  • "Eddie V's is great for a couple or groups, even business dinners. We celebrated our anniversary at Eddie V's. Rose petals on the table a nice touch! Wait staff knowledgable and helpful with suggestions. We shared the lobster tacos, which are excellent (these should be an entree item)! The swordfish was very good, but mine arrived a undercooked. Not a problem, it was replaced with perfectly cooked swordfish. The manager came by to check on meal (after sending back the fish) and we were treated to a banana cake for desert. Could not have been nicer. We recommend Eddie V's both here in Dallas and there other locations. Always a great evening!"

  • "Jonathan was a great help with wine and food. The Filet Mignon is the best I have found in Dallas -- it is ALWAYS perfect. Several friends and I have determined that their Bananas Foster is the best dessert we have ever had anywhere. I really like Eddie V's because they always greet me by name, remember details and preferences, and distinguish themselves every single time."

  • "We have dined @ your restaurant twice in the last year or so, for a special occasion each time. The food, wine & service was great, after our order (on both visits) were served correctly. The first time, the waiter omitted my Entree & each of us ate our Entrees alone. Our second trip this week resulted with my Entree incorrectly served and both our Entrees were returned to the Chef to get it right. This caused a long delay, but the corrected order did provide good food & hot - as one would expect when you pay $240 for two. Although the server comp'd dessert, we are reluctant to return to your restaurant - the Dallas location is 2 for 2 on incorrect orders served. Thank you for asking."

  • "Great evening to go is Sunday to avoid the wait and the was very attentive. The oysters were amazingly spicy which I personally loved. Classic Caesar was respectable and the Bone-in ribeye was cooked at a perfect rare pulse. My tea was always filled and Chip was on top of the Lemons which is a Big bonus for me. This was my 3rd attempt to eat there and it always seemed impossible to get in. That being said , Sunday is a good bet for a nice relaxing low lit ambience that is quite enough to have wonderful evening...business or pleasure. Jeff"

  • "Our first visit to the restaurant on 07/20/14 was our 24th wedding anniversary. I had the Jumbo Shrimp and my husband had the Red Fish. Both dishes were wonderful, seasoned to perfection. We had the crab cake for our appetizer and it was the best we ever had! I also had the fuji apple salad and my husband had the crawfish bisque? He said he's had better because it wasn't was flavorful as he would have liked. My salad was okay, I've had better. Our waitress was Harmony who was very knowledgeable about the dishes we asked about. She helped us to decide on the portions of the side dishes we chose which were the crab fried rice and broccolini. Both were delicious and we had leftovers for my lunch the next day. A great celebration!"

  • "Our group of 8 dined at Eddie V's on a Friday to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed the live music while waiting to be seated, a few in our party were a little tardy. Once seated, our server, Muhammed, was very knowledgeable regarding the food and drinks and made some pretty good suggestions. We dined on the lobster and shrimp tacos and the pot stickers as an appetizer. Both were delicious. The tacos were truly amazing. One of my dinner companions made the comment, "Cancel my dinner, I'll just have more tacos." Everyone enjoyed their entree choices as well. We had a little of everything, from steak to fish. Everyone was completely enjoyed their meal. For dessert, the bananas foster bread pudding is to die for, an absolute must."

  • "Great anniversary dinner this past Saturday night. Our server, Ace, offered solid advice and crisp but attentive service, has the menu and preparations down cold (including providers of meat and fish). The Kung Pao Calamari, would be a nice meal by itself with a salad - that good. Though seafood is a focus for Eddie V's, my NY Strip was second to none. Eddie V's has a Napa Valley "wine and dine" program going on right now, with excellent promotional prices from 3 top tier Napa wineries by the glass or bottle (pinot, chard, cab). Refreshing to see that and we took advantage of it. I made the reservation, noting it being our anniversary, and it was a nice touch to have a card signed with congratulations by ten or so restaurant staff."

  • "We celebrated our 20th anniversary at Eddie V's. We were seated promptly at 7 and found our table set with rose petals in the shape of a heart and a card individually signed by the staff. It was quite welcoming and a sweet omen to the wonderful meal ahead. My husband had swordfish steak which was perfectly paired with a type of avocado chutney. I chose a dry cured steak which was perfect with each mouthful. I am now ruined for any other steak. We shared side dishes of the snap peas and the much raved about mac and cheese, a reputation well earned. We left our wine selection in the hands of our exceptional waiter, Randy, and his recommendation was a 2012 Cab named Palermo from Orin Swift cellars. Perfection. We'll be back!"

  • "We asked to be seated in the lounge area as we wanted to have the entertainment. The group was good and we enjoyed the music very much, but we're disappointed with both the food and the service. The shrimp appetizer was a bit past it's prime and my grouper was very dry; not at all light moist and almost buttery as it typically is. My husband's tuna was of good quality but had a weak sear, so just raw with a slightly brownish edge."

  • "Had another wonderful Sunday evening at Eddy V's listening to Don Morgan's group, dancing a little between tables, and eating off the great bar menu. Anna, our wonderful waitress, was great and, as usual, the Caesar salad, crab cakes, crab fried rice and yummy butter pecan ice cream were so delicious!!! We try to go there at least once a month and have tried various things on the menu, all very good!!!"

  • "We had reservations for 7:30PM - However we arrived around 6:30, therefore we decided to sit at the bar to enjoy the live jazz music and a couple of drinks. The Mojito's were ok, the Tuna tartare was great and so was the Calamari. For dinner, The filet was very good and the stuffed shrimp was very good as well.....The sea bass was not for me...and for $40 ....not worth it in my opinion. They decorated the table with rose petals for our anniversary and had a card signed by all of the staff. Very sweet! To top it all off.....They gave us a Free desert (Banana Fosters) - It was AMAZING! Overall was a great experience...."

  • "You must try the Shellfish Tower! It was difficult to select from the menu because every item appeared to be intriguing and delicious. Between the three of us, we shared seafood and steak selections. Somewhat pricey menu, but worth it. The service was outstanding and there were no disappointments, except we originally planned to order some great desserts, but had no room by the time we finished several appetizers and our entrees. Next time, we will make more prudent plans so we can try the dessert menu."

  • "Lobster bisque was amazing, warm mushrooms salad had soggy lettuce and too much goat cheese in proportion to the dish. The filet was good although a bit drt. Stuffed shrimp was very good but the scallops were average, nothing memorable. For the price and slow night (Monday), I would have expected stellar service. I had to flag down the waiter to order another glass of wine. Once he returned, I had finished my meal. Water glasses were emptied and not refilled until the check was delivered. Overall, Eddie V's is OK but not a good value."
