Diner Reviews
  • "neighborhood spot with families...great for a casual night out with friends"

  • "I absolutely ADORE Peruvian food and was extremely excited to enjoy a delicious plateful of ceviche. As soon as we entered (a special friend and I), I immediately regretted my decision. This place was too small and cramped for comfort. We were sandwiched into a corner and watched everyone being offered water except for us. The waitress took our order and being optimistic, expected our experience to trump the awful first impression we received. Once she plopped my ceviche and my date's bistec a lo pobre onto our child sized table, we were completely ignored. We were left without condiments & drink refills, but cheap cuts of meat. Although my ceviche was tasty, the steak was subpar. Never have I felt so invisible. This was a disappointment."

  • "El Anzuelo Fino has great Peruvian food. This is a small restaurant but if you want to eat authentic Peruvian food, come here, you won't be disappointed. Staff is very friendly and alway accomodating. Prices are excellent - very affordable."

  • "A storefront joint on Jamaica Ave, that roasts chicken perfectly. And the accompanying rise and beans and plantains were perfect touch. Fried snapper was very good as was the the roast duck (only on weekends). If they would only tone down the blaring television set, the experience would be even better. The food is very good and the prices are right, and the staff is very nice."
