We were celebrating our anniversary and had received a recommendation to try the Edge. Sure glad that we did. Everything from the soup to the bone-in filet and salmon was cooked perfectly. They answered any questions we had about the dishes or the restaurant. They built our salad right in front of us with natural, healthy ingredients. They came by a few times just to make sure the food was good and we didn't need anything else. They gave us free dessert because it was our anniversary. When they packed up our food after we were done, they gave us even more food because it was near the end of the day. All the staff that passed us were very kind and would make sure we were enjoying our food. And the food itself was delicious. Best salmon I ever had and best crab I ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster risotto was incredible. I was a little worried by the small number of reviews and the two 1-star reviews I saw on YELP, but they must have caught it on a horrible night and/or had an axe to grind.
Our food was delicious. The service was outstanding (Richard was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic), and while the decor might be a bit overdone, we didn't care as the food and service were awesome.
After opening Christmas week of 2012 and working out some of the kinks, Edge will challenge the other Park City standouts for fine dining supremacy.

Ambiance of the place is great (Sinatra in the background is my cup of tea). Food was spot on. Split a Caesar salad for two made tableside. Phenomenal. Wife had the French Onion soup. She said it was really tasty, but wasn't traditional as it had a tomato base to it rather than the beef broth as is typical. Entrees were great. I had the venison two ways (chops and sausage) and it was fantastic! Cooked perfectly. Son had the bone-in filet and reported it to be quite nice (and he is a filet 'expert') Wife had the veal chop and once again cooked to perfection.
Only issue was service. They seemed to be understaffed for the evening. But overall would definitely recommend.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
