A word from Eiko's
Eiko's delivers imaginative twists on traditional Japanese cuisine. Our vision for the menu combines modern and authentic traditional Japanese cuisine including seasonal, fresh sustainable fish and ingredients delivered daily from our local markets and purveyors.

The restaurant's signature design element is an elegant Ipe (ee-pay) wood from Brazil. It separates the main dining room and the lounge. Greeting you as you enter the main dining room are Koi fish painted on the floor. Above the Sushi bar, a 12' x 8' Japanese inscription screen, hand painted by a Buddhist Monk.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "We travel from Florida twice a year to Napa. This is our favorite Asian food. Ivan served us just the other day and did a fabulous job. He was very attentive. Food quality and level of "innovative" is off the charts."

  • "Great food. Great environment. Will eat here again on my next rip."

  • "We ordered the Chile Shrimp, Pork Belly Dumplings, Eiko Roll, Ricky Ricardo Roll, Volcano (or was it Lava?) Roll, New Zealand Roll & another roll I can't remember the name of. All the rolls were delicious. The dumplings were surprisingly light for pork belly which made them absolutely delicious. I was disappointed that they did not have bottles of the Nigori I wanted (Sayuri) but we compensated with a carafe and another sake carafe. We brought my 7 month old in and they had a beautiful high chair waiting for him when we arrived. We may be back for special occasions in the future."

  • "Initially I took my mom to try the Copper River Salmon, however they were out that evening. It was no problem though, there are many other delicious things for her to try. We started with the ceviche and the sake nagiri which are my two favorites! Then we had the Necko Chan and the Ricky Ricardo on vacation. Both great! Of course we sub real crab in everything and leave the tobiko on the side. They do a hand roll with soft shell crab that I wanted her to try so we did. Fantastic. And we finished with the spicy tuna roll which has just enough spice not to overwhelm. The staff at Eikos is great. They always take great care of us. Thanks you guys!"

  • "Eiko's has great sushi, a fun atmosphere and used to be a better price value than Morimoto's. We are Napa locals and would often go out to dinner every Friday night. For my birthday, I suggested Eiko's because we had not been there for a while and was a good price value last Fall. Well, sadly all of Napa Downtown is changing. Yes, it is looking more beautiful with new restaurants and stores filling the empty store fronts. However, it feels as though owners are focusing more on the tourists and increasing prices drastically. So, if you are willing to spend over $150 per couple for drinks & dinner check out Eiko's. "

  • "We had a fantastic mothers day dinner here with mom, grandma and kids. The food, service, wine were all excellent and the atmosphere was nice. Miso soup, spicy edamame, chicken lettuce wraps (without the spice) for grandma along with a delicious array of sashimi and the signature tsunami roll was enjoyed by all. A bottle of ZD Chardonnay (our home wine) only added to an overall very nice evening. We definitely felt spoiled. Thank You! "

  • "By far, Eiko's is one of the best restaurants in Napa. The seafood is amazingly fresh and very creative presentations. Jake the Head Chef always changes it up and comes up with new and creative dishes. The service is wonderful and since we are regulars they treat us as family. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "This place is outrageously expensive. Lunch for 4 was 105. not including tip and we were still starved. Will NOT be going back. Morimoto prices for sub quality food. I will go to Morimoto next time. No more Eikos. Total rip off."

  • "Been coming here for 15 years (originally Fujia out at the Outlet center). Whenever I am treating visitors or for Birthdays this is where I take them. Love the owners and staff."

  • "Great staff. Nini our server was fabulous. Even the Manager Allison was accomodating. The food selection we ordered were perfect. Loved the Bon-bons, ceviche and the 1st grade sashimi. 1st time there and won't be our last. "

  • "I visited Eiko's for my wife's birthday and it did not disappoint, the menu items delicious and portions are plentiful, the 15 spices spare ribs "literally" were falling of the bone they were so tender. Finally to top it all off there is the liquid nitrogen prepared ice cream lollipops, which I won't spill the beans but you just have to experience it not only is it good but a very interesting way to finish off a great meal. Only drawbacks were it was out of the way from the main shops which was a little hike from the stores, and the street was under construction which throws the ambiance a little. However, the inside of the restaurant itself is immaculate and very contemporary, we will definite be back if were in the area!"

  • "Everything is always wonderful! This is my go to for sushi in town. Moderately priced for always great, fresh food."

  • "The menu is outstanding, but most of the wait staff are novice, and seen far and few between. Friday & Sat. have a better staff in past history."

