A word from Elevation
Elevation, the student operated restaurant at the Cascade Culinary Institute, connects the public and students as an integral part of the curriculum. Patrons are actively engaged via an e-survey, where they can provide feedback about their dining and service experience. The guest feedback is then integrated into the instructional process on a daily basis to influence both individual and group learning. On a quarterly basis, students present on what they have learned from the feedback and how they have used this input to enhance their cooking and service skill development.

Learning outcomes within Elevation associate with developing confidence in cooking and service techniques, effective communication skills, and teamwork as they prepare for a transition to their career path in the hospitality industry.
