  • "Went on a Sunday at 6. Dining room looked empty and we asked to sit in lounge. Took quite a while (by Eddie standards) for a server to come to table for drink order. Friends ordered bottle of wine and server disappeared for several minutes to locate wine chiller. Never came back to pour more wine and bottle was empty before he asked if they would like more poured! Water glasses were never refilled, we asked for more bread, but never delivered. Everyone kept mumbling about not enough help; however the lounge did not seem to see overly busy. This experience was out of character for Eddie s but does need to be addressed."

  • "We enjoy Eddie's so much and although windy outside, felt it was a warmer choice that dining in the air conditioning. Who wants to go to a restaurant in the summer and freeze, especially remembering the harsh winter we had. Food was good except the pork chop was VERY dry. The last time I ordered it (my previous visit) it was the moistest pork chop I'd ever had. This one was a very sharp contrast. Husband said the stroganoff was wonderful. Sundays are great because of the 1/2 bottles of wine and you can try something more upscale for a reasonable price."

Steak was great, sesame ahi tuna was disappointing, with what seemed like a basic soy dipping sauce (no special ingredients) and a far too large portion of tuna. Server uninformed and not forthcoming on the menu or our selections. As a result, we had unintentional double sides of potatoes and he forgot the brussel sprouts."

  • "Have to say, I get only get salmon once a year due to the fact that everyone seems to over cook it and over price it. My once a year experience is dedicated to Eddie Merlots and this exquisite meal. My wife had an excellent meal as well with a filet mingnon cut like butter. The waiter was ok, but since we didn't order wine and an appetitizer we seemed to feel like we got the cold shoulder. Not saying that was the case, cause he just could've been an introverted person and interacting didn't come so easy. Overall this place made an excellent moment for our anniversary."

  • "When my husband and I need a "special evening out", we go to Eddie Merlots. We always get great service, and the warm, friendly hostess (Heather) starts your visit off right. Gave us a great booth, even though there were only two of us, and the booth is probably better for the restaurant if they seat four people there. The booth almost makes you feel like a rock star. We had great service (from Abby), and our "bread/beverage/clean up guy" (I think his name was Ryan or Evan-couldn't read his name badge). We met John (Manager), and conveyed our pleasure with the dining experience. We've often eaten in the bar (they have a nice bar menu-great burgers), but the bar is very loud. For a more intimate experience, sit in the restaurant."

Most importantly, the food offerings are well prepared and presented. Fresh ingredients are used and it shows. Everything was wonderful. Warning - desserts are fantastic but generous portions.   • "Being a "regular", am always treated well, from initial greeting to the end. My friend & I don't see each other often, maybe once a month, so we end up spending hours wherever we dine. We were never made to feel rushed & spent a leisurely evening catching up. We both chose a dish from the $29 entree menu which comes with a caeser salad. The salad had way too much dressing for my taste & both of us only ate a portion of it, so had it boxed, will add more romaine & enjoy for another meal. The entree I chose was the pork chop after seeing someone's served. Wonderful! -moist & HUGE! -served with potatoes and green beans. Again, enough for 2 meals. My guest ordered the beef stroganoff & also will enjoy another meal.-love Eddie's leftovers!"

  • "The 2014 Mothers Day Brunch was excellent the food and service were very good. My family really enjoyed the time together. I will say that the chairs in the resturant are very uncomfortable and seem to be getting old and worn. For such a nice resturant it seems that Eddie's has not made the effort to improve seating comfort. The chairs are getting so worn that a friend always requests a booster seat so they can seat comfortably."

When asked about a vegetarian menu for one of us, she quickly recommended the Brussel Sprout Hash, which was excellent! My Seabass was still encrusted with salt (which I specifically asked it not to be salted, as I woke up this am with a swollen tongue)-the salt actually ruins the dish! -should've sent it back, but after bragging to my friends that our server had made sure the chef didn't salt it the last time I ordered it, I chose not to. I'll never order it again & will go to Paula's instead for my seabass. $24 for the red flight of wine was NOT worth it (the white flight was less than 1/2 the price), but the red velvet cupcake - always nice touch 4 birthdays"

Mark, our server, (who we know), made it fun and even broke the "rules" by bringing us carrott cake when I complained that Eddie's had advertised mini carrott cakes on their brunch menu. We ALWAYS are made to feel special. Love Eddie's! "

  • "Exceptional Dinner! Dined by myself and made to feel welcomed. Melissa was a one of a kind server. She was attentive to anything I needed. Sat in the back of the lounge and still made to feel like I was apart of the restaurant. Ahi Tuna Wontons great. Beef Carpaccio still the best. Loved the shaved Parmesan and Capers that accompanied it. The only negative thing was a modem for internet sitting on the table with wires running to the wall. "

  • "Room was too warm. We did mention this to the waitress and she said she would tell management. A warm room does not allow you the pleasure of eating warm food. Temp did not improve. Toma Hawk Wagu rib eye steak was good but not what I expected. First bites had gristle and the rest of the steak was chewy. Wine price is up. 100$ for 5 glasses of wine is a bit absurd. Used to be about 12-16 in the recent past. We have been there many times and this was certainly not as we expected. I did have 35$ in coupons which helped. "

  • "This is a class act, through and through. We've dined here before, and are never disappointed. On this occasion, we were celebrating a birthday. The ambience is impeccable. The food, incomparable. This evening the dining room was far from busy, and the service was a bit slow. It took an uncomfortable length of time between bringing our drinks, and returning to take out orders. The waiter was polite enough, and overly apologetic, there just didn't seem to be any reason for the phlegmatic service. And, typically they are Johnny-on-the-spot. Will we go back? You bet. We'll just make sure we have plenty of time. "
