EdendaleEggcellent Brunch!I have been to Edendale for dinner and that is a fantastic experience, but this was the first time I'd been for brunch. And the first time I had sat out on their patio. The brunch menu is not very large, but it has plenty of different options. I had the Salmon Crostini which was a perfect blend of breakfast and lunch. And the patio was so beautiful! Very neighborhood-y, lots of great character, great food. The menu is very diverse, lends itself to sharing with the whole table. We got the Vol-au-Vent, and loved it!! The Ahi appetizer, the bleu cheese fries, asian pear salad, all wonderful. Next time I want to try the Seared Ahi entree, or the salmon. The ambience is very inviting and fun.. Food coming out of the kitchen seemed to be a little on the slow side but in the end definitely worth the wait. Next time we'll try the outdoor patio, there were 2 larger groups inside which tremendously increased the noise level. The Calamari was delicious though small, the short ribs were the most tender and flavorful anywhere and the oxtail just melts off the bone. For dessert the pudding was amazing!
