Diner Reviews
  • "Celebrated my 30th birthday there this past weekend. I could have chosen anywhere in the entire city but Einstein's is definitely my favorite"

  • "I LOVED my burger. I also really enjoyed my side: the citrus-marinated beets. My draft beer was cold in a frosted glass. The patio was super. The hostess was great. My server was very, very good. My husband enjoyed his veggie plate with four deluxe sides. His Tanqueray and tonic was not accompanied with a lime (served by the assistant server). Our friend enjoyed her Cobb salad. Her wine arrived in a glass not really clean. This was immediately fixed by hostess with a new, fresh glass of wine. She was mischarged for the wrong wine; however, the server corrected that immediately upon notification."

  • "We would go back. It offers a variety of food so it suits all tastes: salad to sandwich to steak. We really enjoyed our time there."

  • "Unfortunately, the restaurant's power and telephone were knocked out due to a storm in the area and we were not able to attend. Love this place, though!"

  • "What a great location in midtown, huge patio, shaded by huge old trees. Drinks were cold, good size and strength. Appetizer mussels were mixed. some juicy and plump, some dried out. Skewered grilled fish & veggies over quinoa was great. Ice tea marinated fried chicken was a pounded boneless breast, crispy and juicy, served with house cut chips and Mrs Kensington ketchup (for the ketchup snobs). Wife's cobb salad was huge, fresh, and yummy. Ice cream cake dessert was good. Service was attentive, manager made somee trips to each table. Seems like a great brunch spot."

  • "AC was not working! Hot beer in a cold glass; red wine tasted like it hadbeen sitting in the sun; my chicken tadted like it had been re-heated. i was up galf the night with nauseau! Dours with lemon twist was served with a lemon wedge! Manager tried to make it right, but too late!"

  • "We went at Einstein's for brunch and were seted under a wonderful tree. Food and service are very good. Music was a bit too loud for us. We will go back. Highly recommended"

  • "Food was very mediocre. Ambiance inside seemed very dated. Restaurant was warm."

  • "We were in town for the market and have not been there in several years. We decided to try it again and the evening was perfect for outdoor dining The food was good however I would not recommend the steak. It was pretty tough. I couldn't hardly cut through it. The service was really good and all an all we had a good time."

  • "Found Einstein's after mutliple trips to the Midtown area. Had dinner on the patio and brought a group of clients back the next day for lunch. Couldn't have been better. Staff was professional and service was great. The food was execptional and would highly recommend the pepperjack grits!!!"

  • "Just make sure it's after 12:30pm, if you want to enjoy their famous Bloody Mary bar. When we dined there, the bar wasn't available so we ordered the house Bloody Mary, which was just okay. We asked for a few items to doctor them up (e.g. tabasco sauce) and that did the trick. The food was excellent. The fried green tomato benedict is my favorite. The breads that come out before your entrée are delicious - pumpkin and poppy seed outdo the usual baguette slices you get at other places. The patio was vibrant and energetic with a big crowd and a DJ playing house music. Service was a bit slow, on account of how busy they were, but we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. We'll be back!"

  • "Great outdoor patio. Service was attentive and friendly. However the food was mediocre."

  • "The menu, food, and service are all excellent, among the best in Atlanta. New creative offerings that taste like old favorites."

  • "Went for brunch and the service was terrible. The food was wrong when it came out, server was not on top of handling the issue. Once the manager got involved it got even worse. He was very sarcastic, rude, and quick to a comment, would not consider him or the restaurant very customer friendly."

  • "I have been coming here with my friends for the last 3 years. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. However, I have the same complaint every time...The service is too slow. It seems to be only when we order drinks. So slow in fact that we order our next drink when we actually get our drink."
    Dined on 6/27/2014
  • "Service was slow but the food was good and reasonably priced. Appears to have a very popular bar and patio scene if you are into that and the drink prices are very good. The burgers seem to be the most popular thing on the menu but the other dishes are very good. The grilled pumpkin pound cake (with ice cream) is probably one of the best deserts I've eaten in a long time."

  • "A friend was in town so we went to find a great area to sit outside and have dinner. We found it! After dinner, we walked around and had a drink at another location. But enjoyed our time at Einsteins so much, we came back to have dessert. Even the manager noticed! He remembered us. :)"

  • "We went for brunch and Einsteins was really busy, thanks to Open table we did not wait for a table. Service was good and our brunch experience was uneventful. I recommend Einsteins, just book thru OpenTable."

