EdgeWild Restaurant & WineryGreat FoodWife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The mushroom soup was outstanding. Our entree's were very large portions. The pork medallions were very large and juicy. One note: there was no bread offered. We found that odd!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMPricey but you get what you pay forEdgewild is fantastic all the way around. Incredible food, excellent wine list, outstanding service. It's not a place I could afford to dine at regularly, but for a special occasion this is our new favorite place.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMHighly recommended-brunch too!On Mother's day, my mother asked to go to that great place we had gone a couple of months before when her sister was in town. She was looking forward to the steak trio and I really wanted the scallops so, when we saw it was brunch only we felt disappointed, HOWEVER, it was all excellent! Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was kind and helpful. Highly recommended! We all enjoy eating here and my 13 and 10 year old boys ask to go there often-they have a taste for good food!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was just so so. WeThe food was just so so. We had the mussel's and they are the smallest that I have ever seen. The Santa Fe Stack was to have lump crab on top the corn cake was just sparsely spread shredded crab. Scallops were OK, only 3 on a plate for the price not a good deal.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMNice place, good food....noisy, but otherwise very good...not excellent, but really good.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWine poursThe wine pours were of different levels. Great service great food decent price!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasedI heard about this place from a co-worker. I invited my brother and his wife to join my wife and I. We had a great time. We all orderedsomething different from the menu and everything was great. I enjoyed the seabass.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMLove, Love, LOVE this restaurant!!!One of my new favorites! The menu is interesting and varied, and I've tried many of the menu and have NEVER been disappointed. The Tenderloin Trio and the Chardonnay Chicken are my favorites. The half-baked chocolate cookie with salted carmel ice cream is WONDERFUL! I'm rarely there when one of the owners doesn't stop by the table to say hello. I went with a gorup of 4 friends, none of whom had ever been to Edgewild. It was a HUGE hit!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good, but loudTitle says it all. Food was excellent. Try the pistachio encrusted goat cheese appetizer and the half baked cookie with salted caramel dessert. Both are incredible. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was rather loud. This was our second visit and both times we had a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWhile it was very loud, theWhile it was very loud, the food and service was impeccable. Service was great in the beginning g but we got forgotten when a big party came in right after we were served our dinner. We sat for at least a 1/2 hour and eventually had to ask for the check. But that was the only downfall. I would definitely go back. The food was great.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AM6 adults dined and all had6 adults dined and all had an exceptionally good food.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWife absolutely loved it.Wife absolutely loved it. I thought the food was good but a bit expensive. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was excellent.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been to Edgewild aWe have been to Edgewild a few times now and have not been disappointed. We made a reservation and asked for a reservation in a quiet spot so one of our older diners who is hard of hearing would be able to participate in our conversations, and we were nicely accommodated. The wine, beer, and cocktail selection is really nice. The owner came by and checked on us, too. A nice place to sit at the bar or have an anniversary dinner or just meet with friends. Good food and attentive wait staff.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were celebrating our anniversaryWe were celebrating our anniversary and had a great experience. The food and the service were both excellent.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a gemMy husband and I each loved our dinners (shrimp and scallops linguine, smoked crab chowder, steak and crab). Brian, our waiter/manager helped us choose our wine by bringing generous samples. What we finally chose from several excellent possibilities was marvelous. After dinner we went outside to finish our wine, take in the live music, and enjoy the fire pit patio. We felt like we were on a small vacation, right here in chesterfield.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMEdgeWild was very good. GreatEdgeWild was very good. Great food. Had live music. Definitely would recommend it and go again.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMNo complaints! We love EdgewildNo complaints! We love Edgewild and always enjoy our time there. Also love that they have a separate wine tasting counter. The outdoor area with the firepit has a great ambience as well. We will be back!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe attended Easter SundayWe attended Easter Sunday Brunch at Edgewild. The food quality and selection was incredible. The staff was excellent. The price was moderate considering the quality and variety of the food. We will definitely return to Edgewild for "special occasion" Sunday brunch -- like Mothers' day.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a large group (11)We had a large group (11) for Easter Brunch. We loved the facility completely, and our waiter was outstanding. We tried a couple of their beef entries. They were average at best - not something that you could say to friends - wow, the been offerings there were outstanding and you must go. I think we would say that it was average, so go to enjoy the wine and the service, but don't expect the beef items to be outstanding.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGetting old isn't all bad!Six friends gathered to celebrate a birthday. It was a good choice for this special occasion - there was no rush, the waitstaff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThree of us went for the firstThree of us went for the first time on a rainy night, 3/17/2013. Place was not crowded so we were seated immediately.
Waiter was very good - perfect mixture of attentiveness, humor, and not hovering.
We chose a bottle of the Edgewild-labelled Zinfandel. Very nice wine, aerated at table. We tasted before and after aeration.
I had a garden salad and pasta with vegetables and cheese. I appreciated that the salad was not smothered in cheese as too many restaurants will do. House "red grape vinaigrette" dressing, which was good. The entree was good, not exceptional.
Wife had burger, son had prime-rib sandwich, both with truffle fries.
Place has some pretensions, e.g.,haricot verts for green beans. $94 + tip.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food though a bit priceyGreat food though a bit pricey and portions are small. Please pass on to Alicia our thanks.

Our only regret is that we did not go sooner.
Service was great! Attentive but not intrusive.
We enjoyed the salads, and were happy that we ordered the smaller size! Very generous portions, well dressed, fresh greens, perfect amount of cheese.
Moving on...Instead of an entree my husband and I shared five of the appetizer plates. The Santa Fe stack, the seared scallops, the ahi tuna tacos, the crab cakes and the mussesl in broth! We each had our favorites, but none of them were disappointing. My absolute favorites were the mussels and the ahi tuna tacos. There was enough rich and spicy broth with the (dozen!) mussels that this a3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMVery friendly for Gluten FreeVery friendly for Gluten Free diners
