The food was unique and delicious5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat BrunchI have been here a few times, and enjoy it every time. Came with a group of 8 on Mother's day, and everyone was happy (grandparents, teenagers, adults). Everything we ordered (lobster and eggs, crawfish and grits, red velvet pancakes, bacone) was a big hit. Brunch cocktails sure are tasty too.. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day 2013Wanted to have a intimate yet unique experience -- Eat Street fulfilled those wishes. We were taken care of immediately and with some of the friendliest staff. WE all ordered the Lobster/Egg breakfast-- rich and a nice balance of flavor. Would've like to have a fruit option instead of potatoes but it still worked. The asparagus soup was the bomb!
Love the unique take on the custom drinks. The in-house created bitters and syrups really are an experience and take a new twist on the classic cocktail.
Thank you for making the day a memorable one!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMone of my favesEverything is excellent...food, drinks, dessert - the works! You won't be disappointed (unless you're a vegetarian...it's sort of about delicious meat).5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMyuppie hipster funthe drinks, service, and ambiance are GREAT! we chose it because it was open late on a weeknight and were so glad we came. it's my second time visiting and this is my new favorite bar scene in minneapolis.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMAllows DogsIts nice in the summer they allow dogs to sit on the patio!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMSaturday night, 05/04/2013,Saturday night, 05/04/2013, was the first visit to Eat Street Social for the 4 of us and is one of many we expect to make in the future. The ambiance was bright and lively with very conversant and attentive waiters and a wonderful bartender (mixologist) by the name of Adam Gorski who introduced me to my new favorite drink, (his suggestion) a Boulevardier.
The food we excellent as well, all was prepared perfectly to our requests and well presented.
Give Eat Street Social a try, you won't be dissapointed!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Eats!My husband and I tried Eat Street for a date night. It was fantastic! Cool bar scene. I'm glad it's only 5 minutes from home.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA tasty brunch!Everything we tried off the brunch menu we loved. The dill in the scrambled eggs was a tasty addition. Good portion size on the breakfast potatoes.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI am an experienced restaurantI am an experienced restaurant diner, and I have to say that the food here is top notch. Highly recommended.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great time in theWe had a great time in the big booth in the front corner window. Food was good and service was wonderful!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service wereThe food and service were both quite good. The mussels were outstanding, fantastic broth! Mixed green salad was good, didn't really notice the al,onds and I'd prefer more of an equal ration blood orange to kumquat, but just my taste. For entrees, we ordered the sirloin, the chicken and the gnocchi. The chicken and sirloin were really good, the gnocchi was just OK.
As far as the drinks, they were quite different than the usual, generously strong, but many on the sweet side, so not to our taste. The Older Fashion though was outstanding.
Our service was very attentive, not overbearing but there when we needed something. The ambiance is fine, tables were a bit crowded along the wall where we sat.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful food and service.wonderful food and service. we sat at a table and the sun was shining on us thruout the meal! what I really appreciated was that the music wasn't blasting and you could actually have a conversation. will be back!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMore than social food.Nice fresh take on some classic foods combined with tempting new designs. Found the bar attractive and accessible as it is the hub of the restaurant. The space for dining is ample and flows well. Staff is very courteous and knowledgable. Definitely worth the trip from downtown to experience food.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, great service.Good food, great service. Only criticisms are the chairs are terribly uncomfortable and window tables are quite drafty. Otherwise fun and delicious night overall.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMEat Street Social is absolutelyEat Street Social is absolutely gorgeous - great ambiance, live music during weekend brunch...however the food is a disappointment! The toast was the absolute highlight, but the housemade sausage and french toast were not impressive.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was phenomenalFood was phenomenal! Amazing! We loved it! It was our first time and celebrated our 9th anniversary. We love cooking and good food, so it is hard for us to find a restaurant that can beat our home cooking, this one surpassed our cooking and expectations!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMYou should go!Coffee was unbelievable. French toast and omlette du jour were very good.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is the 3rd time I'veThis is the 3rd time I've been there in a year and all 3 times have been a great experience. Fun ambiance, delicious and unique food, amazing drinks. Love this place! :)4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFood (and Drink) with JoyOne can tell that they love what they do. It shows in the effort put into the food and drink (Oh, the drink(s)!) and in how they engage with the customer(s).4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was creative andThe food was creative and really good for brunch, made specifically to order. The drink menu is really fun and iwe enjoyed watching the bartenders having so much fun making drinks. But, the best thing was our server, Jenny. She was so fun and engaging, honestly, one of the best servers I've ever had. She is a huge asset to the establishment and we had a wonderful time. We can't wait to go back and try it again, perhaps for dinner next time.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Sunday brunch. thanksExcellent Sunday brunch. thanks for the Easter egg for my granddaughter.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot!Had averynice brunch. Portions are a bit small but food was tasty. Good service and lively atmosphere without being overly loud. Loved the jazz music!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was awesome! EspeciallyEverything was awesome! Especially the service from our waitperson who had to deal with a difficult member of our party. Sorry :(3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMJoanneI cannot say enough about how awesome my experience was at Eat Street Social. There was valet parking for $6 so we didn't have to worry about that. We were seated immediately upon our arrival. Our server came to us immediately and explained the drink menu, which by the way, is out of this world unique and fun. Our server was excellent at explaining the menu to us and giving us recommendations for pairings. We never had an empty glass of water. The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the Amish Chicken Breast and I cannot stop raving about the flavor. Everything about Eat Street Social was excellent and I cannot wait to go back!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food and DrinkEverything about the meal was great! Innovative drinks, a great wine and a wonderful meal. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMTook my husband there forTook my husband there for his birthday dinner, amazing food, quite pricey but worth it for a special night. Not really romantic, but we had a great time. Our waitress was amazing!!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyable craft without snobberyI was a little worried at first as I have strong aversions to certain foods and flavors that the ultra "crafted" food would not work for my palate, but our server made a number of good recommendations and helped make a modification that made my experience WONDERFUL. I was very thankful that though other restaurants that are concerned with their "craft" as much as ESS definitely is would baulk at adjusting their creations, ESS was more concerned about me enjoying my meal.
The drinks were an experience in themselves and I very much appreciated the finesse that went into them, but the truth is that none of them blew me away. I liked one, but didn't LOVE it. Nonetheless, we will be back to test out all the other unique things ESS has to off3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMMussels to die for. OutstandingMussels to die for. Outstanding service and very accommodating. It's a fairly noisy place depending on where you sit, but has a really good vibe.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat food & service; too loud thoHostess was very friendly and understanding about us being late. I'm sure we were not alone because there is NO parking. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and intuitive about timing delivery of each course. Food was excellent from the calamari to the hamburger to the lamb. Ditto the specialty cocktails: interesting and flavorful tweaks to classic drinks. Bar was full and busy but not a crazy pick-up joint. Music was crazy loud, though. Too bad because it took away some the enjoyment of our visit.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I went to EatMy husband and I went to Eat Street Social for brunch and really enjoyed it. I had the lobster and eggs, and my husband had the steak/eggs/lobster cake special. Food was very tasty. We were there a little too early for drinks, so next time we'll come later so we can try all those great looking brunch cocktails! Attentive and friendly service.1/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
