El MansourGreat timeThe combination of everything made for a memorable and fun experience worth repeating. The servers were kind and accommodating. The food was tasty though the delivery from course to course seemed rushed (better than taking too long I suppose!). The belly dancer was the icing on the cake - good at working the crowd and easy on the eyes.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGraduation PartyAll 18 of us enjoyed a vibrant and fun-filled evening at El Mansour.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWe're not in The City anymore. This is a kool spot for a romantic dinner, group event or just try something new. The ambiance is super kool. The walls and ceilings are covered in Moroccan inspired material. You'll actually feel like your eating in a desert oasis. There's also a belly dancer! You are also encouraged to eat with your hands, but have the option to eat with silverware. Finally, what's really important. The food I'd YUMMY !5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWhen only the very best will doApart from actually being in Morocco everything was truly authentic .
The server greeted us with a smile that instantly made me feel very welcomed.
There was a wonderful feeling in the atmosphere as if being in the home of a beloved friend.
Our server was so relaxed yet professional that his timing on everything , including his attention to detail, was brilliant. He cared for each and every one of us, his patrons. We truly felt loved and very special by this wonderful person.
The food was so perfect in every way, appearance , auroma , texture and flavor, that there is nowhere else in the city of San Francisco to rival it. I believe that someone , somewhere has to be the best and this restaurant , El Mansour , is it !!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMAn Arabian Night in San FranciscoThis restaurant was recommended by a SF City College student, who was born in Morocco. She said that it was a unique experience, and that was an understatement. The El Mansour is very well hidden, a block off Geary, in the Richmond District. We entered the simple door and came into a Moroccan sultans tent. Imagine coming in out of the cold fog, on quiet residential street into a scene out of Lawrence of Arabia. The decoration, music, server and belly dancing all created the illusion. The food was authentic, good and plentiful. Early on a Tuesday night, we were the only patrons, so the belly dancer performed only for us. We felt like rahonored guests or perhaps characters in Arabian Nights. It was a unique and delightful evening.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFun place, especially withFun place, especially with group. Good food. (el-Mansour is the best Moroccan restaurant in SF. It is reasonably priced considering the outstanding food, service, and atmosphere.
Very friendly staff that clearly works very hard!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing!!I definitely enjoyed this restaurant! Very vibrant colors and warm feel to the room. It makes you feel like you are inside of a tent and I was about ready for a camel to walk right through the restaurant. The service was amazing with a friendly staff and live talented entertainment! I would definitely return and suggest this spot to everyone looking for a great place to dine is San Fransisco!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful surprise! We were very surprised with the ambiance. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. I would highly recommend it.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of my Go To placesMy go to Morrocan restaurant. Enough said! From the moment you walk in you are transported to another land of genies and silk and velvet cushions and magic carpets. Best place to go for couscous and tagines, birthday celebration, family dinner, and the most beautiful belly dancer. One of my favorite places!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThe ambience at El MansourThe ambience at El Mansour is great especially when there is a live belly dancer performer. However, the food is just ok and nothing too small. My entree was served lukewarm as though it had been sitting on the counter for a while. I would go back for the show but not the food.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was very good, withThe food was very good, with unique flavors and spices. The service was friendly and efficient.
