Diner Reviews
  • "Great outdoor patio. Service was attentive and friendly. However the food was mediocre."

  • "The menu, food, and service are all excellent, among the best in Atlanta. New creative offerings that taste like old favorites."

  • "Service was slow but the food was good and reasonably priced. Appears to have a very popular bar and patio scene if you are into that and the drink prices are very good. The burgers seem to be the most popular thing on the menu but the other dishes are very good. The grilled pumpkin pound cake (with ice cream) is probably one of the best deserts I've eaten in a long time."

  • "Went for brunch and the service was terrible. The food was wrong when it came out, server was not on top of handling the issue. Once the manager got involved it got even worse. He was very sarcastic, rude, and quick to a comment, would not consider him or the restaurant very customer friendly."

  • "A friend was in town so we went to find a great area to sit outside and have dinner. We found it! After dinner, we walked around and had a drink at another location. But enjoyed our time at Einsteins so much, we came back to have dessert. Even the manager noticed! He remembered us. :)"

  • "I have been coming here with my friends for the last 3 years. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. However, I have the same complaint every time...The service is too slow. It seems to be only when we order drinks. So slow in fact that we order our next drink when we actually get our drink."

  • "A fantastic location on a nice day for brunch. Very pleasant service, the food was good, especially the Ixtapa Scramble w Pepper Jack Grits, an overall great place to spend a Sunday morning."

  • "We went for brunch and Einsteins was really busy, thanks to Open table we did not wait for a table. Service was good and our brunch experience was uneventful. I recommend Einsteins, just book thru OpenTable."

  • "Favorite place to eat outside. Food is good but not great. Cocktails are very good"

  • "Food was great, but waiter was very slow to take orders, check on our party, and grab checks. Also, they originally messed up my order but quickly made a new dish and brought it out to me within a few minutes, accompanied by an apology. Bar was extremely noisy and it was hard to hear my friend sitting across the booth from me."

  • "The fried green tomato benedict is a must-have. I'll be back for that dish!"

  • "The food was about average. They had some interesting choices. The coconut cake was great. The service was BAD. Long to get order in. Long to get food. Order was wrong. Tried to fix it. Got some items-some never showed. Did get free dessert-but took long again."

  • "As is usually the case, the service was awful. The waitress complained constantly about working too long that day and being tired when she would forget our drinks or condiments. It took over 40 minutes to get our drinks and mine came out warm, not even chilled (a martini). It was obvious the place was busy and didn't have enough servers."

  • "I was very pleased with a recent dining experience at Einstein's. I had made the reservation and noted that it was for a lunch interview and we would need a table that allowed for discussions. When I arrived at the restaurant they showed us the table and asked if the location suited our needs. Our server Trey was wonderful and his suggestion were spot on."

  • "I loved the mushroom Brie flatbread and the manchego fritters, but my Jamaican chicken sandwich was a little blah. I think it would be a better experience with a smaller party."

  • "This is a great little spot for eating outside and just enjoying the local traffic and color. The food is always great and on certain nights, live jazz on the porch makes dining just more fun. Check out their special wine prices on certain days, too! Staff and waiters work overtime to make your dining experience memorable!"

  • "The brunch menu is delicious and our service was fantastic. This is definitely one of my new favorites!"

  • "This was my third time dining here (once for brunch, twice for dinner) and I've been underwhelmed each time. The pulled duck grilled cheese was flavorless and the mussels were, without a doubt, the worst mussels I have ever had. The waiter never asked how our food was and delivered our checks before I could send anything back. The rest of my group ordered burgers and seemed happy with them."

  • "Once we checked in everything was ready! Food was fantastic!!"

  • "Very inexperienced waiter assigned. Really should have been with a training assistant. Unacceptable wait time for food. Mains came out same time as salad course. Mgmt was asked to intervene. Not much changed. Will reassess visiting this particular Metrotainment restaurant in future. "

  • "We gave Einstein's another shot after a poor experience a few months ago, and sadly this once great restaurant is still sub-par. Service was horribly slow, the food was overpriced for what we got, and the restrooms are still pretty ghetto. This place used to be so great; I always took out of town guests here and even went myself at least once a week. We gave you another shot, but you won't get another."

