  • "Enjoyed ElevenXI when it first opened several months ago and returned this past weekend. The new menu had excellent choices for all tastes. We dined on raw oysters, apricot fish, scallops, a dinosaur-bone sized short rib, and treated ourselves to French press coffee and a peanut butter chocolate tower for dessert (NOTE: the tower can be made gluten-free upon request). Food was excellent, and even more superior was the service from Jacqueline. We'll be back! "

  • "I loved the oysters and the selection and really loved the bread pudding, but the main dish was bland and overcooked. I orderd the Apricot Flounder, which was the waiters recommendation. It was really dry and bland. I wanted to love this place. The service was great, but I honestly wouldn't go back. Maybe for just drinks and appetizers. It was overpriced for the quality of food."

  • "The food was excelllent and the service was good. Meet a friend for dinner, we split the fried oyster special that was amazing and the muscles from the menu as an appetizer (Note: muscles where on the small side probably due to season but the broth was drinkable, get extra bread to soak it up). For main course my friend got a special of the night , pork belly with scallops on top, was excellent they should added to the menu as a regular item. I had the lampchops of the menu with mushroom risotto and veggies, the chop was cooked to perfection best lamb yet, the riisotto needed a little work but I'll over look it because everything else was so good. Definetly will be back. Try a Gin Mule drink you'll enjoy that too."

  • "We went to this restaurant as the Yelp reviews were outstanding - 4 and 5 stars. I am not an oyster lover but since this an oyster bar too, I had to try. I have to say the selection of oysters was interesting and they were extraordinarily fresh- like eating/drinking the sea. If you love oysters, this is the place to go. Four of us ordered the lamb, filet, pork chop and rabbit papparadelle dish. The rabbit dish was excellent - a little too much beefy broth taste, but overall, excellent. The neighboring table ordered the apricot flounder and we all wish we ordered that! Lovely! Another table had the tasting menu and I would suggest that as well. Outdoor dining a +! Blue corn grits and risotto great! Prices reasonable. Sommelier very helpful!"

  • "We went to Eleven XI for a special Birthday brunch. Their service was stellar, which started immediately when we walked in the door and continued throughout our experience! On top of that, the food was excellent! Our table shared several dishes; we ordered the XI Madame, Breakfast Corn Dog, Seafood Crepe, Chicken and Waffles, Daily Fried Pie for dessert, and Mimosas (with 4 yummy juices to choose from!). All was executed perfectly and tasted amazing, our only regret was that we were too full to try more. My husband and I have been to Eleven XI a few times for happy hours and weeknight dinner; we always have a wonderful time there. I'm so glad to learn it's also a terrific choice for brunch and special occasions!!"

  • "Showed up for our reservation, and sat us in a terrible seat. We felt like we were in the kitchen, with swinging doors nearly hitting us every 5 seconds and trays of food about 2 inches from my head. After telling the waiter, he essentially told us to leave because there was nothing he could do (or wanted to). However, after speaking to the manager, he made everything better immediately. Found us a new table very quickly and made sure we were taken care of. Food was delicious. Thank you for your help!"

  • "We lived here for forever and never been there. What a mistake. This place is great. Price is very reasonable, food is delicious and the staff was great. I specially recommend the 5, 7 or 9 course meal, with beverage pairing. They have a great wine cellar and the one of the owners personally chose our parings. Definitely a great restaurant."

  • "  My husband and I were married in early March 2014 and sought out a high-star restaurant with a chef’s tasting menu for our wedding night dinner. I loved the southern coastal offerings listed here and then looked at the name of the restaurant. The number 11 and 11:11 have been prominent in our lives and relationship, so finding the name to be “ElevenXI,” we were sold! We were able to enjoy the atmosphere, and each member of the staff were visibly pleased to be there and were extremely efficient and friendly. We ordered the 9-course Chef’s Tasting as our meal. Chef Bryant knows exactly what he’s doing, and by our experience with the Chef’s Tasting, you can order anything on his menu and know you’re going to love it."

We ordered 3 burgers, 2 of them came out wrong - we let our server know it wasn't right and she got the manager to adjusted our bill a few dollars (not our intent) to compensate. It also took a very long time to get our drinks and food - they were busy, the kitchen couldn't keep up. Not a great first impression..."

The oysters were just as ordered: briny, not too metallic. I will return. The wines paired beautifully with the tasting and were unusual wines such as an ice wine from Quebec."

  • "We found ElevenXI on the internet and decided to try it out. We dined early before going to the theatre so the crowd was sparse but the food was very good and the service was outstanding. Good wine selection and menu had wide selection. We had shrimp cocktail, tomato soup, ceasar salad, filets, rib eye and signature peanut butter dessert. We eat out alot and our rating system is "would we eat there again" and we definitely would."

My one complaint would be that we were 15 minutes late for our reservation and they gave away our table. It was quite a wait until they could seat us although that was our fault as well."

  • "We celebrated a birthday here- nothing special about the décor in the restaurant, but the entrees were particularly notable. I had scallops which were properly cooked and seasoned, the salmon was also very good. One dining member of our party had the pork chop which was huge. The desserts (especially the peanut butter tower) were large enough for 2 and the French pressed coffee was a nice touch. A little pricey ($270 for four) but we did have a bottle of wine and beer. Service attentive but not overly cloying. All in all, another winner for the chef."

  • "Spur of the moment early dinner on Saturday, we sat in the bar and had some fabulous oysters, followed by the stuffed fish filet and the pork chop. All tasted great, if anything the fish portion was a bit too large, but maybe just very filling due to the stuffing. The wine was great, staff are always very helpful and attentive, and even though we've only eaten there a couple of times, the waiter remembered us and welcomed us back."
