"Thoroughly enjoyed Maxwells at the Club. Ordered a number of appetizers that hit the spot, and our waiter created a "sangria" drink using Rosa Regale (BANFI) wine and added fresh fruit. The drink was outstanding!!!! Our intent in going was to listen to a young singer, Marlea Liddle (not sure of the spelling) who was very entertaining, has a gift with her singing talent!! She did Adele's Rolling in the Deep that brought us to our feet!!! Overall, an excellent night. Suggestion: the East Bank Club should advertise that Maxwells and the entertainment are open to the public."

"This was my first time there. I really enjoyed it. There was a jazz band at the bar and I thought they were good. My waitress was wonderful and the food was terrific. Just one little thing, it appeared that they centered all of the customers in one location, which at times made it hard for conversation. I believe they should have been spread out for my privacy and enjoyable conversation."

"underwhelming for the cost. $100+ for 2, with only one cheap glass of one and one mini-dessert? the beet salad was 2/3 good - the red beets were undercooked and not edible. the whitefish was delicious and well prepared, but the first round of broccolini i got were burned on the grill. i asked for another portion, and that was better. the filet was delicious, but disappointingly the fries were soggy! all in all, a mixed review and very pricey."

"Wednesday night small plates dinner was well worth $20, probably worth $22, but now is $24. Service was attentive and waiter was friendly. On a week night, noise level is moderate -- easy to have a conversation -- although you might not want to sit near the bar where there is live music if you want to talk."

"As usual everything was fantastic. Charles and Monica are irreplaceable and it is always a good feeling going to a great restaurant and being greated by people that know you by name. They are always on top of everything, coming to the table to make sure everything is okay. Our server was Kathryn and you couldn't ask for a better server. Friendly, helpfull and just a pleasure to have taking care of us at our table. We have never had anything but the best at Maxwell's due to the personnel you have working for you."
