soft shell crabs were excellent, salads, excellent, lobster excellent, steak ordered medium rare, was cooked well done, not a bit of pink. waitress offered to re do the steak, naturally not enought time for that.

Mary Sullivan, our waitress, was very attending and checked back often to make sure we were enjoying our meal and inquiring if we needed anything more. She informed the piano player that it was our wedding anniversary and he made sure he played romantic melodies to add to our enjoyment of the evening. The choices provided were a nice sampling of the regular menu. The prime rib dinner was served just as requested and the baked potato, salad and yorkshire pudding were perfect. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the evening out. The serice was quite good, but could hav been little mor attentive (such as the waitress forgetting to bring me the requested lemon wedge for my lobster bisque soup, or that soup being "warm" but not nearly as HOT as is could/should have been.
The prices were not unfair compared to other high end steakhouses in other parts of the country, but for Buffalo, they were somewhat high. For my money, I'd rather pay a bit more and go to a Ruth's Chris steakhouse, but there are none in the Western NY area.
