"This was by far the worst restaurant ever. It looks nice inside but the quality and the flavor of the food doesn't match the decor. The food tasted bland, too salty, or funny. I tried a couple of different dishes including the California roll and it was terrible. My date complained about his meal as well. We noticed that we weren't the only ones that were having issues with the food. The table near us had ordered some sushi and it was sent back to the sushi bar. The diner didn't seem to be upset and shortly after the manager showed up trying to rectify the situation. This establishment won't deter diners that are not very familiar with Japanese cuisine and non foodies only. Don't waste your money. Go to Edohana instead."

"Granted this is a VERY new restaurant, but one of the killers of any restaurant is the poorly chosen waitstaff. Our waiter was trying, but was so young and inept and not up to the standards of a pricey menu. The worst part was that he didn't leave our table when we were trying to have a private conversation.

The food was good, fresh and abundant; we both, unusually, ordered bento boxes. Next time we will sit at the sushi bar and order sushi only. I was also disappointed in my cocktail; It was a $10 drink in a water glass? really need to upgrade the bar glassware.

I think we will return at some point; our usual plan is to let a place work out their kinks for a month before we go and perhaps we should've done that this time."
