Edulis RestaurantIncredibleMy partner and I had an amazing experience at Edulis! We don't eat pork and that fact was relayed to our server which allowed her to suggest the best foods for us. Choosing from the a la carte menu is great, but letting the chef choose your courses is something I would recommend. Not a single plate was disappointing!10/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe EST Dining Experience inTorontoSo this meal was off the chats... we did the 5 course meal and it could not have been more amazing. How do they do it?? The meal is unique delicious and perfectly done. Homemade herring - feels like it just came out of the ocean...? Dessert here is always something that I would NEVER order on my own on a big dessert menu and every time it is.. how could I have seconds.. The duck was perfect. I think what marks this place as amazing is that every dish is complex yet delicious...9/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic experienceWe ordered the chef's 7 course tasting menu and we were delighted with the dishes that came out. The 5 course would have been enough food for me, but we wanted the opportunity to try as many dishes as possible. Seafood lovers would have enjoyed the dishes on this night as the first 4 dishes included fish.
Servers are friendly and do a great job of explaining the dishes and answering questions.
I liked the soft French music playing, and it was obvious that our neighbouring table also enjoyed it.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing evening at EdulisMy husband and I ate at Edulis to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I had tweeted that we were celebrating our anniversary by dining there and we were greeted with a Happy Anniversary upon our arrival. We were given a fantastic table by the window and received excellent service from the moment we arrived. We decided to go for the Carte Blanche menu which is a multi course meal of chef's choice dishes. Each course was fantastic and portioned just right. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine that we adore and hadn't been able to find anywhere for a couple of years. We were treated to an extra dessert in honour of our anniversary which was a fantastic extra touch. Simply amazing!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Rainy Day Sunday Lunch.Perfect Rainy Day Sunday Lunch. Food was spectacular!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden Gem in the heart of TorontoShhh, please don't tell too many people about this tiny, charming wonderful restaurant. We've been trying to get a reservation for ages and finally snagged a table. It was worth the wait. I feel like I am eating somewhere other than Toronto. Maybe at a small country inn or in the hearty of the West Village in New York. Everything from the fantastic homemade bread to each course of the chefs tasting was delectable. The small menu at $50 ,is great value and Toronto's finest meal. If you are feeling really hungry there is a larger $70 meal. Looking forward to dining outside when the weather warms up. This should be Joanne Kates number one for Toronto's best of her 100 picks!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFantasticFantastic, food, fantastic service. Sunday brunch was amazing.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMEdulis is why you eat outWhat can I say, great resto, very different innovative food, the sort of food you could never make at home. We had the tasting menu for $50 and it was outstanding. The dessert was one of the best I've ever had, great portion sizes so you're not stuffed by the end of the meal either.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMknowledgeable server helpedknowledgeable server helped make the dinner memorable - guided us as to tasting menu and wine selection.
