  • "Our dinner at Eddie V's was memorable for all of the right reasons. Server, Eric, and manager, Aubry, took great care of us. We started with a huge, extra meaty crab cake that was plenty big enough for two. Our entres were cooked perfectly - swordfish with fresh lump crab, avocado, cilantro and chile. I had the red fish done Louisanna style (the rue should have been a little spicier). We also split a delicous mediusm rare filet to add turf to our tasty surf. It is a cliche' - but save room for desert: The key lime ice cream served Baked Alaska style, was tart, cold and incredible. The salted caramel panna cotta was an ideal mix of smooth, crunchy and salty. The room is gorgeous, but don't expect a Saturday to be quiet/romantic."

Giving great service, knowledge and care for our experience and enjoyment. Service, starting w/ valet, moving to hosts and finishing up with Stella, was exceptional. My Partner and I felt special, appreciated and very welcomed. Although the experience is slightly on the pricey side, we look forward to enjoing this great new Orlando offering as much as possible."

  • "My wife and I went early on a Friday, before the Ballet. I had made reservations thru OpenTable. Upon arrival, the Hostess, checking my reservation called us by name. The Waiter that served us, John, was everything an excellent waiter should be. Knowledgable, Friendly (but not overbearing) and Attentive. I appreciated the uniforms the wait staff was wearing, and all the Hostess' looked elegant in their black dresses. The food was very good, my Grouper was about 15 seconds overcooked, but not enough to complain. The food was served the proper temperature and our sides, Brussels Sprouts and Crab Fried Rice were outstanding. From the white linen tablecloths to the smiles of the wait staff this was an excellent experience."

Her fish was cooked just right as were my scallops and the sides came out hot this time around (twice baked potatoes and brussel sprouts). I requested a window table and feel fortunate to have that request honored as looking out on the lake was very enjoyable before sunset."

The service was outstanding the scallops had me wishing I could lick the plate clean, And the bananas Foster was the best dessert I have ever had in my entire life. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I consider myself to be a consummate foodie."

Our servers were on top of every detail - never an empty water or wine glass. The ambience was really nice and the view of the lake was beautiful. It is not inexpensive; but the value is there for the money. Can't wait to go again!"

The menu was filled with tasty choices from start to finish - so many that I already have several trips back planned so I can try all of the menu options that we didn't have room for... The dining room was elegantly set up, the bar area looked like fun (though we did not spend any time inside, just walked through to check it out.) There were a couple celebrations going on - so people have caught on that this is a nice spot for memorable events to be hosted. The servers were attentive without being intrusive... So long as the good service and great food are experienced at subsequent visits, I envision this as a somewhat regular place for a special evening out!"

We both had the filet mignon with a lobster tail. We also ordered the broccolini with garlic and lemon that was delicious along with really good potatoes au gratin. We topped it off with their chocolate lava cake that was unbelievable. I can't wait to go back."

Four different fish entrees and all a hit but the side of beets, warm mushroom salad and potstickers were especially wonderful. The savignonblanc suggested by our waiter was absolutely a perfect pairing. Well done! And when you finish with a perfect creme brûlée you know what a fine meal is all about. If you haven't been go now...you won't be sorry!"

Very energetic crowd. *Greeters and Valet very nice, prompt and attentive Negatives: *Very loud, go for fun and people watching, not for a quiet romantic dinner. *Wait Staff: was very caring, but not polished. Our server tried hard, but just wasn't experienced enough for such a high-end place. Wine questions were greeted with "I do not have a clue". When a sommelier was requested, we were told he/she was not on site this evening. (it was Saturday night!) *Clean up of tables and floor close by while we ate our meal"

  • "This was our first visit to Eddie V's in Orlando. To start with, it was raining and the covered valet area was a great plus. We were greeted and immediately sat. We had a table next to the window that overlooked the lake. It was very nice. The decor is nicely done. Our server was helpful and friendly. But the best part was the food. We had the batterfried oysters and they were amazing! Our entree's were also delicious. I would highly recommend Eddie V's to anyone looking for a great meal in an upscale environment."
