Elements RestaurantPerfect for a Girls Get Together3 of us met at Elements for our annual get together. It was an A+ place to meet. We were able to hear ourselves talk and the room was very comfortable.
Food was very good. Appetizer was particularly salty.....so salty that one of my friends returned her appetizer.
Only other complaint is I ordered the skate. The portion had about 3 bites to it. It was so small I had to look for it on the plate.
I will go back, but will ask about portion size when I return.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing as expectedI come here about ones every 1-2 months. If I did not have to worry about money at all, it would probably be every other week.
Again, the food (I had the black bass sashimi and the pork) was exquisite as was the wine.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely Amazing Restaurant!Elements excels at everything! We had an amazing dinner on Mon. evening. The staff couldn't been nicer, and the food extraordinary. Wish we lived closer; we'd be visiting Elements weekly.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat againYou just can't go wrong with the Chet's tasting menu, which is excellent at every turn. Carl is great at picking the wine and Antonio hooked is up with inventive cocktails. Another winning meal.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways excellentelements delivers a stunning meal, each plate carefully prepared and presented, with flavor pairings you may never have considered, but which always please the palate. Since we started eating out at elements, we have stopped eating out anywhere else.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food, service ambience.Excellent food, service ambience. Very expensive. Best for a special occasion. We had the chef's 6 course tasting menu. Items will be adjusted if you have any food allergies. Everything was very exotic and interesting. Each plate was made up of several interesting food selections/preparations. Each was explained thoroughly. You would not know the food if they did not tell you what it was. It was also very good the selections were small portions as the food was very rich. Even thought the portions were small, there were several courses and we were full at the end. A very lovely special evening.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, horrible waitWe arrived on time for our dinner reservation, only to be told that there would be a bit of a wait. 50 minutes later, and we still had not been seated, though some of the groups who arrived after us had already been seated. Given the price tag of Elements, we expected much better service, especially considering that we already had a reservation. What's the point of a reservation if we're still going to have to wait another hour to be seated? Plus, one of the members of our party had a later commitment that waiting an additional hour made her run late to.
The actual meal itself, once we got seated, was fine. The servers were very accommodating with special dietary restrictions and the dishes were delicious.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOnce again an exceptionalOnce again an exceptional meal. We had the Chef's tasting menu 6 course. Each course better than the one preceding. Along with the paired wines it was perfect. This was our third visit but not our last.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMIn general, the dishes showedIn general, the dishes showed careful selection of ingredients and great attention to detail. Several were truly spectacular (morel appetizer, black bass sashimi appetizers, desert). But others were not quite so successful, and one (a pasta dish) was so salty as to be nearly inedible for us (too much pancetta, I think). Still, the meal was very promising, and we'll give the restaurant another shot.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding experienceWe really enjoyed our lunch. The service was great, the gin and tonic really special. The food was very good, with the pate de fois gras really outstanding. We'll be back.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFANTASTIC!Everything about elements gave us a great experience. The food was amazing - some of the best dishes we have ever tasted!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant SurpriseArrived at the restaurant and was offered a seat in the "kitchen". Normally you have to partake in a set menu but as we had not reserved the kitchen we were able to experience this special room without having the set menu. The table decided to do the 4 course tasting menu. There were 3 choices for each course, which was a plus as most other restaurants have a set menu for this. They also were accommodating in that the whole table did not have to do this menu and concerned about food allergies. The wine list was extensive with many varietals not normally seen at NJ restaurants. Overall, we drove an hour to get to Elements and would do it again!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAsian influenced cuisine andAsian influenced cuisine and flavors which appealed to us because we're from Hawaii. Definitely a farm to table concept restaurant using locally sourced ingredients and products. Ranks up there with some of our favorite Hawaii Pan- Asian fusion restaurants. Will dine there again when in thearea.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGood for lunchGreat, quiet spot for business lunches. Food is fussy, but good. Prix fixe lunch is terrific, and a terrific bargain, and with a glass of wine, a delight. Dinner is expensive, overly fussy, and the wine list grossly overpriced. Stay away in the evenings.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOne fabulous restaurantMy wife and I had another spectacular meal at Elements. Everything about Elements, the sauces, the flavors, the presentation, the service etc is innovative and first rate. This is clearly one of the finest restaurants in the New York/New Jersey area.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMa higher dimension in haute cuisinewho'd think that just outside Princeton New Jersey there's a world class restaurant? Elements is it. too good to even describe.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA truly amazing experienceA truly amazing experience for foodies. EXCELLENT in every way. The food was ridiculously good. The taste was fabulous, the staff was engaging and knowledgable. Everything about the evening was magical. You can surely tell the chef puts his heart and soul into his art creations. The use of seasonal local ingredient was appreciated. I love reading that the chicken I am eating is from my neighborhood farm. Every dish a masterpiece.