Nice list of wines by the glass. Best biscuits I've ever had. The specials list is long, by design. Perfection. We'd had drinks and appetizers at Ella's previously (cheese board, shrimp, red bordeaux)--at the bar, or a small table in front. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, which is relaxed and friendly but at the same time clearly supported by very high standards, and high quality of food and service. On our first visit, the owner was at the next table and was very solicitous, making sure we were happy and taken care of, as if we were valued guests in his home. We found this gem, Ella's tucked away in a grocery store strip of shops and were pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was, once we stepped inside. That was just the start --- the menu is incredible and the food is outstanding.
