  • "Eddie V's has many wonderful food dishes, atmosphere is romantic with dim lighting, nice surroundings, comfortable feel and the waiter this night (Joseph) was superior. I think the waiter/waitress can make or break a night here...many places in FTW have great food, but not great service so in this case Joseph made it a great night too. Prior to dinner, we had drinks in the bar and the service was very friendly albeit slow. The jazz band was a huge plus for atmosphere. We split the lobster tacos for an appetizer and tomato wedge salad, two separate fish entrees, bottle of chardonnay, banana foster (we split the desert) with Columbian coffee. This came to $200 + 20% tip for Joseph.....well worth it for a pleasant and romantic night out."

  • "My wife and I went with 4 friends for a birthday dinner. It was the birthgirl's favorite place...we had not been there. Was told it was expesive but the food was worth it. Found out that what we were told was exactly correct. Made our reservation on line and got a call the day before from the resturant to confirm...great. Showed up with one part late...told the hostess...she seated us immediately and told us she would send our party back...even better than great! Everything was pricey...has to be when the wine is price at 3 times the grocery store prices...but that is normal, I guess. Entress were perfect. Appitizers were dynamite. Side dishes need some help. Salads were not to my liking...deserts were perfect, coffee, too! GO!"

  • "The food was good. The only thing I would improve was the hollandaise sauce was too runny. It was like a water constancy. Also my steak had been sliced into three pieces. It was still good but I would have rather not to have had the steak cut before it reached my table. However, we really liked the meal. My husband loved his lemon sole."

  • "Went Friday night for a birthday. Place wasn't overly crowded, no wait. Our 7pm reservations were right on time. Sat at the table for 30 minutes with bread and water. About to walk out when I stopped a passing waiter and asked for service. From then on a wonderful evening. We had calamari, AMAZING! Then shared heirloom tomato salad, very refreshing, Scallops and 12 oz filet were two entrees. Scallops were buttery smooth and perfectly seared, filet, well that was a true center cut!! They offered bananas foster and it was a great way to wrap up the meal! Perfect job chef!! We will return though."

  • "Great seafood. Calamari appetizer provided a delicious start to the meal. Entrees were very well prepared. Sides were disappointing: brochollini was lacking in character, portobellos were too salty with snap peas. Bananas Foster is a "must try" desert. Service was excellant. George was most affable. Will go again but will be a little wary of sides. Come hungry, the portions are generous."

  • "We have been here before, but it has been quite a while. Quality dining is always consistent, and this was no exception. It is hard to find fresh, quality seafood this far inland, but Eddie V's delivers. The shrimp cocktail and the crab cake appetizers are some of the best around, with the crab cake being mostly crab and little if any filler. The Sea Bass was excellent, and the broiled lobster tails---wow!! Superb!! The truffle mac and cheese is a must. As far as service goes, it was outstanding, on point, and professional from beginning to end. The price points are very reasonable for the food being served. We will be back again soon."

Our Waiter Sean was very nice, funny, knowledgeable, and food recommendations were right on the money. Calamari, Clam Chowder was BEST IN TOWN.   • "I took my husband to eddie v's for fathers day. This was our first time going to the one is fort worth but we had been to the one in dallas which is just as good. our experience was awesome. so pleasant. our waiter was fantastic and very attentive. I ordered the grilled gulf shrimp and my husband ordered the scallops along with a small crab fried rice that we shared. We topped the dinner off with the chocolate molten cake with ice cream and everything was perfect. We also had calamari as an appetizers which was very good as well. There was nice jazz music playing in the background but not so loud that you could not have a conversation. Everything was great."

  • "My husband and I celebrated Fathers Day at EV's. We had never been there before. Although from Fort Worth, we usually limit our fine dining in Dallas. Not any more! I had no idea that such an experience was right there in our hometown. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The crowd was diverse in culture as well age. I even saw a few children(well-behaved) there! We will be going back!"

  • "Celebrated a friends birthday recently. She really enjoyed a wine on the menu at the Dallas location that was not on the wine list for the FTW location. I sent an email 3 days before our reservation. They did not carry the wine, but did get some sent over for our dinner. It was waiting at the table for us when we sat down. Great food! Great service! Would highly recommend."

  • " I planned my girl's birthday party here and the experience was great. I would highly recommend this venue for a great dinner experience. The staff were very accommodating to my party of eight. We were a little late yet the staff were very gracious and honored our reservations. They were very attentive to the entire group, I will be dinning here in the near future to enjoy an incredible dinning experience. The steak was flawless Triple A experience here."

  • "We celebrated my wife's birthday at Eddie V's earlier this week. It was outstanding. We had been for restaurant week a couple years ago, enjoyed our dinner that night, and have said for 2 years that we needed to return. Our return exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, my wife was presented with a birthday card signed by many of the staff. Both our entrees, seabass and redfish were excellent. Any the most exciting course was dessert: a banana foster cake flamed table-side. We both are looking forward to a return visit."

  • "We had four in our party. For our main course, I had the filet mignon and the other had three different kinds of fish. I tasted everything and they were all very good. The lobster bisque was good, not great. The crab cakes and the calamari were the best I've ever had. The sides (asparagus, potatoes au gratin, broccoli) were good, and the dessert - bananas foster - was excellent! Our server was excellent, as was the ambiance. I would definitely go back."

The scallops were very good (a bit uneven in size and therefore cooking level) but still great. Halibut with morrel mushrooms was fantastic. The Hot Chocolate Godiva Cake was the highlight of the night, with amazing vanilla almond ice cream! So good!"

  • "We loved it!!! First but not last. From the time we walked in and walking out it's was great experience. Wine selections was on point the Missus had a field day. I'm a big fan of seafood and I was speechless. The seabass was just right, the Missus jumbo shrimp taste great and that Mac and cheese is a must, ordered a large just to bring some home. The environment was nice, soft lights, soft music in the background, friendly waitress made us feel right at home with it being our first time. Dessert was great couldn't finish it but it was great. Brought that home also. At the end of the day great food, great drinks, great service and had a great time. Next time we'll come in early just for drinks and the live band. "
