EatsAnother great meal!Went here with a group. They sat us in the back private section by request. Great service, great food once again!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Atmosphere & Friendly StaffMy boyfriend and I went this weekend. I had a living social voucher I purchased months ago and the experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend checking this place put. The oysters were amazing and so was the shrimp cocktail. My boyfriend enjoyed the clams. Try the mango skinny Martinis.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMIf you like Kale, you haveIf you like Kale, you have to try their kale salad with pears, pecorino chesse, slivered almonds and some raisins thrown in. I cannot go there and not have it. I've been enjoying their steak burgers as well. Service is friendly and was good tonight.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMour first time there. incrediblyour first time there. incredibly lovely, accommodating server. very nice food (pork chop special). the pasta from the neighboring table smelled delicious, so we will definitely return!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Spot! Our group (6 in total) was 45 minutes early for our 8:30 reservation on a Wednesday night. EATS was packed! However, the staff was gracious, the bartender (who we found out later is also an owner) bought us a round on the house, and a table was created for us with a minimal wait. (We sat down around 8:10.) At first we were put off by the crowd, but the lovely reception we received from the staff made us want to stay. Our waitress, Jennifer, really likes her job. She knew the food, was friendly, and had great timing. We ordered every dessert, the salmon burger rocked, the brussel sprouts were yummy, great moule & frites appetizer (enough to share with 6 people). The owner (Mike) is old school - he knows how to run a resturant.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMEasts was great! I had aEasts was great! I had a perfect martini, Happy Hour oysters at $1 a pop, and a very good hamburger - all that they specialize in. Our waitress Hazel was excellent - informative and accommodating. The live jazz was a nice touch. We will definitely return to this lively place.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful little restaurantWonderful little restaurant with great food and great service with no "unnecessary New York attitude" ...breath of fresh air....4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMA simple Sunday brunch. WeA simple Sunday brunch. We didn't get the prix-fixe, but ordered a la carte. The breakfast burrito was huge and tasty, hamburgers were excellent. The huevos rancheros were low on beans, and not the best ever, but good. Service was excellent. Tables are close together here, and if you are seated by the wall your chair will be right against the wall.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, convenient locationWe went to Eats following the St Pats parade, its location close to the 4/5/6 subway line was very convenient both from the end point of the parade and our return to Grand Central. We arrived quite a bit earlier than our reservation time, and the friendly staff accommodated our party immediately. The seating is right in the bar area so it was noisy, but it was a holiday and as groups went on their way the noise died down. The menu offered a variety of appetizers and meals, and the service was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our experience at Eats and would definitely return.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMMy first time, but won't be my lastThis place is great! Really had a great time there. Waitstaff attentive and listened to every need! Food was amazing! From the drinks to the main course...Chocolate martini lovers, UNITE! Succulent grilled shrimp in garlic, but not conventional by any means... They have this steak with fig sauce that is to DIE for! Was my first time, but won't be my last! We were too full to even consider dessert, but the menu was quite tempting! Nicely placed on a somewhat quiet, accessible part of town!3/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
