We love going to El Diablo! The food was excellent, as usual. We do wish that El Diablo would invest in some noise panels: it's such a great room, but the noise level can be too much. They've done an excellent job on the decor and the "feel" of the room, but the acoustics have been ignored. Love the Papi, could do without the noise.

We visited on a Friday over happy hour/dinner. While the food and drinks were good, the noise level was shocking. We had to shout ourselves hoarse in order to hear each other and my ears were (literally--not exaggerating) ringing afterwards as if I'd been to a concert. I've been in bars with live bands that weren't this loud.

Went to special event guest chef dinner with Travis Messervey and another chef from Beatrice and Woodsley. Food was AMAZING - foodie heaven. Restaurant is attractive inside, but unbelievably loud.

Third time is a charm, other two times come with mixed reviews. Keep trying El Diablo because they are trying to tap into the Mexican culinary and mixology explosion that is advancing across the globe. While it has the right ideas, execution has been uneven. Having just returned from a culinary trip to Oaxaca, I was ready to give their moles and Ron Cooper Mezcal one more try. This time, I was impressed by the rich and mellow flavor of the Mole Rojo, guacamole was well done, husband said Salmon was better than before, nephew added lots of salt to Pecho de Res, claiming flavor was lacking. Keep at it El Diablo,you are getting there. Denver needs a great Mexican restaurant that can compare to Frontera Grill in Chicago, or Fonda in NYC

Service was super friendly, helpful and patient. Food was very good and generous portions. Seating area was cramped and the tables and chairs reminded me of an old cafeteria. Figured I should try the margarita and found it not nearly as impressive as the $7.50 price tag. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend to all.

We love the food at El Diablo and it's a fun place to meet friends and hang out. They seem to be a bit shy with the alcohol in their mixed drinks but their margs are good and they have a decent beer menu.