  • "Favorite place to eat outside. Food is good but not great. Cocktails are very good"
    Dined on 6/22/2014
  • "A fantastic location on a nice day for brunch. Very pleasant service, the food was good, especially the Ixtapa Scramble w Pepper Jack Grits, an overall great place to spend a Sunday morning."
    Dined on 6/22/2014
  • "Food was great, but waiter was very slow to take orders, check on our party, and grab checks. Also, they originally messed up my order but quickly made a new dish and brought it out to me within a few minutes, accompanied by an apology. Bar was extremely noisy and it was hard to hear my friend sitting across the booth from me."
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "The food was about average. They had some interesting choices. The coconut cake was great. The service was BAD. Long to get order in. Long to get food. Order was wrong. Tried to fix it. Got some items-some never showed. Did get free dessert-but took long again."

  • "The fried green tomato benedict is a must-have. I'll be back for that dish!"

  • "I was very pleased with a recent dining experience at Einstein's. I had made the reservation and noted that it was for a lunch interview and we would need a table that allowed for discussions. When I arrived at the restaurant they showed us the table and asked if the location suited our needs. Our server Trey was wonderful and his suggestion were spot on."
    Dined on 6/10/2014
  • "I loved the mushroom Brie flatbread and the manchego fritters, but my Jamaican chicken sandwich was a little blah. I think it would be a better experience with a smaller party."
    Dined on 6/7/2014
  • "This is a great little spot for eating outside and just enjoying the local traffic and color. The food is always great and on certain nights, live jazz on the porch makes dining just more fun. Check out their special wine prices on certain days, too! Staff and waiters work overtime to make your dining experience memorable!"
    Dined on 6/3/2014
  • "This was my third time dining here (once for brunch, twice for dinner) and I've been underwhelmed each time. The pulled duck grilled cheese was flavorless and the mussels were, without a doubt, the worst mussels I have ever had. The waiter never asked how our food was and delivered our checks before I could send anything back. The rest of my group ordered burgers and seemed happy with them."

  • "The brunch menu is delicious and our service was fantastic. This is definitely one of my new favorites!"

  • "Very inexperienced waiter assigned. Really should have been with a training assistant. Unacceptable wait time for food. Mains came out same time as salad course. Mgmt was asked to intervene. Not much changed. Will reassess visiting this particular Metrotainment restaurant in future. "

  • "We gave Einstein's another shot after a poor experience a few months ago, and sadly this once great restaurant is still sub-par. Service was horribly slow, the food was overpriced for what we got, and the restrooms are still pretty ghetto. This place used to be so great; I always took out of town guests here and even went myself at least once a week. We gave you another shot, but you won't get another."

  • "Einstein's has been a fave for years! But Sunday's food quality, quantity and presentation was terrible. Yes, we had a large group and we were grateful to be taken care of, but the food looked like it was slopped on the plates by a kid. For example, two tiny fried green tomatoes with a slab of grits on a much too big, too white plate. No garnishments, no color, and basically no food. I really doubt I'll go back to my old fave unless things get straightened out and they send me a voucher. Heartbroken. So many great memories."

  • "First timer at Einsteins and it was wonderful!! I had the E Club sandwich and it was yummy. Many in our party had one of their hamburgers and their plates were empty. Love the fact, you can make reservations, which is huge on the weekends. There is Valet parking - another plus in Midtown. I will definitely be back to try one of the omelets....cuz the breads they brought us were excellent too. Ideal spot to gather for friends coming from the South and North. Brandon was a superb waiter - nice guy."

  • "One of the best brunch places that I have tried. And trust me, I"ve tried dozens in Atlanta! Fried Green tomatoes are perfect and the crab omelette is to die for. The service is incredible....but my favorite thing was the patio dining. Great for people watching! Prices are reasonable and its definitely a spot i will return to!"

  • "I've been to Einstein's three times for brunch now, and it is wonderful. The prices are on point and the food is DELICIOUS. You definitely get what you pay for and more. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. I can't wait to try out the lunch/dinner menu. The only con would be that it can get very loud during the rush hours, but I suppose you can't control that. Overall, A+."

  • "They were clearly trying to train a new server on our table and obviously our actual server was overloaded and distracted. We were only given a server once my friend asked for one after about ten minutes. We didn't even get waters until we had been sitting at the table for twenty minutes! We repeatedly had to ask for basic things, and my friend's order came out wrong, which admittedly may have been a kitchen error but considering how harried our server was, I'm more inclined to believe was due to her forgetfulness. A manager came by as we were finishing up and asked how everything was and my friend told him the service was appalling, and all he offered us was a new server - which, what is the point as we were basically done with our food? "

  • "As always, Einstein's is a perfect place for Saturday or Sunday brunch. There seemed to be quite a few different events in Atlanta this past weekend and their attendees were in full force at Einstein's on Saturday. This caused a bit of service let down but overall the food and energy on the patio was great. I had the smoked turkey egg white omelette which was great and my colleague enjoyed the turkey burger done hillbilly. Both were great choices."
