"Good food; but for the price, service could have been a bit better. We made reservations for 3 and when we were sat, the table was only prepared for 2. When 1st and 2nd courses arrived they were just plopped down in a way where the juice actually splashed. The server spilled wine on the table and while accidents happened, when paying $100 a bottle and he spilled a glass - some type of compensation should have been given. Good food was really the only thing that saved the experience. High 5 for the kitchen staff."

"Terrific food and service here, but this large room is SO noisy and dark, our party had trouble conversing and there were only 4 of us. Portions are very generous, I'm still enjoying my leftovers! Our son chose El Gaucho for his 30th birthday dinner and loved every minute of it. His less well hearing parents, not so much."

"Great experience from the moment we walked through the doors. It was surprising to see how dark the restaurant was, however, it added to the fun - The wait staff were warm and attentive without being overbearing. The food was what we were hoping for and more. Our party of 4 all ordered steaks, but different types. Wonderful flavor, tender and cooked exactly right."

"Overall I thought El Gaucho was great. The food and service is great. If i did have one complaint its that the lighting is too low. They have little flashlights for each table so that you can read the menu, but i think it would be better if they just turned up the lights a bit. That's only a minor issue though and we had a great time there. Would definitely recmond it."

"I don't typically go to steakhouses, as I'm not a huge steak fan. However, I rec'd a gift certificate for El Gaucho, so I went for an early V-day dinner. The atmosphere was great, very dark when you first enter and you are given a little flashlight to view the menu (not sure if this is standard). The dinner started off with fresh garlic bread (which I warned the g/f not to fill up on). The servers gave great service. The food was also great. We saved some room for dessert, but were unaware that a huge fruit and nut tray would come after the meal (also not sure if this is standard, but if so, a cool feature). The dessert was also top notch, and as we waddle out the door, we were left with a pleasant experience and would go back again."
