They were very accomodating finding us a seat in the bar and then escorting us to,our table when it was ready. Zac, our waiter was very attentive and very polite. We had an amazing dinner and a wonderful experience at Ecco."

  • "Fabulous restaurant with great service and awesome selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses. The food is similar as to eating on Mediterranean coast of France and Italy. Our waiter did not rush us, explained the menu well, and made sure everything was satisfactory. We visit Atlanta often and this might be our new favorite restaurant. A little hard to find because it is on a side street so use your GPS. Valet parking is behind the restaurant."

  • "Wanted a nice place to do a little carbing up before the Peachtree, and also someplace special to take our kids to celebrate their first ever Peachtree. We dined outside, with lovely (especially for July) weather. My wife, 10yo son & I shared the flat iron steak, the pappardelle, and the San Marzano pizza. Our 7yo daughter had the kid's pasta with red sauce. Everything was just fantastic. The wine was amazing, and dessert was truly special. We only get to come here a few times a year, and we're always sad that it's that rare every time we come. BTW, I do think this restaurant is kid friendly so long as your kids are able to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and are ok w/ more adult foods. If not, you may want to look elsewhere."

  • "I enjoyed my experience at Ecco. Initially I requested a booth, but after being seated in the bar area, away from the dining area I wish I hadn't. Our server was one of the bartenders so his attention was everywhere. The cured meat and cheese combo was delicious. Very few main dish options unless you're into pizza and pasta."

  • "This is a great place if you like spicy Italian. It was good but selections were slim. I think overrated is a good way to describe the food.I had the flat steak and it was very spicy and friend had pork flat steak and it was also spicy. Side was an antichoke dish with some potatoes.. The artichokes had a tin can flavor to them.. not fresh at all. Some of the food coming to tables had a funky smell to them. Waiter was very attentive and spot on. It was a very busy night and the place was full. Lots of celebrations going on at the time. I spoke with someone who said the menu changes all the time so maybe it would be better with different food choices. The location was easy to get to and parking on street or valet was available."

  • "Enjoyed another great meal at Ecco, it's a favorite place that never disappoints. Love the fun signature cocktails. We shared a tasty cured meats and cheese platter and a wood fired pizza. Topped it off with the European pastries sampler - mini pastries that offered several different flavors - perfect size for sharing. Our reservation was early (6:30 pm). About six tables seated when we arrived but by the time we left, the restaurant was full and the energy level high. Because Ecco's decor has mostly hard surfaces, the noise level rises as it fills up. Bar area was hopping. It actually was quieter and felt more relaxed at the tables outside especially since it was a weekend night and traffic in Midtown Atlanta was light."

I wish I would have been more hungry as the menu looked great. The service was polite and fast but lacked a bit of......je ne sais quoi. Ecco is in the rotation and we will be back."

  • "This is the place if you enjoy "real" European food. Fresh baked bread with a crunchy crust and a soft interior. A charcuterie plate that is as it should be, meats sliced thin enough to read a newspaper through, cheeses with a flavor that compliments the meats as opposed to overwhelming them. A wait staff that does everything, they pay attention to the other tables, not just theirs. A chef that inspects every plate leaving the kitchen. A manager that not only will grab a plate and help serve, but also pays attention to what is going on in the dining room. A wine list divided between "old world" and "new world" which helps you quickly zero in on what you want to compliment your choice of meal. Can't miss."

  • "We had an outstanding meal. The appetizers were create - always a creative twist to them. I'd highly recommend the deep fried goat cheese as well as the roasted beets appetizers. I had one of their pastas - again wth some unexpected but absolutely delicious twists. My husband had the flank steak. Part of it was a little overdone, but the rest of it was cooked beautifully. The manager was more than willing to give hi a new steak, but we declined. The rest of the meal was so good, a slightly overdone steak tip was forgiveble. By the way, the Hostess, Sheila. I an absolute hoot! She has so many funny stories, we were tempted to invite her to sit with us for the meal. GREAT personality!"

  • "What a pleasure to dine at this exceptional establishment. Creative ingredients that dance on your tongue and scream WOW. Charred squid appetizer was outstanding in taste and presentation. Disappointed that our favorite monkfish entree was unavailable that night but it forced us to try something new...the simple pappardelle entree...but it was much more than simple, we loved it. The Pappardelle entree is a must have again, next time we dine here, hopefully very soon. Thank you Ecco!"

  • "Went with a group that had some foodies and some 'meat-n-potatoes' types. Decided to go with the meat-n-cheese boards, taste-n-share appetizers, and pizzas where our whole group could experience lots of variety. Highlights were the croquettes, wrapped dates, and prosciutto pizza. Group was luke warm on the goat cheese house specialty and the dish portions were kind of small. Drinks were excellent - hey they have a moscow mule which is rare - and the service above average. If I went traditional route of each person getting a salad, entree, and desert Ecco would be pretty expensive. Since we shared everything it cut the price down. Good experience, might return."

  • "MY wife and I enjoyed our meal before seeing a show at the Fox theater. From the fancy fried bologna and cheese aka Mortodela a la plancha, to the calamari on toast. Everything was delicious. Our server Jess was outstanding and very knowledgeable about the food, wine, and was very helpful with the cocktails. We have been before and we will return."

  • "Got there at 900 and was still full, outside and outside. The service was good. We ordered a meat and two cheese combination, it was very small, 1 slice of mortadella (it's big but not so much) and the two cheeses pretty small too, all tasty. Then we had the mushroom flatbread, very good. Crowd in their 20's. Overall it was good, just not very distinctive."

  • "So they can't seem to just tell you what's in something on their menu. It's got all kinds of extra info that doesn't matter, and a lot of ingredients I had never heard of. (and I did graduate from college). Drinks are super expensive. I would recommend the "God Save the Queen". It was delicious! But we spent $250 for 4 people -- and only had PIZZA and drinks!"

  • "I would recommend going to Ecco should you want to celebrate a special occasion or if you plan to have a romantic evening. Great ambiance and atmosphere. Decor was awesome and lighting was great. Cuisine is served in courses like traditional European restaurants. If you are looking to stuff your palates I would recommend going somewhere else because this place does not offer big servings."

  • "From clients to colleagues to parents, I can always count on Ecco to serve up a time that everyone enjoys. This visit was after a show at the Fox. Service was a little frazzled to start, but the wait staff finally hit its stride and finished well. The noise level was almost unbearable for my older parents as we were seated in the back near 2 large parties. Food was great, wine list interesting. "
