This restaurant always leaves me awestruck... the location itself provides breathtaking views of Arizona's spectacular landscape... The service provided by a friendly, professional staff is impeccable, as would be expected from any award winning establishment... Then there is the food... amazing food and wine list... creative presentation and great food... the menu has something for every taste from gluten free and vegetarian to seafood and meats, all with the promise to delight. Expensive? Yes, but worth every cent, every time.

Elements is a beautiful restaurant, few places combine great architecture and decoration over a nice view like this place. Edge is the outdoor balcony that I recommend for sunset dining. Indoor done seem nice as well. Kuni was our server and not only she was corteous and attentive, she gave us the right recommendations for dessert. The opportunity here is with food. Chef must pay attention to details. In our case, carpaccio was dry, as it was waiting hours for someone to order, the sea bass wasn't fresh or miso made it loose the right consistency. My scallops were tasty and tortellini paired well. I can't speak for other menu items, but if few details are corrected, elements could be a extraordinary experience.

Very disappointed, The noise level was so bad that you could hardly talk. We moved tables that helped a little. Also unless you're down in one of the booths facing out or outside you really don't get to enjoy the view. There were a few dishes that we thought were very good. But overall very disappointed in the choices and the meal. We dine out a lot, and really expected a better experience! It was much more enjoyable the way it was before.

My husband and are are foodies so we knew for our 22nd wedding anniversary we wanted to have a romantic and delicious dinner. We have traveled to many cities around the world including Paris, Venice, Rome, San Francisco, Barcelona, London, and New York and have had some exciting culinary adventures. When we travel to a new city in the U.S. we google Iron Chef restaurants in the area. We have eaten at a few owned by Bobby Flay and Morimoto. Elements was the best restaurant we have ever eaten at in Arizona. It was amazing.

This place is amazing - the service and view are spectacular, but the food was the best part of the evening. Get the short ribs - wow. It was my boyfriends birthday and they gave a free dessert with a candle. Perfect touch. There were even rose petals on the table from the previous couple who were there celebrating an anniversary. I think this place would accommodate any request to make the evening special.

What a great find! I was traveling in SCottsdale and looking for a somewhere with a view and great food, I came upon Elements. First, they make great martinis, so kudos to the bar people. I had the foie gras sticky buns appetizer and it was served as to make the palate sing, I would have that everyday! The mains were beautifully served, we had the daily special of lamb which was cooked to perfection, every element perfect on the plate, and also the short ribs, like wow. The service was stellar, kudos to our waitress. I did not have dessert, but had the cheese plate which had a good mix of cheeses with a great chutney. I would return there again for a birthday anytime and stay at the resort too!

There appears to be a philosophy at the Sanctuary that every customer is special and imporant. We purposely arrived earlier than our dinner reservation so we could enjoy the live band in the lounge, where we were served promptly with tasty lemon drops. Dinner service was attentive and pleasant without feeling rushed. The waiter was professional and attuned to our needs, even though he was busy. This time, we had some fun and ordered mac n cheese with our appetizers. Deliciously sinful. Each time we come, it's consistently spectacular.

I would say the setting and views are amazing. Our server was great. The greeter was not organized had to check in twice. requested a window seat and was never acknowledged. Need to get organized and professional. The menu is very limited, the portions are painfully small. My filet was at best 3 inches around. Party of four was 450.oo fro dinner way over priced for the quality. Desert was less then desired. Two small cupcakes and small table spoon of ice cream. I would seek another place for food. Drinks and views are great.

We have eaten at Elements a few times a year for the past few years. We expect a great fine dining experience and they have typically delivered. This past Saturday left us a little disappointed. The service, decor, and ambience were all what we like about the place. But what we expect in the food was not. The menu seems have gone to heavier flavors and the presentation a little more pedestrian. Granted, a couple of different menu selections and we may have changed our opinion. But even the execution seemed a little heavy handed. We'll be back, but perhaps not with the sense that we're head for one of the very Phoenix dining experiences, but just another good restaurant with a view. Also, the wine markup seems to have gotten a little steep.

We booked this reservation for our wedding anniversary, which was the specific reason for our trip to Arizona. And unfortunately, of all of our restaurant experiences during our 5 day stay there, this was by far the worst experience yet cost us the most amount of money. Very disappointing. When we arrived for our 8:45pm reservation, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and sat down and told us our waiter would be with us shortly. 20 mins later and still no waiter. When he finally made his appearance 35 mins into our "dining experience" he didn't even apologize, just said there was a mix up. He then rushed us through ordering and our meals. Extremely disappointed. The food was excellent but the service made the whole experience unpleasant.

We went to elements with a small group to celebrate our wedding the following day. We referenced the special occasion on our reservation and again when we verbally confirmed. Never once did any staff member say a word about it. Service was spotty at best. We sat for over ten minutes before even seeing our server. Throughout the meal he disappeared for large periods of time. We were going to order dessert but he was gone so long we skipped it and went elsewhere. If you are going to spend 100 dollars per person on a meal there must be better choices. Food was very very good.

I selected the Elements restaurant for me and my girlfriend's anniversary dinner. We arrived and were sat right away, no waiting period what so ever. We started with the foie gras sticky bun for an appetizer, very delicious! For our main courses, my girlfriend ordered the hawaiian nairagi, and for me, I ordered the bacon wrapped filet of beef, both of which were delicious. We also order some alcoholic beverages as well, my girlfriend order a light red wine which she loved, and I ordered a mix drink, which was very excellent as well. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we will DEFINITELY be coming back again. Thanks!

This is by far our favorite in Phoenix. Call me Mr Finicky but this place wins the tri-fecta for dining food, service and ambiance. Our server, Denise, was both fun and professional. She recommended the daily special, Georgian scallops, which hit on all the marks - sweet, spicy, creamy and crunchy. Incredible views of Paradise Valley at night tops off an incredible dining experience. Yes, it's a bit pricy but well worth the memories.

The facility was excellent, despite some apparent renovation work in part of the dining area. The view was marvelous, although I did regret arriving after sunset, which I think would have been spectacular. The menu was both broad enough and interesting, with the food excellent in both preparation and presentation. The only issue encountered was the two rather large and loud parties seated near us; however, the restaurant cannot be responsible for the conduct of its clientele, up to a point.
