  • "Elizabeth on 37th is a great restaurant experience. The food is excellent, my wife who is a vegetarian enjoyed everything she ate. The service is excellent and they are very knowledgeable about the menu. Limited menu but anyone should be able to find something they want to eat. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "Our second visit to Elizabeth's was as memorable as the first. This is fine dining at its Best. It is expensive but well worth it for a special occasion. The dining room is fabulous, the service as professional as you will find anywhere and the food is just outstanding. I had a flounder dish that was so unusual, it is hard described except to say it was great. Probably as good as it gets for fine dining."

  • "Very tourista! Food average. Not nearly as good as when it first opened."

  • "We knew what we were getting before going. We were tourists to Savannah and wanted that kind of experience. Food was good, ambiance excellent. what stood out was the service. Our waiter, Greg, was accommodating, kind and knowledgeable. He is not even a native Southerner. As good as he was, Ally our server was better. She went that extra mile too make the meal special.... Food was good and we recommend it. There are other restaurants in Savannah as good for food, but not service."

  • "The food was excellent. We had the Housemade Fresh Mozzarella appetizer. For dinner, I had the Spicy Savannah Red Rice With Georgia Shrimp. My wife had Coastal Grouper Celeste. All the food was exceptional and delicious. For dessert, we split the chocolate pecan torte, also delicious, but very rich. We were there celebrating our 10th Anniversary -- something I had mentioned in the "Special Requests" section when reserving a table through OpenTable. For whatever reason, however, our server had no idea we were celebrating this special occasion, nor did anyone ever ask. After we mentioned it to one of the assistants, they did deliver the torte with a candle. We never saw or spoke to a manager."

  • "Ordered port for dessert and received a thimbleful. When I questioned the waitress she could have cared less and didn't even offer to send the manager. For a restaurant with their reputation it was unacceptable and cold. Would think twice about returning even though food was excellent."

  • "My wife and I have wanted to dine at Elizabeth's for a few years. So, on our trip to Savannah we were able to eat at this fine restaurant for her birthday. The food was excellent, the chicken soup like none other. The staff was very friendly."

  • "Our party of 5 was celebrating a special birthday. I had requested a cake; they offered a choice and insisted on an inscription. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was only $30. The food was--4 different entrees--was elegant and flavorful. Service was impeccable. In all, it was a memorable evening, light year's better than the experience my wife and I had 3 years ago. We'll do it again--and won't wait as long to return. Bravo!"

  • "Since we make it a habit to dine on our anniversary, we can tell that over the years it always gets better (much like being married). Greg took care of us in ways that always make us feel like family there."

  • "We ate here for my husband's birthday recently. I wanted it to be special for him, and without a doubt it was. In fact, we both agreed it was one of the best meals/experiences we have had. We went with the chef's tasting with wine pairing. Seven courses of food, all of it wonderful, and perfectly paired wines. The waiter was outstanding. Once he talked to us about our likes/preferences, he took care of the rest. The food just kept coming, lovely selections expertly prepared. It would be hard to pick a favorite, but the red snapper was a standout. Every wine chosen is one I hope to find in a store, I loved them all. Will definitely return here in the future!"

  • "Creative cuisine coupled with sensational service. Enjoyed equally by both our Savannah and out of town New York guests. We could not have asked for more. A high end experience from the moment we sat down, made even more perfect by the ease of making the reservation using OpenTable!"

  • "The food was delicious; our server made it very clear that the kitchen would be happy to accommodate our vegetarian/fish (no shellfish) restrictions. Innovative menu. Charming charming atmosphere. Unbelievably attentive, professional service. In a city with many great restaurants, Elizabeth's is a super star!"

  • "This was first time dining here. Special occasion, wife's birthday. Loved it! The food was phenomenal. Crab appetizer was rich in taste and unique in composition; tiny crab cakes plus crab claws and a corn chowder sampling. My entree of red rice and shrimp included clams and sausage … again, rich in taste … was a bit on the spicy side, just the way I like it. Overall, it was a great experience and we can't wait to return."

  • "We had dinner in this romantic and historic restaurant a few weeks ago. Food and service were very good. Only BIG disappointment was having to wait about 50 minutes for our table, regardless the fact that we had made a reservation with a week in advance and arrived on time to the restaurant."

  • "This is the "must not miss" restaurant when visiting Savannah. Just walking up the front steps of this beautifully restored/maintained mansion is a treat. Service was first class: friendly and professional. The menu is short, but excellent. Our dinners were everything we could have wanted. Portions were even a bit too generous, as neither of us could finish. Dessert was an amazing chocolate pecan torte (really ganache) and was the best we've had anywhere in Georgia. If/when we visit Savannah again, I'd like to eat here every night!"

