  • "Loved the Tuna Tartare and the escargot Wellington. Main course was not as good. The Sea Bass under seasoned With not enough miso flavor and overwhelming citrus Flavor. The fish was also slightly overcooked. The emperor's rice Was not great either. The pork chops were good but not Fantastic like the appetizers. Next time I would just Order a bunch of appetizers. Our waiter Sean was Very friendly and seem to know what he was taking about. We had a seat looking our to the view of the city... Very nice! Overall experience very good! Definitely worth a try Once and for us we would go back next time we Are visiting Scottsdale."

  • "This is one of the most breathtaking sceneic views that the valley of the son has to offer. You owe it to yourself to try this restaurant at least once."

  • "The restaurant is very nice, and the service is also very good, casual yet prompt and professional. The wine list has some very very good bottles on it, and a number of nice offerings by the glass, more so than many other establishments. However, it is the food that really hits the high notes here. The flavors and the perfection in preparation and presentation are well above the standard, and our standard is pretty high! The Asian Oysters Rockefeller were the opening revelation. Beautiful and unique flavor. The black truffle polenta was also magnificent, finished with grated black truffle rather than flavored with truffle oil. This is a great place to add to your dining list if you really love great food."

  • "Both elements and jade bar at Sanctuary Resort on Camelback Mountain get all of the details right. The views, presentation of the food and drinks, the tastes, and the service are sublime. A Valley favorite that continues to age gracefully with upgrades and improvements."

  • "Host was very friendly, server was friendly and helpful. Food brought out a little to slow, sat for quite a while between placing order and getting food. Ordered salad with dressing on the side, it came dressed, sent back and it took really long time til it was brought out.overall I felt service could have been better since they were not busy at all. Also the valet parking, get real I parked my car myself since the lot is right there but 99% of the spaces were for valet only. They were mostly empty.but overall it was a nice lunch."

  • "I truly appreciated the way that Elements made my first date with an awesome lady so special. They allowed me to pick my table and helped get the setting arranged with some flowers and chocolate covered strawberries, special candles, and champagne waiting when we got to our table. The food was delicious. The evening was beyond my expectations."

  • "We went for dinner at sunset in late March for our anniversary. We had a very intimate table and were treated like we were very special all the way through the desert. The soup was fantastic. We each had a different salad, and each were great. She had the filet and it was magnificent and I had the duck. It was bursting with flavor."

  • "My date and I went to Elements celebrating prom. We had made a reservation at 6. We got there at 5:40 and we didn't have to wait at all. The service was outstanding. The view was really beautiful. The best part of this experience was the food. We were both satisfied with our choices. I will be coming back soon."

  • "We had lunch and then supper at this outstanding restaurant. Its location, nestled on the side of Camelback Mountain makes the views nothing short of breath taking. The service and food were equally spectacular. The menu is very diverse, with a distinct Asian influence. We sampled soups, calamari, escargot and oyster starters as well as steak and halibut mains--everything was flavourful and memorable."

  • "Our dining experience at elements was perfect. You cannot ask for better service. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful time."

  • "Returned with out of town family and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Started with cocktails in the Jade Bar which has expanded since our last visit--it's now HUGE but still has great bartenders. Have to request a window table to catch the stunning views. All of our appetizers and entrees were wonderful and generous servings. Be prepared for a loud noise level, only criticism, would be nice if they could dampen the noise some."

  • "Everything was outstanding, especially the knowledgable and friendly staff, particularly the hostess Jessica who couldn't have done more for us."

  • "Elements is located in the Sanctuary, a picture perfect resort in Scottsdale, AZ. The food is as great as the views! From the dining room you can see a beautiful view of the area. The lunch menu had enough variety for everyone to enjoy and the portions are sizable. The service was friendly and, while Sanctuary is an upscale resort, the people were not at all snobbish. I had the orechiette pasta dish and my companion had the grilled cheese sandwich. Make sure to dip the sandwich in the blackberry ketchup...it tastes divine! We shared Edamame before hand which had just the slightest hint of lime. I would definitely return to Elements, most likely next time for either breakfast or dinner (or both!), to continue on this culinary journey."

  • "We were seated by the bar area that was having a very loud party and had to move to the back dining area since we could barely talk to each other. The food was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Personally, if you are looking for a special occassion restaurant, I would suggest others. Service was just "ok"...again, nothing to write home about."

