East End Brasserie, a new traditional French bistro, is situated oceanfront on the ground level of the hotel in the former Trina space, East End Brasserie will feature all the elements of an authentic Parisian bistro - from a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere to French fare at a modest price. The cuisine by Executive Chef Steve Zobel will be simple and unassuming, letting the quality and freshness of the products speak for themselves in true European style.

It's easy to get a reservation on a Saturday night as the restaurant is not yet well known. It is an excellent French Brasserie experience with traditional items such as French Onion Soup, Steak and Moules Frites, Escargot, Artisanal Cheese Cart, Charcuterie, etc., but also has an excellent selection of fresh seafood, steak, lamb, salad and specials. We had Moules Frites, Clams and Washington State Oysters, Chilled Lobster and Beef Wellington. All excellent, as was dessert. Nearly all entrees are under $30. The wine list includes many French and some new world choices at fair markups. You can sit inside or outside across from the ocean. They are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and bruch on weekends. I highly recommend East End Brasserie.

Reading the other reviews I did have some concern on dining at East End Brasserie because of the service. My experience was great. It is not exactly brasserie food but nonetheless the food is still very, very good. I will definitely be back.

I've dined there twice already and loved both outings. Was able to explore the menu both times with friends to try different dishes. The Moules Frite is terrific; delicate broth with plump mussels. And how can you go wrong with fries? We also tried the lamb and that was equally as good especially with the foie gras stuffed prunes and spinach. Great combination of flavors. I took advantage of the Coq Au Vin Wednesday special and it was so impressive. Tasted like the broth cooked all day under special supervision. Such a treat to dine here on the beach - beautiful ambience with a cozy, yet spacious layout.

Our meals were sensational. We never get two desserts, but this time there were so many good things we couldn't decide. We weren't disappointed at all. We loved this place. Too bad we live in Boston, or we would be regulars.