  • "Einstein's has been a fave for years! But Sunday's food quality, quantity and presentation was terrible. Yes, we had a large group and we were grateful to be taken care of, but the food looked like it was slopped on the plates by a kid. For example, two tiny fried green tomatoes with a slab of grits on a much too big, too white plate. No garnishments, no color, and basically no food. I really doubt I'll go back to my old fave unless things get straightened out and they send me a voucher. Heartbroken. So many great memories."

  • "First timer at Einsteins and it was wonderful!! I had the E Club sandwich and it was yummy. Many in our party had one of their hamburgers and their plates were empty. Love the fact, you can make reservations, which is huge on the weekends. There is Valet parking - another plus in Midtown. I will definitely be back to try one of the omelets....cuz the breads they brought us were excellent too. Ideal spot to gather for friends coming from the South and North. Brandon was a superb waiter - nice guy."

  • "It is a great location. Close to Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens which makes for a great Mother's Day."

  • "I've been to Einstein's three times for brunch now, and it is wonderful. The prices are on point and the food is DELICIOUS. You definitely get what you pay for and more. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. I can't wait to try out the lunch/dinner menu. The only con would be that it can get very loud during the rush hours, but I suppose you can't control that. Overall, A+."

  • "They were clearly trying to train a new server on our table and obviously our actual server was overloaded and distracted. We were only given a server once my friend asked for one after about ten minutes. We didn't even get waters until we had been sitting at the table for twenty minutes! We repeatedly had to ask for basic things, and my friend's order came out wrong, which admittedly may have been a kitchen error but considering how harried our server was, I'm more inclined to believe was due to her forgetfulness. A manager came by as we were finishing up and asked how everything was and my friend told him the service was appalling, and all he offered us was a new server - which, what is the point as we were basically done with our food? "

  • "As always, Einstein's is a perfect place for Saturday or Sunday brunch. There seemed to be quite a few different events in Atlanta this past weekend and their attendees were in full force at Einstein's on Saturday. This caused a bit of service let down but overall the food and energy on the patio was great. I had the smoked turkey egg white omelette which was great and my colleague enjoyed the turkey burger done hillbilly. Both were great choices."

  • "One of the best brunch places that I have tried. And trust me, I"ve tried dozens in Atlanta! Fried Green tomatoes are perfect and the crab omelette is to die for. The service is incredible....but my favorite thing was the patio dining. Great for people watching! Prices are reasonable and its definitely a spot i will return to!"

  • "First class service from the phone call to confirm to the thank you's as we left. Einstein's has grown up in the Atlanta neighborhood as a classic favorite for my family. Taking a group was very easy - the servers made our large table seem intimate and welcome. Kevin, our lead server looked after every detail. Thank you to the entire staff for making our experience a night to remember!"

  • "An energetic and lively atmosphere for anyone seeking a great Sunday brunch on a patio in Midtown Atlanta. While advance reservations for the patio are required, the staff make every attempt to satisfy your dining experience! We will most definitely return!"

  • "Had a wonderful Saturday brunch here. The outdoor seating was the best on a sunny, warm Saturday afternoon. Food was great and service was excellent. Will return "

  • "Took my administrative staff for lunch last week. Two orders had to be returned because kitchen did not correctly fill the orders. The service provided by Francisco was great, however, even after our request to move inside. "

  • "Einstein's is always good but always has a horrible noise problem inside. They have installed fabrics to provide some relief but invariably there almost always one exceptionally loud table. Usually it is one lady that is way over the top. On the bright side it is because everyone seems to be having fun. "

  • "You are greeted with distraction and wait for service. The drinks take forever. All the ice in the whiskey is melted. The wait service is also careless. Staff is running about , but the service is poor. The menu with lots of interesting little plates is choice-filled. But the food- is fair at best. The scallops were not fresh, the salmon farm and antibiotic raised, the kale salad uninteresting, the sandwich overcooked, the flatbread pizza pretty dull. Don't waste your time with this place. Overrated and arrogant management. The fish always stinks from the head on down. "