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply incredibleFrom the moment you enter into Elements restaurant, you are going to be well taken care of. Customer service is beyond expectations. The food is beyond delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and enjoyable. Nothing is rushed. Every person from the Valet parking to the final coffee server is a total gem. This dining experiece is the greatest. It makes every special occasion extra special.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMStill my favorite restaurantElements consistently surprises me (in a good way) with their interesting food combinations and gorgeous presentation. The service is always outstanding and the timing fantastic. I have never had a bad experience here, though I did have a chipped bread plate once.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Fine Dining in the AreaBoth the food and service were excellent. It's expensive, but you definitely get what you paid for. Well worth it.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWent or lunch Servers wereWent or lunch Servers were friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, but not as polished as I expected with this level of dining. The restaurant was not crowded. The food was interesting, but nothing left a lasting impression Many of the dishes were a little unbalanced. The spring salad had too much of a smoky element. the short ribs with papardelle had lovely pasta, but the short ribs were like an afterthought The deconstructed cream pie I had for dessert had lovely texture with homemade graham cracker and pistachios, but the dish didn't have enough orange to balance the sweetness of the homemade marshmallow. It was just too sweet. Overall, it was a nice lunch but not somewhere I have an urge to return to again.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMChefs tasting menu was exceptionalChefs tasting menu was exceptional in every way...4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMScenic and great atmosphereThe scenic drive towards Princeton University made this a destination restaurant for me and my client. We enjoyed the impeccable very attentive service that you only get at the finest restaurants. The wait staff worked in teams with those not busy running food and drinks standing at attention scanning the room to ensure that each dinning guest had everything they needed. The menu was appealing to our small, but varied tastes group. The wine list by the glass was interesting, yet not over priced. The front podium staff was very friendly when we arrived and thanked us for coming as we departed. They gave us a small parting gift with recipes from celebrity chefs that are planning to rotate in.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOur party of four selectedOur party of four selected the four course tasting menu and it was delicious. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The noise level in the main downstairs dining room was loud and was my only complaint...it was hard to hear each other and we weren't even sitting in the middle of the room. Overall it was a wonderful evening.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMfood was excellent; waiterfood was excellent; waiter service was very good; they had a lot of trouble coordinating the drinks. we were kicked out of the bar as we were waiting for our table only to wait forty mintutes at our table for our first round of drinks4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWent here for my 40th birthday.Went here for my 40th birthday. We had the 4 course menu with wine pairing. It was fabulous! Food was delicious and service was great!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMBy far the best food I haveBy far the best food I have found in or anywhere near Princeton, and our recent meal there would have been rave-worthy even in a major city. Really interesting menu for both food and drink, appears to change frequently based on seasonal availability of ingredients. The staff was attentive and informed about the food and wine. The decor is simple and the tables are well spaced, with less ambient noise than might be expected from the lack of carpet and liberal use of stone and metal. The location is a bit odd, along Route 206 leaving town, among the strip malls and gas stations. Really can't walk there from hotels downtown or the college unfortunately.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ambience, wonderfulGreat ambience, wonderful unique dishes with combinations of flavors which left my mouth popping for hours!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had dinner at ElementsWe had dinner at Elements on April 6th 2013.
We tried the tasting menu which was good and

The food is superb.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMCreativity Served HereOutstandingly creative and delicious food. Simply astounding intricate and complex mixtures of textures, colors, and tastes. Our thanks to a chef who really knows and loves food.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AM- The Duroc Pork was good,- The Duroc Pork was good, but not particularly memorable.
- The Black Cod was delicious. Flaky and springy without being too salty.
- The 48 Hour Short Rib. Wow. It's a must try. It was sadly served warm rather than piping hot, but I've never had beef as tender as this. I would go back just for this entree.
- Multiple varieties of free bread, all tasty.
- The restaurant included a bunch of freebies that weren't expected, including a potato and apple soup, a dessert platter, as well as a nice two-bite pound cake for the ride home.
- The service was exceptional. Each and every waiter was polite, informative, and rarely kept you waiting for anything.
I would definitely come back here again.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was wonderful untilEverything was wonderful until the bill arrived. We were a party of four. We did not order the tasting menu, but we're charged for it. I am less inclined to think it was an error because we were correctly charged corkage fees for two bottles. When we pointed out the problem, it was corrected immediately, but it should not have happened.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent experienceAs always, Elements provided a really great experience with awesome food and excellent service.