  • "For food enthusiasts, Eiko's Japanese cuisine comes served in a very modern-style atmosphere. Enjoying incredibly delicious and fresh sushi (of which I recommend the Salmon Skin Roll) and smiling after eating one bite is just my way of expressing how much I loved their food. A definite must-try!"

  • "Probably one of the best night spots in Napa. After a great meal you go to the lounge wyhich is remeniscent of L.V. and enjoy the best bartenders in the valley. Young and Vibrant crowd."

  • "The staff is very helpful and friendly. The sushi is always very fresh and delicious! The only issue that I had was that my father had a hard time hearing due to the pretty loud music. It was a Saturday night so I understood, but he had hoped to hear us a little better. We had the ceviche, the sashimi tasting dish, my favorite roll the necho chan and the delicious poki roll. We also had a scallop hand roll that was great. They sent me a dessert as it was my birthday! Can't wait to eat here again."

  • "Great sushi. If you don't want the carbs ask for your sushi rolled in cucumber instead of rice. First time I have had this and it was excellent."

  • "I am a regular at Eiko's. I really like the food and the vibe. The people have taken really great care of me most of the times I have been there. I just want to caution people that Saturday at Eiko's is tricky. They take too many reservations."

  • "Great Sushi. The prices are very reasonable for Napa. Will visit again. The Japanese Buffalo Wings were excellent."

  • "Food was very good, though expensive. Service was excellent but so excellent that it took some of the charm out of it - too efficient - I felt like I was at a big chain restaurant - like I was paying nearly $200 for dinner for two at the spaghetti factory. I loved the TV in the urinal in the men's room."

  • "If you enjoy Japanese food, this is the place to go in Napa. The sushi is always fresh, there are lots of great food choices and the service is always excellent!"

  • "As l"Locals" we at Eiko's 2-3 times each month, and find the food to be fresh and consistent. We especially enjoy the shrimp gyoza appetizer, the tuna "pizza", rainbow roll, and Ricky Ricardo on Vacation roll. The consistency of both food and service have improved over the past two years,, making Eiko's our current favorite of the four restaurant options for sushi in Napa."

  • "We eat here every several weeks for date-night, and have even brought her two young children. This recent experience was a standout- the food was just a little better than usual, which is always very good, but something kicked it up a notch this time. Service is always outstanding. The time we brought our kids, the manager MADE chopstick helpers with a napkin, rubber-bands, and wood chopsticks - completely on her own will. You can't go wrong here."

  • "I'm not big on sushi, but I loved all of the tapas! There were so many delicious choices, I wanted to order them all. Very fun, unique menu. Fantastic service, great ambiance. $10 corkage! Loved it."

  • "We sat at the sushi bar and the sushi was very good. They had the music so loud, however, it was difficult to talk to one another without shouting."

  • "I have visited Eiko's several times - for lunch, a late night dinner, and for the bar. It is a great place to grab some Sushi downtown. On this occasion I was meeting a friend for lunch. We were able to enjoy a great conversation and loved the Bento Box for lunch."

  • "My late Saturday night dinner was marred by the loud music from the attached bar, as well and the screaming and shouting from the same location. I understand that it was Sat night, but I came to the restaurant for a meal, not to the bar. Horrible electronic music blared throughout the space. Service was ok. A little slow at the end of the meal, but that may have been clouded by the fact that I was ready to GET OUT. 2 small glasses of sake (2 oz pours each), 2 sushi rolls and some tempura was about $75, including tip. I just wish that I had enjoyed it more."

  • "As a local Eikos is my go to spot for great Sushi and special occasions!"
    Dined on 12/4/2013
  • "Fun, energetic ambiance with a good social scene. Excellent hamachi, maguro and irresistible kobe potstickers. The seaweed salad was slightly overdressed but it had good flavor and texture. Reccomended for 20-30 somethings."
    Dined on 11/27/2013
  • "It is obviously a trendy and vibrant restaurant. Great decor and service. Would give them 5 starts but the food (like sushi rolls and mochi) was just ok for the high price. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely go back for a fun night out!"

  • "What a birthday treat! The Nitrogen Ice Cream Lollipops made table side for desert were such fun and very delicious. Excellent wines by the glass. Service and food was good."
    Dined on 11/3/2013
  • "We ordered a nice variety of items... Favorite was the roll... They have many to choose from. The tempura was just perfect. The duck confit fried rice a wee bit salty, but quite tasty... Service was superb...and we tried the chocolate dessert.... Fabulous! We will definitely go again!"

  • "The food was great but the service was lacking. The busser seemed awkward every time he was at the table. Also there were many times that we were without water for over 5 minutes or longer."

  • "Great sushi joint for lunch or dinner. Does not disappoint!"
