elements at Sanctuary Camelback Mountainsunset @ ElementsVery interesting menu, with excellent descriptions. Good wine list. Excellent views of Paradise Valley6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMPrivate & romantic!Excellent menu, many fish & seafood options, romantic atmosphere, stellar wine list, our server Greg was exceptional as was the sommelier. A relaxed, exquisite experience!6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary DateWe loved the privacy of our table along with the romantic ambiance. The duck was very delicious as with the scallops. Our server was very careful with the awareness of food allergies that you don't get at other restaurants. With it being our first visit there we will definetely go back again.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday blissWe had an extraordinary experience here to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday.
Everything was amazing!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentMy wife and I had an amazing experience here, we will definitely come back. Service is top notch, food is fantastic ... this can be as romantic as you want.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMElements did not disappointBooked online and noted we would be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary with them. The reservation was for 715 and they gave us the best table in the joint (front window, far west table). Our server greeted us with a "Happy Anniversary" which I thought was a nice touch (its the little things people). The cocktails, food, views were all top notch. Dessert was on the house and we left with smiles on our faces. Thanks Elements for making our Anniversary so memorable.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMRuth Chris LoverElements certainly surprised me with excellent food, drink and service. Would recommend any Ruth Chris Lover to try the cuisine at the Elements.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Experience!Restaurant was great and so was the service. Pork chop had great flavor but was very dry. Had cooked medium at recommendation of waiter. Other wise the experience was great and the service was excellent. They even brought us an awesome treat for our anniversary.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best food and martiniThe best food and martini I have EVER had!!! Pricey but worth every penny!!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent, as alwaysThe title says it all. We love coming to Elements every time! We have never been disappointed.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMSo Nice....Perfect for a special occasion. The food is very good but the beauty of the mountains can't be beat.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMUnforgettable evening! The entire experience at Elements was truly fantastic, and my husband can be very difficult to please. The service was exceptional, and they had some lovely surprises on their wine list. The food was nothing short of show stopping, and the gorgeous view added to the magic of the experience. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we have ever had, and we can't wait to go back.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful locationWe enjoyed breakfast on the patio overlooking Camelbak Mountain. Asked for a patio table on arrival to be told there wasn't one available but when we asked how long the wait would be, an outside table miraculously opened up.
Food was excellent and server nice though he brought us like warm lattes (admitted he hadn't heated the milk enough)
Also got my order totally wrong...was very apologetic and took care of it right away
Aside from that, our breakfast was excellent, high quality good and breathtaking views from serene location. Would definitely recommend - make sure you call ahead for outside table.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful viewThere aren't many places that can rival the astonishing view at the Elements. We were seated in an area that was inside but with wide open windows giving us the benefits of hearing the birds and smelling the flowers. It was an 88 year old's birthday and they brought her a special dessert that was exceptional. The service was a bit slow, however, we had a relaxed and very pleasant afternoon. I have been to the Elements for Easter Brunch and for a girl's special lunch as well as for drinks at night. It is always special.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMbirthdayWe came here for my wife's birthday as we were visiting from Chicago. Not to mention, Chef MacMillan is a great chef we had seen on the Food Network. The food was outstanding and scenery was beautiful. The calamari was not like anything I had eaten before.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOur experience at ElementsOur experience at Elements was nothing short of excellent. Great service, great food and great ambience! We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and the server made the experience as special as possible. Highly recommended!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food with a viewTerrific food and service. Unusually good wine list and reasonable as well. View is unmatched in Phoenix. Awesome outside bar as well.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMTo Die ForEverything the reviews said it would be. Beautiful Asian infusion in to American classics.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful backdrop and great foodThis view was a nice treat coming from Chicago. Going here for a drink during sunset is a must. The food was very tasty and service attentive. Coming from Chicago we're not new to great cuisine, but Elements delivered on all fronts of a wonderful dining experience.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDessert was lack luster. And,Dessert was lack luster. And, my wine had a great deal of sediment in it. The waiter tried to tell me it was sugar...hmmm, ya right.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAn absolute must visit!Beautiful view, thoughtful food. If you can, try to catch the sunset. The food is truly thoughtful and carefully prepared without pretense. An absolute must visit.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent and worth every penny! My husband and I stayed on the grounds for a weekend get away and ate dinner at Elements. I have a gluten intolerance and my server went above and beyond in helping me navigate through the menu. The food was exceptional and we had an amazing evening. We. Will be coming back for sure!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful !The view, service and food were all superb! We could not have asked for a more wonderful evening.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden GemElements is a wonderful place to dine with excellent food, view ,and all around dining experience.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a great dinner. My girlfriend and I had out two year anniversary dinner. We got to see the sunset on the patio while we waited for our appetizer. It was a great evening. My only complaint was that I had requested a table with a window view and I had to remind them after they tied to put is at one that was set back without much of a view. Overall it's a fantastic place for a romantic dinner.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGo for a martiniAn amazing cantaloupe martini
The food was all super fresh and an I would go again
The server was great.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's day brunch menu hadMother's day brunch menu had a good variety. I ordered the halibut and thought it was OK. Husband ordered the salmon entree and loved it. The rest of the fare was delicious and put together very nicely. Lovely setting with a nice view. Will return.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSanctuary BrunchEverything was very good from the valet who was personable to our table, the hostess suggesting a seat with the best view to the wonderful food. My only suggestion is for the young male server (who did a very good job over all) to not refer to grown women as "girls". He did this repeatedly and it was offensive.
The Sanctuary did an excellent job on the food and the presenration and deserves kudos.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMElements just keeps getting better! The food, service and view were amazing as always!
