"the service was very good --every part of our meal was quite tasty with very fresh and flavorful ingredients! the setting is beautiful, very tastefully decorated , fireplace in lobby area is always a plus --overall great experience!"

"Special occasion dinner in an amazing setting. Historic town, very well maintained inn, great service, generous portions, everyone seemed happy to have my wife and I for the evening. Walking distance to historic district...beach...several dozen shops...horse drawn carriage rides...overall a lot of fun for couples. Not a pricey place considering where you are dining and how easy it was to get around. Not as quiet as it could have been if owner would have not been so intent on keeping dining room as close to originally built. An acoustic ceiling would help in absorbing some of the noise. Again, we really felt we were dining in turn of the century inn and a little noise was not a distraction. Food was very good and presented perfectly."

"I was enjoying every bite until the dessert. Salad and entree were both excellent. The dessert, however, would have been totally great (flourless chocolate cake with walnut icecream) if you left out the caramel sauce; much toooooo sweet."

"As always we had a wonderful experience,Tattinger Champagne by the glass brings me back nearly every week. Great seasonal dinner specials. You know everything is great when you see the owner having dinner at his own restaurant. Our server was wonderful and the server in training is going to do well with the season soon to begin."

"Excellent food, beautiful rooms, cozy yet hip.service was very good yet on this night a little slow in the kitchen and my steak was not medium well. Everything else perfect. The Fennell and potato soup was worth the visit all by its self. The cocktails were fabulous. We will keep coming back as one of our favorite nice meal places."

"I have attended the Ebbitt Room many times over the years and it is always surpurb. They are over acheivers in not skipping a single detail. The appetizers and dinner was fantastic and the wait staff is delightful. I strongly recommend this restaurant."

"Very loud; piano amplified into dining room did not help. Clams were unacceptably gritty. Everything else good though the oysters Rockefeller arrived quite cool, when they MUST be served piping hot."
