Chefs Jason Cichonski and Chip Roman have partnered to open Ela, an inventive new American bar and restaurant in the city’s Queen Village neighborhood.
Ela will be the showcase for 27-year-old Jason Cichonski, who Philadelphia Inquirer’s Craig LaBan called “one of our most exciting young chefs,”
… where he will combine an approachable menu of innovative dishes with an extensive wine and craft beer program and an inspired cocktail list in a rustic-modern setting.
Ela’s design features dark wood paneling, custom steel ceiling fans, whitewashed brick walls and metal-and-glass shelving behind the bar, housing everything from their unusual wines and liquors to house-cured specialities.
