Great view of marina, excellent seafood choices and quality! We went for dinner for our first time and liked so well we changed our reservations that we had at another Resturant two nights later and went back. The second time we brought another couple with us.

We just wish we could take it back to San Diego with us!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMVery pleasant atmosphere.Very pleasant atmosphere. Maybe the best crabcakes I've had - minimal filler and tasty sauce.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place fr dining withGreat place fr dining with the exception of the live music. Very very loud and noisy. Either ave a bar scene with love music or a quiet dining place. You cannot combine the two4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe thoroughly ejoyed our meal.We thoroughly ejoyed our meal. The fish was fresh, the Ceviche was perfectly cured and delicious. The atmosphere was energetic and lively, but not loud. Our group will definitely be back when we are in Hilton Head again this Summer.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMLobster bisque is outstanding.Lobster bisque is outstanding. Other preparations done well.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMShelter Cove gemWe ate out on the deck, overlooking shelter cove harbor, with the yachts and night lighting. Food, service, and wine were all excellent. Wine was reasonably priced. Great place, quiet4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMTim from PAEla's was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good, well prepared and sufficient portions. The staff worked well together and were very attentive. The only very minor issue was the voice noise when filled. This was not a real issue, but noticeable. The filet mignon was outstanding.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had asked for an outdoorWe had asked for an outdoor table (it rained) or a scenic indoor one as it was a birthday celebration. We were very pleased to be accommodated at a second floor window table with a great view. Food was, as usual, excellent as was the service. Only small drawback was a very loud table near us in a relatively small space. They too were celebrating and it did not significantly influence a very nice experience. Have never been disappointed there.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely view, interesting menuWe were seated at an outside table as per request. It's lovely. Temps cooled off as the evening progressed, but a torch / heater helped a lot. I ordered Lobster Ceviche Martini, Beef Carpaccio with arugula and shaved parmesan, and wild mushroom risotto. My spouse ordered the Pear - Gorgonzola - arugula sald with horseradish dressing, and the catch of the day - a pan-fried Grouper steak (is that what you call it?) with vegetables. They served me the shrimp ceviche (a special) vs. the lobster, but the shrimp ceviche was zesty and delicious, so I ate it anyway. The pear-gorgonzola-arugula salad had no pears. Beef carpaccio great. Risotto too rich for me (too much butter), but good mushroom flavor. Excellent grouper.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMA great place.Went to have wine and mixed appetizers with a friend. Great wine selection. The appetizers were imaginative and tasted very good. The harbor view is excellent. Service was truly outstanding ... friendly, accommodating and professional. The entrees looked excellent but we stopped with wine, appetizers and desert. I do not doubt that if we had a main course the rating would have been five stars ...4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and the atmosphereThe food and the atmosphere was simply outstanding. I sent another couple there the following night and they came back with the same review.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable Easter LunchWe booked Ela's at the last minute because it was listed on OpenTable and we didn't have a plan for Easter. We had a great time and the food for fantastic. The restaurant's location on the water and on the second floor gives almost all the tables a good view of Shelter Cove. Sam, our waiter, was very knowledgeable and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. We will come back, probably during the evening to see the cove at night. In warmer weather, I'd recommend an outside table.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGo!The staff was completely accommodating to my guest and myself. A wonderful experience, and Tim Malchak is the perfect singer for their live entertainment. Would definitely go again!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service was excellent. The food and service was excellent. Will recommed. My 6 year old granddaughter was with us and they have a short but very adequate children's menu. Now that the time has changed, we had the opportunity to look over the harbor at Shelter Cover. I will try it again when it is warmer so that we can sit outside on the balcony.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had Christmas Eve dinnerWe had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was very special.
