Loved the atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that we had an 8:30 reservation and they were out of the fish special by the time we went to order. From fantastic service to incredibly knowledgeable wait staff about the food and wine, I was in love with Eleven Eleven Mississippi before our food even arrived. I had their rib-eye upon recommendation from the waiter and it was to die for. Done perfectly to my liking, amazing potatoes, my mouth is watering just thinking of it. And you can't beat the price ($26)--for a steak less good than this I've paid upwards of $50. The server David was excellent and also attentive. A really great time was had by our group of four! My husband's Lobster BLT had lots of lobster but sandwich was overly bland, My porchetta fennel sandwich was overpowered by a very thick hamburger like bun. Once I removed the bread, flavors came through. Our server Jeffrey R was outstanding. We were there on a busy Saturday night, yet the food came out a little too quickly, barely finishing our apps and salads when dinner appeared . The waiter might have been in training because he struggled describing the specials (which sounded completely different at the neighboring table) and answering our questions.
Among items ordered were the Cream of Broccoli soup, arugula salad, red snapper and beef medallions which were good. The pizza was the biggest hit.

When I first moved to St. Louis a few years ago this was one of the first restaurants to which I was introduced. This visit was no less pleasing than my first. I started the mixed green salad with a strawberry champagne dressing. The salad was crisp, the dressing exactly the right amount and the flavor...well, you simply have to try it for yourself. Sweet and bubbly, light and refreshing without any overly tart overtones. I also had the ribeye with potatoes. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. The potatoes however were placed beneath the steak and absorbed a bit too much of that grease, plus it seemed they were cooked in butter. Delicious, but a tad greasy. The service was great, not rushed and not crowded. We did not think the price was terrible for the great food and service we received.
If you go, you must order the butterscotch panna cotta (and a glass of milk).