  • "The food, the service and the ambience of the restaurant were fabulous. Great views added to the quality of the food which was superb."

  • "If you're looking for a special evening, this is it. The food was very good and the view was spectacular. Book close to sunset so you can enjoy a sky awash in desert color through floor to ceiling windows. Every seat in the house is a "good" seat. Guests are well dressed ranging from cocktail wear to business casual. We sat inside but outdoor seating is also available. If pressed, I'd say that service could have been a little faster but it's hard to complain."

  • "This is a great restaurant that I have been to many times. Go early (before sundown) and have a drink in their outdoor patio and watch the sun set over the mountain, and then retire inside for a wonderful dinner."

  • "The view and service were amazing, I did not give the food a 5 because my duck was dry to the point I couldn't eat it but the apps and desserts were all delicious."

  • "You will feel like you are a star, and will be able to look at the stars as you dine at Elements. The food selection was amazing. Each person at our table had a different dish, which we all tasted, and from pasta to seafood to beef the preparation was exceptional tasting and looked like works of art. The wine list was terrific, service supreme. Desserts were AMAZING. Again, we all tried different things and shared...it was a culinary delight! The view was incredible and restaurant was totally romantic. Although we went with friends this time, it's definitely a place we will go for a more romantic meal. Kudos to the chef, and the service staff for making our evening so memorable!"

  • "This is a great restaurant in a beautiful setting. We had four courses, sharing both the appetizer and dessert. Portions were nicely sized and the view cannot be beat. We will definitely be back when we are in the Scottsdale area."

  • "Wonderful setting in Paradise Valley. We had the salmon and butternut dumplings. Superb food and service."

  • "I love everything about Elements. The only feedback I would have is I don't love chasing down a server while in the Jade Bar for another round of drinks and then again when I needed the tab. I had to leave my guests to go up to the bar after waiting about 10-15 min without seeing my server."

  • "My daughter and I were in Scottsdale for Spring Break. I had read the reviews for Elements and decided to give it a try. Wow! Started out with a beautiful table facing an unbelievable sunset. The view alone should make you want to come here. The food and wine were outstanding. We had the duck and sea bass. Both were prepared incredible. Dessert was to die for as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was also outstanding!!!"

  • "I surprised my parents with a 48 year "first date" anniversary dinner at Sanctuary. The staff went above and beyond to make this event special for my parents and ensured that they never had to want for anything. The food was fantastic and staff personalities were even better! Thanks for making this event so special for my parents!"

  • "Best damn dining experience we've ever had in the Scottsdale area. Food is absolutely remarkable. Well thought out wine list. Service is attentive and professional. The view while eating and the sun is setting is quite something. Next time we're down for Spring Training we'll make sure we eat here twice!"

  • "Very disappointed as went for sunday brunch as we did last year, and was only given an a la carte menu as they have changed their Sunday dining habit. Good view but not as great as advertised, sat in a booth which was uncomfortable. Menu not very inspiring and the worst thing was that they brought out our two courses straight after each other so we'd finished our lunch in less than 30 mins. Wouldn't recommend as overall didn't enjoy our outing."

  • "Everything about our experience was awesome. The staff was great, the view spectacular, and food amazing and very memorable. We had the mussels and polenta to start. Both were amazing. I had the sea bass which was the best sea bass I think I've ever had. My sister had the pork chop which was delish and my friend had the filet which was also delightful. I would highly recommend!"

  • "We have been at Alchemy for Happy Hour on the terrace, dinner and lunch in the restaurant, and have always had an outstanding experience. The ambience/views are outstanding - can't decide which we like more - daytime or evening. The menu selections are always a tough choice and the food has always been really great. A real winner ..."

  • "The restaurant is stunning, the servers were friendly and professional and the food was extraordinary, from the flavors to the presentation. We loved that we had a great view and were allowed to linger over our delicious dinner. Such a romantic evening."

  • "There were so many things this restaurant has done right- the ambiance was amazing, a private booth for two overlooking the valley lights. The food was innovative and tasty, lobster and truffle mac with large pieces of lobster and a delicious creaminess. The salmon was cooked perfectly, crispy outside with a delicate flaky interior. However that's where the good times ended. The wine we chose was no longer available, yet still on the menu. Our waiter was missing in action the majority of the evening, never seemed engaged. Once our entrees arrived, my husband's steak was far from the med temp requested. Dirty plates sat on the table, water never refilled. The wait staff in general was not in keeping with the quality of this establishment."
