  • "The decor was charming and the wait staff was excellent. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The seasoning was bland on everything we had. It was almost as if the substitute chef was there. We went early on a Wednesday night so maybe that was it. I hope they get ther act together again because as a Mexico afficionada I have heard about this restaurant for years and would like it to regain what seems like once was a superb menu. I guess the painful part is they charge like a five star restaurant."

  • "I love the colorful setting. I pleasantly surprised not to find the usual everyday Mexican fare. The tuna was cooked to perfection, the marinate and sauce on the steak was tangy with the right amount of heat. If I have one comment it is that the appetizer portions are entrees size. I wish I could finished off the meal with a dessert but it was not possible."

It was not very busy but the service was poor our waiter was more intent on making jokes then taking care of our needs. The appetizers he recommended were not very good as one of the specials. When we were ready to leave we had to ask for our bill three times. We have decided to put the resturant on the five year list."

Delicious, fresh Mexican cuisine with a European flair. . .lots of layering of tastes in your mouth! The Yellowfin cooked both ways was wonderful, and the cilantro soup was outstanding. . .just the right kick at the end!! Didn't try the margaritas made with agave wine, but the wine list was good. No chocolate on the desert menu. . .our waiter said Valentine's Day had wiped them out. Only flaw?--No extra effort made by the restaurant to bring us a special desert even though they knew it was our daughter's birthday. It's how you finish, Eduardo's. . ."

As a Mexican - born and raised - I will gladly tell you this is NOT your typical US-version of Mexican food so you won't find chips-and-salsa, burritos, or fajitas - nor did we miss them! EdSA will give you a smart mix of some very unique Mexican dishes (cilantro soup, cuitlacoche crêpes) along with international dishes accurately dressed with Mexican spices (beef tenderloin with chipotle sauce, mahi-mahi over a bed of mixed chiles). If you have a fine palate that is willing to be surprised with a creative mix of Mexican spices and traditional dishes, this is your spot."

My pork chop was apparently not grilled but rather microwaved and had what appeared to be fake "grill marks". The gloppy sauce added further insult to the tough as shoe leather chop. My dining partner's shrimp was over cooked, smothered in gloppy sauce and quite ordinary. The best tastes of the evening were the breads. Prices for both food and wine were not in line with the quality."

  • "the food was good, but it didn't blow me away. and for the price, it should have. i had the stuffed filet mignon. the center not heated through. so the cheese was not melted. there was no sear on the meat, was a gray color, with tomatillo dollop on top. not visually appealing dish. if you eat with your eyes don't select this dish. If i do come back i would probably have the carnitas again, and try the duck. the carnitas were very flavorful, and hit the spot. the bread service a not so special small roll and two mini corn muffins. definitely not worth the calories. with all the fine breads available I don't know why a restaurant would serve this. this was a good meal, but not memorable."

  • "This is now our favorite Florida restaurant and one of our favorites period The food was incredible! The raviolis stuffed with black beans and cheese was delicious and the duck was one of the best I have ever had, and I order duck often! It was crispy to perfection and the sauce was amazing! My husband had fish crusted with toasted almonds that was also great! They allowed him to substitute tuna for a white fish that they had on the specials. They were very accomodating. Dessert, which is equally important, was out of this world! I had the crepes with a delicious coffee ice cream! I also should mention that the service was wonderful and our waiter was as sweet as can be! Our only problem is that we wish we found this place years ago!"

I ordered the carne asada, I think they may have forgotten to put it on the grill with the sauce and spices and served it par cooked, it was not what I was expecting. Felt like we were in a tourist trap with the waiter pushing us to order things we did not want or that were at a higher price."
