  • "I enjoyed Eddie Vs. The only unexpected thing was the fishy smell when you come in-raw fish smell. That made me nauseous so I couldn't eat much. But what I had was very good!"

  • "Went for special occasion...44th Anniversary. Preferred 7:30 seating. Only available was 6:15; untrue, keep reading. At 7:30 the place wasn't even half full. I don't like being lied to. Food was tasty, but not cooked way we liked it. Both salmon and scallops were under cooked. We felt rushed. Wanted a cup of coffee, but bill was immediately presented as dinner plates were removed. Final insult was valet parking. Waitress said she would present park receipt, so car would be waiting when we stepped outside. Did not happen. No big deal, but just another example of poor service. We expected premium price and expected premium service. Sadly, this place delivered only 50% of our expectations."

  • "My wife and I are still amazed at the quality of the appetizers served at Happy Hour. (4PM -7 PM) We tried several and every one was outstanding and they were only $10 each. We were there on a Sunday early evening. It was not really busy much to our surprise. The server was excellent as well. We will go back the next time we are in Orlando."

  • "The quiet, elegant atmosphere of the restaurant lends itself for either important business dinners or a romantic, special night out. The seafood is fresh, flavorful and delicious! The steaks were superb, nice outside crust and juicy, tender inside. The wine selection was extensive and allowed for a variety of preferences. The desserts were delicious! We had the Creme Brûlée and the Bananas Foster...yum!"

  • "The food is the star here. The décor is nothing to get excited about, the service was good but not great. The waiter was attentive but not too communicative or amicable. Kids ordered the bisque and the waiter brought tiny cups of the soup. He did not even mention if there were cups and bowls options. But the steak was the best I have had in any Miami steakhouse - better than Morton'sand others. Sides were interesting but wish they had a simple mixed veg, baked potatoe etc.. Sometimes it is good to include some basics. Seafood (swordfish) was also good my wife said , and she is very fussy. Overall I gave 5 stars for the food and only the food. Rest of the place and the service is more like 3.5 to 4. But damn !!! that steak wow!!"

  • "The bar area is where it is at. Great live music, lots of great people watching. If you get there during Happy Hour, it's tough to get a seat at the bar. But wait till 20-30 mins after H Hour & you can snag up some seats. The drinks off the normal menu are about the same as H Hour, so you are not missing much. Very pretty restaurant & complimentary valet as well."

Eddie V's made our anniversary dinner the start to a very special and romantic evening - champagne upon arrival, a booth to snuggle up together in with rose petals on the table and a Happy Anniversary sign, fantastic food, and a top notch wait staff. Couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate! Bravo Eddie V's, we will be back!"

Only one thing that stood out to me was the manager on the floor was only talking to people he obviously knew, as he walked by several times and didn't once ask how our food or service was, he must be new to fine dining management. Other then that this place was great."

  • "This is the second Eddie V's where I have dined.....the first was in Tampa. The service and food is superb. This location happens to also have a fabulous view. They specialize more in seafood and their raw oyster presentation is excellent. But I like steak...I got their 8oz filet, Au Pauvre....fabulous with a great glass of Cab. Quiet, elegant dining."

THIS TIME HOWEVER, OUR SERVER WAS IN TOO MUCH OF A HURRY AND BROUGHT THE CHECK WITHOUT BEING ASKED AND WITHOUT OFFERING US COFFEE OR ASKING IF WE WANTED SOMETHING ELSE AFTER DESSERT...   • "We started in the bar with one of the best dark and stormy cocktails served in a copper mug that we've ever had. The crab cake appetizers and yellowfin tuna sashimi were both fresh and tasty. Our guests had the scallops and the Scottish Salmon for their main dish and both raved about their selections. I had the Jonah Crab appetizer for my dinner since surprisingly there were no crab entrees. Also disappointing was the lobster bisque. My husband had the Halibut, he said it was nothing special, it was just ok and very thin, not very tasty and not would you would expect. The dessert was excellent, the bananas fosters cake is a winner. The wine was the hi-light of the evening , a $100 Bella Glos Pinot Noir Las Alturas from Monterey County."

  • "They had decorated our table with red rose petals in the shape of a heart. I had to let them know ahead on my reservation it was a special occasion. David our waiter was excellent and all the staff knew it was our anniversary and stopped to congratulate us. Mark, the manager, stopped at the end of our evening and asked about our food and service. The tuna was the best I ever had. The crab fried rice is excellent. And of course the key lime flambé topped it off."

  • "First we went to the Eddie V's in Scottsdale, AZ and after having a wonderful experience, decided to try the one in Orlando! Both restaurants have the "wow factor!" After speaking with our server in Orlando, she explained the impressive training and onboarding the employees undergo and it definitely shows in the service they provide. Everything is top knotch - the food, the ambience, the service, the jazz entertainment - a pricey evening but worth the splurge. The sea bass was the best I ever tasted. We can't wait to try the one in Chicago!"

He had a team partner, I don't remember his name...but he was rude, took items off the table at will (i was not done) and got our orders wrong...I wish we had only had the one server....David make our experience enjoyable.
