We don't get a chance to go out by ourselves much since we have 2 small children, but Elements is definitely worth every penny we spent on babysitting and on the meal itself. The food was fresh, impeccably presented, and extremely tasty! While we obviously didn't try everything on the menu, it all looked fantastic and made our decisions difficult. We selected the Cha Gio as an appetizer which was very well done and was perfect for sharing between two people. My wife had the wok-cooked filet mignon and exclaimed that it was the best red meat she had ever tasted. I tasted it and agreed wholeheartedly. I had the scallops and felt the exact same. For appetizers, the table ordered oysters, beet salad, and the caprese. All of the cheese were local from Hillsborough Creamery. These dishes were well done.
When the entrees came out however, the table got completely silent. We were all too busy eating to speak. I got the Red Curry Eggplant. The fresh bamboo shoots were amazing. The fried tofu added a nice crunch to it. The sauce was spicy, but the coconut cooled it off just enough. Other dishes ordered at the table were the scallops, bison steaks, and sesame ahi tuna. The latter two were specials. So we decided to try it for lunch. The hostess was seating parties of two away from a table set up for a dozen people. That gesture was appreciated. Had the restaurant been full I could imagine the noise would be too much.
Both of our lunch selections along with the side salads were delicious and the black mango ice tea very good as well. The menu is interesting and varied, the presentation is spectacular, service is impeccable and the food is a dream.
I have eaten there 3 times and it is better each time if possible.
