El SacromonteDelicious! We've eaten here three times now and each time the food has been excellent!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGourmet MexicanVery good. The glazed duck was superb. Mango ceviche also great, if a little light on (identifiable) fish and served with a grocery store, pre-fried tortilla shell. What's with that? Make a tortilla! I do at home!
The chicken mole was good, but not great. Slightly bland, the grandma's taste buds must have faded over the years!
Service was perfectly attentive. Neighboring restaurants packed, this one 50% on a Friday. Not sure why. Way better than the American fair up and down the street.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary dinnerMy husband and I both ordered steaks, tournadoes and tequila fillet. Mine was ordered as "rare". A few minutes into the meal, which was simply delicious the waiter (Alfredo) asked if everything was alright. I told him that my steak was medium rather than rare. He offered to get me another meal. Since I was half into it and enjoying it I told him "no thank you".. A few minutes later another full dinner arrived for me to either eat there or take home. I was totally surprised at the gesture. The service was truly excellent and non intrusive. The whole meal was most enjoyable and I would come back here again. Also will recommend the restaurant to others.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAn Excellent FindEl Sacramonte is an excellent restaurant with many choices. The staff is friendly and the service is impeccable. This is one of the best dining establishments in the Tri-Valley area and I plan to come here more often. This place is a gem of a restaurant and look forward to visiting this location more often.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOur friends visiting fromOur friends visiting from LA were extremely impressed with the food and the atomsphere. We had the lamb shank and ribs. The food was excellent as always. Service was great and our waiter was very attentive.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is one of the hiddenThis is one of the hidden gems in the burgeoning Livermore restaurant scene. Outstanding steakhouse with a Mexican twist to how they prepare their entrees and appetizers. This is authentic food direct from Guadalajara, not your standard Mexican fare. Best margaritas in town and a very hip bar scene. Try El Sacromonte, you will not be disappointed.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Chicken with Mole SauceThe Chicken with Mole Sauce was outstanding. I organized a business group from out of town and this was just delightful. It was a memorable meal.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMI just love this place!El Sacromonte is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I love sitting outdoors on the streets of Livermore, people watching and, from time to time, vintage cars rolling by. That happened to be the case when we visited two nights ago. It was a warm evening and the people were out on the streets, shopping and dining, and at the same time a number of vintage cars were driving by.
My wife and I tried the Tres Salsa Steak which gives you the option of different types of steaks, along with three different sauces. I had the ribeye steak while my wife had the filet mignon. Both were tender and tasty and the accompanying sauces just added to the overall experience. We also tried the Roquefort soup, which is a must-have.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply Amazing! We have been meaning to try El Sacromente since they opened, but we never got around to it, until this weekend that is.

Very quiet, not many others while we were there, but that was at 5:30.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
