The kitchen was kind enough to simplify the flatbread pizza for my daughters. When I first moved to St. Louis a few years ago this was one of the first restaurants to which I was introduced. This visit was no less pleasing than my first. I started the mixed green salad with a strawberry champagne dressing. The salad was crisp, the dressing exactly the right amount and the flavor...well, you simply have to try it for yourself. Sweet and bubbly, light and refreshing without any overly tart overtones. I also had the ribeye with potatoes. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. The potatoes however were placed beneath the steak and absorbed a bit too much of that grease, plus it seemed they were cooked in butter. Delicious, but a tad greasy. Portions were very large and left with plenty for leftovers.
Only complaint is the 2 top tables are awfully close together and it was hard to have a conversation without feeling like we were being listened to and when the tables next to us were being served the workers were bumping into our tables trying to get to them.

The service was great, not rushed and not crowded. We did not think the price was terrible for the great food and service we received.
If you go, you must order the butterscotch panna cotta (and a glass of milk).

One of our group needs to eat Gluten Free and Eleven Eleven was most accommodating! Our waiter was superb...helping us decipher the wine list and specials. It had been awhile since we dined at 1111 and now we wonder why - it was a great experience. Every detail was perfect - they called to confirm our reservation; seated the 2 of us at a 4-top (allowing plenty of room) by the window - but near the fireplace; and didn't seat other diners near each other (until as the evening progressed - it filled up). Our server (Dan) was very helpful with our choices, including a great wine. He and the others were just what you want - at your table when you need them - but not overly bothersome. We were seated upstairs, even though we had a reservation, and we were with an older couple in their late 70's. We shared a fritter app which was very tasty. For dinners, we had salmon -- large pieces -- and really liked the spaghetti squash and spinach accompaniment. I tasted one of the pizzas -- very, very yummy and again, plenty leftover to bring home; the delicious grouper with crispy crust and the spicy shrimp on linguine.
They brought a hefty serving of gooey butter cake, candle and all, for the birthday girl -- no charge, very nice. And I think each server, etc. wished her a happy birthday throughout the evening.
