Despite the chaos at the front where those without reservations were trying to get in, we were sat immediately at our reservation time and had a nice table downstairs which is much better and has a cool ambiance (upstairs is very loud). It was a little chilly when we got downstairs (many of the other customers were wearing jackets) so we said something to the manager who fixed it immediately. We had the carne asada and the chipotle shrimp both of which were tremendous. Ask your server for a recommendation of tequila and give it a shot (literally and figuratively). Finding very good food in DC is difficult.
