There are three private rooms/areas to choose from according to your needs. The Chardonnay Room, which can seat approximately 40 guests comfortably, the Merlot Room, which seats approximately 80 guests and the Cabernet Room, seating 40 guests.   • "It was nothing short of just a perfect and fantastic night out with my wife. We had received a gift card for Christmas, or we would probably have never eaten at Eddie Merlot's, mainly because of the price. Our normal special occasions would be dining at The Olive Garden, or Longhorns. And while both of those restaurants are very good, Eddie Merlot's puts them to shame. My wife and I now know what the definition of fine dining at its best, and that would be Eddie Merlot's. Thanks for a wonderful night out, the food was delicious, perfect in every way."

  • "I had Easter Brunch with my mom, husband and kids and it was fantastic. I have eaten here before for dinner, and the food was always good, but the brunch was outstanding. A great variety of entrees and everything was delicious. We all enjoyed ourselves so much, it was a great day spent with family and a great meal which made for a special day.   • "We had an excellent dinner there last Saturday. From the time we entered and were warmly greeted and all the way through desert, it was an enjoyable experience. Our server, Kirk, was a true professional and greeted us by name and was attentive to our needs. In fact the entire staff was on top of their game. In the past we had a couple of so-so dinners at Eddie Merlot's but the last two visits things have gotten so much better. Hat's off to the management team as you can tell some changes were probably made. The only thing I can recommend is change the seats in the bar. They're way too low, even just for cocktails."

  • "This was our third year in a rwo to have lobsters on Fridays in Lent.Previous years the lobsters were vey good.This year not so good. On my first of two lobsters when I broke th tail from the body green yucky water ran allover my plate and the table. It was a mess and not very appetizing. My wife and I are regular diners at Eddie Merlot's but we'll stick with e steaks from now on"

  • "I've been to Eddie Merlots before.I do enjoy the place and the food but during my last visit I was rather unsatisfying. I made a reservation and mentioned it was my mother's birthday, if possible arrange something nice for her. We get to the restaurant and the hostess takes us to a tiny little table on the very back sitting next to the window facing the highway exit... No thanks, give me another one. We are given an Ipad to select a wine, but the tablet freezes and doesn't work. Server was nice, but it took a long time to place our orders. We both asked for the new bison meat on the menu. This $45 dollar stake (each one 45) came without any sides and it seemed pretty plain. Food was good, but I expected much more out of a 150 dollar dinner."

  • "The three course Prix Fixe menu ($32.95) was a winner! The prime beef brochette (shish kabob) was amazing, as was the apple pie bread pudding. We don't usually like the prix fixe, but it was a really great value this time. Plus, for Platinum club members, Sundays are half price bottles of wine and double points. Can't go wrong there! Kirk was a great and well informed server, and the manager of the night, Terry, made the rounds of each table and was delightful. Love Eddie Merlots. What a great restaurant for Montgomery!!"

  • "We have dined here a few times and have had excellent food. The service has always been great but this last visit our waitress was not as attentive. We had to wait a little too long to order our food and, even though the place wasn't extremely crowded on a Sunday night, it took a while to be served. My steak was hot but the asparagus and seafood which was on top was barely warm. I didn't say anything because the rest of the dinners were fine. Save room for dessert because they are delicious."

Michele was our waiter, she was very knowledgeable with the wine list and helped us pick out a wine that was a good match for the seafood we had. Her service was timely, polite and extremely efficient. The appetizer we ordered was the raw seafood platter. The seafood was fresh and presented in a very tasteful way. We plan on making several trips back to try more of the menu. We recommend Eddie Merlot's to anyone."

The dinner, preparation of the food, and the service were all outstanding, right down to the cup of coffee, which arrived at the table piping hot. When asked to be reseated waited almost an hour.We departed without being served. I understand when a restaurant is busy but we expected a different service. We may give it another chance"

  • "Dined on 3/7 and, once again, everything was perfect that was controllable by Eddie's. The only issue we had was a selfish couple at the next table watching videos on their phone at a loud volume. Not really cool. We had the lobster special and it was cooked to perfection. Josh was our server and he was attentive and friendly. I am surprised we had never worked with Josh before since he has been there since the opening and that is how long we have been going. The chopped salad was great, the asparagus wonderful and our dessert - pots de crème - should be a permanent addition to the menu. It was truly amazing. This restaurant never fails to deliver. BTW - don't miss their Mother's Day brunch."