  • "We had a wonderful dining experience at Elizabeth on 37th. Both he food and service were flawless. We knew we were in for a treat when the first (complementary) course came out. The servers were all very good, knowledgable, and fun."

  • "We have been to Savannah numerous time for special occasions and holidays. This was our first visit to Elizabeth on 37th, and it is easily one of the three best restaurants in the city. Great service, tasty cocktails, impressive wine list, delicious food, in a grand old home. I had the red rice and seafood dish (a take on jambalaya), and my wife had a special of breaded flounder. Both were great, the flounder was actually even better than that. A great experience with some of the best serving staff we have ever encountered. Parking is the only drawback, but a very limited drawback at that. Grab a cab if you're concerned, totally worth the extra $$. It wad also nice to have the kitchen send out little tastings between courses."

  • "My friend and I visited Elizabeth's on our first night visiting Savannah from NYC, and could not have had our trip take off on a better note. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience an unforgettable one -- from the care they took in making sure we understood the menu to giving us complimentary old-fashioned's "to-go" at the end of our meal to help us keep our evening going! We are still grinning from our special experience. Thanks to everyone there for making our dinner one of the best we've ever had."

  • "Elizabeth's continues to be consistently perfect - the quality and variety of their food, impeccable service, fabulous ambience and overall welcoming environment. This is far and away our most favorite restaurant in Savannah - whether just for the two of us or when we want to entertain friends or out of town guests."

  • "I heard so many great things about Elizabeth on 37th. This was just ok. We were a group of 4 and all enjoy a nice restaurant and don't mind spending alot if it is good. This just is not worth the money. The food was just ok but did not "wow" you in any way. The service was very good. The bathroom was in a horrible condition. The lighting also is so dim that we had a hard time seeing the menu let alone our food when we rec'd it. I will not go back as there are many other restaurants to try in Savannah."

  • "If you go to Savannah this is a must place to eat! Fresh, inventive, wonderful meals. Don't miss it. We had a boat there for month and each time we flew in I made sure we eat there and brought our guests. Everyone loved it."

  • "Reservation for 7:15, table at 7:50. No bar, although the staff will shuttle drinks from the service bar. Atmosphere is too bright for fine dining and too noisy. The waiter never made eye contact with my wife while reciting the specials. The filet was 'seared' not medium as ordered. They did take it back and reheat, but it was not identifiable as the same piece of meat upon return and was not re-plated. My pork chop was very good, but the mac & cheese was burnt. In summary, 'way' overrated for the price. My wife says 0 stars, I said 2 - so 1 it is."

  • "The food, service and ambiance was exceptional. The only down side was that this was a Friday night and at times the crowd got a little noisy. That said it is not a reason to not dine at this exceptional restaurant."

  • "An exceptional restaurant experience. The friendly staff is very accommodating, and attentive in a relaxed atmosphere. The wine list is extensive, and the food presentation and taste superior! We loved the scallop appetizer, coastal grouper, and chicken with all entrees served with appropriate vegetables and starch. The best apple, cranberry pie with homemade vanilla ice cream topped off our dinner. We look forward to a return visit the next time we are in Savannah!"

  • "Absolutely impeccable service and warm Southern hospitality seem to be the hallmarks of this fine dining establishment. Very creative entrees use fresh local ingredients with interesting pairings, such as the boneless quail and flounder dish my husband enjoyed. Mine was sesame-crusted grouper with a simple peanut sauce on the side-wonderful! Desserts are decadent and large-consider sharing. Lovely ending to our Savannah stay!"

  • "Elizabeth of 37th was recommended by a friend for our visit in Savannah, and it lived up to its recommendation. The food was spectacular, and the service was great. It's a little out of the way for people like us staying in the historic district, but well worth the trip."

  • "My second visit to Elizabeth's and it was even better than I remember. A quiet, warm environment that is just what visitors would expect from a Savannah restaurant - multiple small dining rooms in a stately mansion. The food was outstanding and the presentation and service even better. Very knowledgable wait staff who are friendly but not intrusive. Excellent local cuisine with multiple seafood options and great desserts. A memorable meal."

  • "My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at Elizabeth on 37th. We both ordered the chef's tasting menu and loved the opportunity to sample a variety of the appetizer and entrée specials as well as one or two regular menu items. They were all delicious and the service was fabulous. Never obtrusive but always there to refill water, wine, remove dishes and provide answers to questions about the menu choices. Very professional and knowledgeable about the menu/wine/choices and made sure diners had a great experience."

  • "We went because its in the 1000 to see before you die book by Patricia Schultz - we were still so full from Mrs Wilkes lunch that it was hard to think about food again. We split the pork chop - it was excellent - I think if you love mushrooms you'll love this place - I don't like mushrooms - the service and ambience is wonderful"
