  • "This past week my boyfriend turned 26 and I wanted to take him somewhere special and I'm so glad I chose EB Greens! It was easy to make a reservation online, which has a section for special requests. I requested a window seat, which we were directed to upon arriving. I also advised them that it was my boyfriend's birthday, and to see if they could do anything special. They did! They brought us free flutes of champagne to make a toast and also a complimentary meringue and ice cream dessert. They were special touches to an otherwise great meal!"

  • "Food was perfection, the 4 of us were able to pass the onion soup around and share a vegetable (the menu says serves 2 but there is quite a lot). Both were perfect as well and the prime rib was perfect as well, everyone got just the preparation they requested, medfium, medium rare and medium well were ordered and came out exactly as ordered. Best in Buffalo!"

  • "the food was well prepared. i would have liked to see a manager visit our table to check in relative to our dining experience to add that nice customer service touch. i missed the experience of seeing the different steak and dessert options as a visual display. i loved being able to make my reservations online. i think a nice touch when the bill is presented would be to add homemade candy in the delivery. some personal touches need to be added to align the price of dining with the overall service experience. the monkey bread was excellent. i would have enjoyed a nice honey oat flavored bread to start off the meal instead of the plain sesame bread."

Parking was easy with the complementary valet,the server was courtious, knowledgeable and very efficient, allowing time to enjoy coffee and dessert after our meal. Everyone in the group was very happy with their meals, the food was delicious."

  • "Service was friendly and attentive. Excellent wine by the glass choices. House salad was fresh and lighly dressed. We ordered NY Strip Steak for two. Came on a sizzling hot platter which was great for our medium rare to medium requirements - the steak continued to cook on the platter. We went for the great steaks and the piano playing by Jackie Jocko. Unfortunately Jackie was off due to illness but they had a substitute piano player - not the same. Jackie is one of the world's greatest lounge piano players."

  • "The restaurant should have a 'dress code" .... looking over 2 tables and seeing 2 men wearing baseball caps in this type of restaurant is totally unacceptable. There's another fine dining restaurant in WNY that requires you to remove your coat or jacket before you can sit down - so I'm assuming that having some dress code rules is not illegal ."

From the valet parking, to the host, through to the service and especially the Food! Couple that with an awesome wine list, and you have everything you need for a wonderful evening."

  • "The food was just ok! I has French onion soup and my husband had lobster bisque...then we had the sliders that were very plain. We weren't even asked how we wanted them cooked. We also ordered calamari but the waitress forgot it..i was rather upset about it and the waitress didn't seem to really care about the mess up. We also ordered the duck. The suck was ok but u could tell they cooked it to rare and had to then cook it more after they cut it. when we got our bill we were still charged for the calamari. We should have gotten it for free or a discount."

  • "We ordered the French Onion Soup, the Porter House Steak for 2, and a side of Mushrooms. We also had 3 glasses of wine, wife the Riesling, and I had the House Boudreaux. The wine served to Mary was good, but then we knew it would be as it is her table wine, same brand. At $9 a glass we thought it was overpriced. The Bordeaux was not one I have had before and was excellent. The soup was very good. The steak was to die for, melt in your mouth and excellent flavor. The service was excellent - both attentive but unobtrusive. We ordered the mushrooms late but they graciously handled my mistake. While in good condition the interior could use some freshing and updating. A definite hit with us, someplace we will certainly do again."

I've had as good or even better meals for nearly half the price.A steak only gets so good then it's left up to the innovation of the chef. Most every thing here was pretty standard."

  • "My husband and I have been dying to try your steakhouse. I would definitely say it was worth the wait! My only complaint would be that we didn't receive a drink menu. Had we received one I might not have ordered a $9 glass of wine that I still am not sure what brand it was. We also didn't receive a dessert menu before hand and were told to order the lava cake with our entree if we wanted it. That was all we ordered for dessert because it was now or never it seemed like. We also sat next to a very large group of out of town family members that had many complaints about everything on their minds. I did think that with a reservation my husband and I might be placed with other couples but not a huge group."

  • "What an evening!! Truly a Night to Remember!. My daughter and I went for dinner before going to the theater. It was a girls night out. They served the best Coconut Shrimp Ste, Champagne and Steak. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was classy. We felt like queens for the night. We highly recommend it!"

  • "We arrived early due to the theatre ending sooner than we anticipated. We were taken to a table immediately. Hostess was very friendly and polite. Waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, but we had been there a number of times before, so we stopped her in mid stream. Bisque was wonderful. The house salad is always fresh and delicious. Steaks cooked to perfection. The only drawback, if you would want to call them that, were the gentleman who brought the butter/sour cream to the table, sure took his time. This may have been that he was waiting on other customers, maybe no his fault, however, the butter/sour cream need to arrive with the dinner that is hot."

  • "I recently dined at E.B. Green's for the first time and it was lovely. The menu had a nice variety of meats & veggies. The wine & cocktails were delicious. I ordered my filet medium and it was cooked perfectly. I got it with their house salad and baked potato. A nice surprise was the onion curls which were very light and melted in your mouth along with the meat. They complemented each other very nicely. The house salad was very unique with an assortment of greens/mandarin oranges, and nuts. Overall, I had a great meal and look forward to going back. The only criticism is that I felt the meal was rushed."

  • "I am going to start with what was wrong with the meal. I had requested an orange chiffon birthday cake to be made for my wife. I was told "oh, our chef is a pastry chef, so this is no problem." Well, then they probably should not have delivered an orange decorated POUND CAKE to our table. I paid dearly for this cake, and to me, this was inexcusable. When my wife ordered the raw oysters as an appetizer, she asked for a mignonette sauce for the oysters. It was delivered with minced garlic. For a 5 star restaurant, this was unacceptable. Shallots should have been used. To just serve that and not think that a patron would notice? Not good. Our dinner was over $475 for 4 people. I was disappointed and probably won't return."

  • "This was my first experience at EB greens and I will never go back. I understand that it is a busy night but you should never have to wait 45 minutes between eating your appetizer and entree. As well as that your serve not coming over to refill your drinks. So by the time the entree came to our table everyone had ordered a steak of some sort and lobster, all the steaks were cooked wrong no one enjoyed their meal for the price we paid it should had been outstanding. Sorry EB greens but you failed in my book!!!!"

  • "When searching for a steakhouse to dine at while in Buffalo, I stumbled upon the name EB GREENS. The reviews led me to believe that I might have found something worth trying. The website looked inviting and the rating of a TOP 10 STEAKHOUSE IN THE COUNTRY helped me make my final decision. My husband and I have tried many steakhouses and we were looking forward to EB GREENS. From the very start we were impressed, the service was top notch, our courses were spaced apart perfectly, the portions were generous. We have experienced "Fine Dining" where your plate is covered with swirls of sauces to disguise the empty plate from showing, this was not the case at EB GREENS. Even the Creme Brûlée was the best by far! WE WILL BE BACK!"

  • "We went for our anniversary and were sat near the kitchen. Waiter did not put champagne bucket up on a stand because he said he didn't want to walk around it. Food was delicious and well prepared- would have preferred mignonette for oysters. Some appetizers were brought out cold. Overall amazing food wine list was limiting"
