We could have eaten the seared foie gras serving twice! Wines were excellent. The service was flawless. We dined for lunch and found the place really quiet ... Our table was having a good time and we felt like we needed to tone down the laughter; did not matter though because we were loving our experience. I strongly recomend the experience for those who do not care about paying an extra to receive a exceptional service level and high quality food.
More than that, they asked if my wife and I were celebrating a special occasion, to what we confirmed that was our 15th wedding anniversary, and at the end we got 2 boxes with delicious chocolates and a card congratulating us!

The tasting menu was divine and the service - excellent! We were celebrating our 1 yr. wedding anniversary, and the staff went out of the way to make it a memorable occasion (with gold-dusted chocolate bars and a kitchen tour to boot!)

We expected something out of the ordinary, and that was exactly what we got, we can understand why this restaurant is awarded 5th place amongst all the restaurants in the world.
The food was amazing and the wine we had.... Perfect:-)
And the service was truly at its best. We really liked the way they present each course, some are more ordinary served while others make you wish it never stops. (The picnic was really cool, so the card trick at the end;-)

We had read wonderful reviews and so we had very high expectations. We weren't disappointed! Mind you- our favorite entertainments include food, art and theatre. Eleven Madison Park provided all of these in fine style. The restaurant itself is spacious, sophisticated, and elegant. Each of our sixteen little courses was artistically presented by very engaging waitstaff. We enjoyed a picnic basket and clambake, card tricks, and gifts of cookies and granola to take home. The food was amazing...a highlight was a creamed duck and potato bisque which we dubbed "the duck ice cream". Honestly, you have to taste this to believe it!