My husband really enjoyed celebrating his birthday at Elements and
our teenage son thought the restaurant had a good feel!
Excellent staff!!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFine dining with impeccable serviceFrom the service to the food this restaurant has it all. Great for a specical occasion. We enjoyed sitting outside with views of the mountain.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary DinnerWe made a reservation for our anniversary dinner - we were seated at the best table booth in the place - quiet, romantic and everything was perfect! Our waiter, Nathan was the Best! Food was delish!5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMNever a disappointmentElements is superb -- wonderful menu choices and gorgeous views coupled with thoughtful service. This time the servers were not quite as polished as usual but they were still head and shoulders above anyplace else.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceLocated on the side of Camelback Mountain, Elements offers New American menus with an Asian accent. The menus are extensive and very creative. The brunch isn't cheap but the food is definitely upscale and worth the price. Service is friendly and attentive and the view is wonderful.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBest dining experienceProbably the best dining experience we've had since moving to Arizona in 1997. Beau MacMillan is deserving of Iron chef competitor as every course was memorable. Oysters are a must along with melt in your mouth steak. Don't pass up this spot.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMDespite noting in our OpenDespite noting in our Open Table reservation that it was our anniversary and that we wished for a table with a view, we were initially seated at a table right next to the serving station and adjacent to a large party along the bar noisily celebrating a birthday. However, once we asked to be seated at another table, we were moved to a much quieter location with much more privacy. Subsequently the wait staff was very attentive, the food was delicious, and the sunset view was terrific.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial SpotA special evening. The food was outstanding, the setting magnificent and the service was attentive but not intrusive. while there were a lot of people in the restaurant, it was still quite easy to carry on a conversation, which is important to us. The menu was inventive and although many of us ordered the same thing (Sea Bass and Kale Salad with a Foie Gras for the table), there were many other choices. Our server, Nathan, was helpful.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I had an amazingMy wife and I had an amazing time at Elements for our wedding anniversary. Every staff member we encountered was so helpful and friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgable and his suggestions from wine to food were right on and wonderful. The view and the entire property is just beautiful. Can't wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful night. Wow I sound like I work for the place but honestly I don't and this is not only the first time I have eaten here it is also the first time I have ever commented on a site.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall a very good restaurant.Overall a very good restaurant. Outside patio was very crowded and service was poor. Waited 30 minutes to get a drink. Tuna tower was more avocado than tuna, but filet and sea bass were exceptional.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Scottsdale retreat treatWent with 2 friends on our retreat weekend. Best food of the stay for this picky trio from nyc sfo and boston. We had the calamari (my favorite) and tuna apps. Salmon (nice), rib eye special (good cut but flavor masked a bit by mesquite) & filet in bacon (very good). Peanut butter dessert awesome - mason jar good. Go 15 min before sunset to take in the scenery from the patio with drink in hand - our evening was made better by prosecco from the start ;). The only negative was the awkward flow of sections with captains table blocking the flow to outdoors - they need some feng shui help here. That said - the place was hopping and is a local favorite.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMA Dining and Scenery DelightElements at the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is a real treat! Every aspect of a client's comfort and pleasure is dealt with seamlessly and professionally, from the seating process through the meal and to the departure! The position of the setting sun is even taken into consideration in ensuring our comfort. The two of us ordered different appetizers and entrees and were thoroughly delighted with all of them. They were recommended by our excellent server, Sean, who was very knowledgeable regarding each item on the menu and what might best suit our tastes. We will surely return on our next visit to Phoenix.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMA bit over priced, food wasA bit over priced, food was good, not GREAT. The happy hour was better than the meal. Service was a bit of a let down. Would go back but only to bring out of town guests to show how beautiful and only for the happy hour.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful views across theWonderful views across the valley, very good food and service.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best!! FlawlessOne of the best!!
Flawless food and service with incredible views of Paradise Valley AZ.
Got to meet Chef Beau which was the perfect ending to a perfect dining experience.
This restaurant is a must for anyone visiting the Phoenix/Scottsdale area looking for a great evening.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience. PerfectGreat experience. Perfect view for our 1st anniversary celebration. Server went out of her way to make everything perfect!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMRepeats are neededKeep going back every visit tonScottsdale. Scenery and food both amazing, a do over..and over.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMabsolutely delicious foodabsolutely delicious food and spectacular view. We weren't very hungry when we arrived (appetizers at our hotel) so we each only had one course. Chicken was unbelieveably good, cripsy with delicious sauce. Bread was the best we've ever had, hot with a very crisp crust. Only off things were: they said our choice of entrees meant a 25 min wait, and they appeared about 2 minutes later, and the person who ordered 2 small courses instead of an entree was served both at once, even though asked if she wanted one first and one later. However, nothing could mar the experience of great food and4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMDon't Miss!Spectacular views! Great selection of delectable food! Excellent service!
Best Brunch I have had in AZ.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe enjoyed our meal, especiallyWe enjoyed our meal, especially the beautiful view. The plain sour dough bread with plain olive oil was a little disappointing. An interesting bread, butter, oil or spread would have been nice. We had a good meal, but being from the NY area, I would rate the food as average for a high end restaurant. The service was great and overall we would recommend Elements.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWas disappointd in the locationWas disappointd in the location of the table...sun was I our eyes all night...we were not in the main dining room. The table was too small.
Our waiter was only ok...tried to rush with the bill. We would not go back and our bill for 4 was almost 700 dollars4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely fabulous. BeauAbsolutely fabulous. Beau MacMillan is by far the best chef in AZ.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
