Diner Reviews
  • "Great sushi, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. Both unique and straight ahead food, with perfect presentation. Service is just right. A repeat location for us."

  • "My fiancé and I had dinner here. We were early for our reservation and they were able to accommodate us right away. Friendly staff. Our server Kelly made a great drink suggestion that I really enjoyed."

  • "Everything about our evening was spot on. The food was delicious - Sea Bass was a hit as well as the Scallops and Teriyaki Salmon. We all ordered the special cocktail made with St. Germain, and the apps (Spider Roll and Hurricane Roll) and dessert (Soufflés - Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Coconut) were perfect. Our server was friendly, happy and provided the right amount of attention. It was a really fun night."

  • "Echo was absolutely delicious! Every thing from the food, service and cocktails made our Anniversary in Palm Beach a night to remember. If you love sushi, this is definitely a must to dine at."

  • "This is the second spring break in a row that we've been to Echo. This year, my daughter and I brought my husband along. The service is pleasant, very quick and seamless. We all loved our food (I had a special sushi roll with strawberries on top), and we had a fabulous chocolate chip soufflé for dessert! We love this restaurant and the varied Asian menu coupled with the wonderful service makes it our top choice in Palm Beach!"

  • "We hadn't been to Echo for a few years, but had enjoyed the food and ambiance a number of times.nthe drinks were fine, but the appetizers- lettuce wraps, spring rolls and spare ribs were just mediocre. The mu shu was like in A fair neighborhood chinese restaurant. The Vietnamese chicken was OK but the Thai Duck was disappointing . I would recommend the special Fried Rice. Our table outside was fine-- inside the noise was just too much for conversation. Our waiter was in attentive and without the help of the two excellent hostesses, our rating would have been even worse. Pretty place, but it needs to get its act together!"

  • "looking for a quite place, this in not the place. But the food is great."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "It was fair because although we ordered three main dishes; they were primarily full of vegetables. If we wanted just vegetables we would have ordered just vegetables. We felt rather rushed with a rather good but pushy waiter"

  • "How very disappointing. We had been to Echo previously and found the food and service to be outstanding. I don't know what is going on but they have clearly lost their touch. My husband ordered the short ribs which were covered in a heavy sauce. It was as if they were trying to cover up the meat. The service was horrible- I had to flag down an alternate waiter; our waitress seemed to have gone on an extended break- to have our table cleared and order coffee & dessert. After waiting 20 minutes for dessert to arrive, during which time I finished the coffee, I tracked down a busser and begged for our check. Echo is now on my list of " too bad, they used to be good" restaurants."

  • "Being that we are locals. There are very few sushi restaurants locally that have ambience. Echo is long in that but short on the food quality, especially relative to price. The sushi rolls were mushy, rice was overlooked and flavors were overpowered by mayonnaise. Will not be going back."

  • "We came for dinner on a Saturday night. Food was delicious. Service was attentive, but nothing above and beyond. Peking duck was amazing as usual."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "We were so disappointed in our sushi specialty rolls! We came here last season and we saw a big change in our specialty rolls. They were about 40% smaller than prior seasons. We thought it just might be a coinsidence. This season the rolls were very small and the amount of fish on our rolls was also very small. What's happening is the "happy hour" specialty rolls have shrunk!! Hopefully Ecco will return to the original specialty rolls and give their customers value for their money once again. We all left there hungry and disappointed. We basically ate rice dipped in soy for dinner."

  • "Whether you are looking for a great meal or great atmosphere Echo is Excellence in spades. The bar scene is hot and the bartenders Never Fail to deliver a fun libation in a cool glass. If you are in West Palm or PBG area this is worth the trip on to Palm Beach!"

  • "The server was ver attentive and polite. Was a fast server. Made sure everything at our table was ok and tgat we got our food in a timely fashion. Very professional atmosphere. As soon as we came to the restaurant to inform them that we were here for our reservations we was seated! That's what I like!!"

  • "We love the ambience, and the wait staff is great from the greet, at the bar, thru dinner and back to the street. But… the food, while very creative, and having an extensive menu… was so boring! Our party of 6 had a real variety… Sushi, duck, beef, shrimp, and several appetizers and desserts… Drinks and food had great presentation, beautifully plated and colorful… All came out at same time… We were excited… But no intriguing taste! No zing, nothing to make any of us smile and want to share a taste of our dinners with each other. At dinner we spent about $125 per person and that included one drink a piece. For that money, the food really should have made you desire to came back for more… Only reason to return is the ambience and a drink."

  • "Arrived at 5:45 for their Happy Hour, but every seat was filled; guess one has to arrive when it starts - oh well. We were seated right away and were served edamame - a nice surprise. We ordered a Dancing Eel Roll - delicious! Also ordered a grilled calamari appetizer - just fair; Chicken Pad Thai - i've had much better; Bok Choy & Mushroom side - very bland, no flavor. The later it got, the noise level got very loud, was tough to carry on a conversation. The outside seating looked very cool with some tables with a fire pit (we were inside). I used to be a regular at Echo, but since I moved (still in PB County), this is the first time dining here in years. Maybe we should have just ordered sushi. I doubt I'll be back, sadly."

  • "Service was good - VERY LOUD hard to hear the conversation at your own table. The food was just OK - not bad but far from excellent for the price point. The Edmama beans delivered were a nice welcome! Overall loud ambience and food made for a below average experience overall."

  • "i should say the restaurant was not real Japanese and more like Chinese, maybe it is because our choice of food, but the food was pretty tasty and service was fine and friendly."

  • "For some reason the aren't very any good Asian Fusion Restaurants in the Palm Beach Area. But this one is a "HOME RUN" YUMMO!!!!!!! What a great menu. Some thing for everyone. Even a special Vegan Menu."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "The pork dumplings are the best ever!!! The only complaint is about the music; it was a bit too loud; something more soothing such as Brazilian Bossa Nova would be a better match!"
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "A dinner at Echo is always consistent. The ambiance is lovely and the food is sumptuous. I am never disappointed. I also love their soufflés. Bar tenders are helpful and knowledgeable. They are also happy to suggest a drink. A favorite spot to dine!"

  • "Went with our daughter, son-in-law, and their friend. They are all in their 20's. They loved it. We are, obviously, older and loved it too! Valet right in front so no problem with parking."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "The service was prompt and professional. We ordered drinks and bowls of hot & sour soup to start. Our main course was the Seared Ginger Beef with a side of Echo's house fried rice and a side of Szechwan vegetables. Everything was perfect and delicious, as we've come to expect from Echo (this is our third time here). After the meal was finished and our bill was paid, we received chocolate covered strawberries compliments of the house (a nice Valentines day touch). The price is on the high side, but this is one of the best restaurants in south Florida located in the heart of Palm Beach, and so you expect to pay a premium--but very worth it. Overall we loved our food, the service was top notch and we definitely will return."

  • "This is our first time visiting the area and we found Echo when we did an online search for best sushi/asian food. Inside the restaurant was extremely loud so we sat outside...it was lovely. The service and food was outstanding...so much so we went back the very next day. Can't say enough about the food, interesting rolls, lots of flavor...truly yummy!!!"

  • "Another delicious dinner experience at Echo. The service was attentive, but not overly so. The food was delicious with a great amount of variety. We ended up ordering three appetizers and one entree to split for two of us, and ended up bringing quite a bit home. Nice sized portions and beautiful presentation."
