  • "Highly recommended for that special occasion. Excellent food, well presented menu, attentive service without being overbearing. Chocolate martinis are simply the best."

  • "We had a wonderful birthday dinner for our children (5) and (9). I generally wouldn't recommend Earl's for children, but we went early and the restaurant wasn't crowded. The staff was wonderful. The food was delicious."

  • "First trip to Earl's and I would have to say I was extremely disappointed. My wife and I were quite nervous at 5pm on a Friday we were the ONLY people in the dining room. I got the New York Strip steak and added on a lobster tail. The steak was average at best and for an extra $25 the lobster tail was tiny and not worth the up charge. For a side I got the mashed potatoes which were extremely bland. My wife got the prime rib and she thoroughly enjoyed it. For sides she got the salt roasted fingerling potatoes and the truffled polenta. Both for her sides were also bland and inedible? We ended up paying $170 with tip and it was seriously not worth more than $50. I could have gotten better steaks and sides from Longhorn's. We will never return."

  • "Earl's is a lovely place for a nice upscale lunch. The service is excellent. They do not rush you so it is perfect place for catching up with friends"

  • "It was our second time and it is fabulous. Have never been disappointed. A bit pricey for portion sizes though"

  • "We went there for an anniversary dinner while visiting Peddler's Village. Everywhere we went in the village and asked for opinions about dining, Earl's was tops on the list. We were not disappointed. The menu offered many interesting choices, and we truly enjoyed our meal. My wife had filet and lobster tail. She raved about it. I had the pork chop. Another rave. I have to say the chopped salad could use more flavor, and the lobster dumpling appetizer was not good. We were a little surprised that they didn't do anything to honor our anniversary even though the waitress did chat with us about it. Not that they had to, but most restaurants like to make a couple feel special about their romantic dinner."

  • "My wife and I do not get our frequently, but we did get out Valentines Weekend. We went on a less crowded Sunday evening. Waiter was excellent, Food was prepared perfectly. We had the Oysters, Filet, and added a Lobster Tail. We had not been at Earl's in a couple years, but glad we came back. Highly recommended"

  • "They did not have a booth available, which I requested in the reservation. The food was ok. Very different menu. Not worth the money."

  • "We had been to Earls before it changed its menu and we loved it then. My wife and I had trouble deciding because of all the interesting menu choices. I had the dry aged strip and she had the bouillabaisse. We both loved our choices. We would recommend this place to anyone and plan on returning."

  • "Been to Earls a handful of times for lunch and have always been pleased. Dinner was underwhelming in comparison. Had a great server, but food didn't quite match up."

  • "Excellent food and service. All the staff work together and help each other out. The restaurant area was a bit too quiet and reserves for us but the few tables at the bar were lively and energetic with excellent staff!"

  • "We go to Earl's every time we visit Peddler's Village. It's always fantastic!"

  • "3 of us went for dinner at Earls. 2 people ordered scallops. Thought they were poorly prepared, loaded with cilantro, and overpriced. I had salmon. ok. Not wonderful. Drinks and dinner very overpriced for the quality of food you get. When eating at Earl's, if you don't eat in the bar and have bar food, forget it. Dinner was $55 per person with tip. No appetizer, 1 glass of wine each and 1 shared dessert. For that kind of money, I expect much more quality."

  • "Nice atmosphere and service. Food a bit pricey for the quality. Enjoyable music by the bar and dinner."
    Dined on 1/24/2014
  • "Excellent food. Nice selection of small plates. Fresh oysters and steaks and carefully prepared specialties. Desserts with house-made ice creams and sorbets are very good. Pleasant and candlelit dining room. Nice outdoor patio for the warmer months. Bar with happy hour and subdued "adult" rock music looks like a great hangout. Prices are up there. But, it you won't have to take out a second mortgage and the small plates and drinks are 25% off from five to seven."

  • "Took my Mother-in-Law out for her 70th birthday. Todd our server did his normal fantastic job. Food was excellent. My mother -in-law never had dinner at Earl's before. She was blown away. Great job again. See you soon!!"

  • "I have eaten at Earl's several times, and decided to give it a try for New Year's Eve. The food was delicious. We were given the option of ordering from their special NYE menu, or from the regular menu (a nice touch). The atmosphere was great, the service was spot-on and the best part of all is that they did not rush us out to turn the table!"

  • "By local standards, Earl's is certainly one of the best restaurants in the area, though a bit over-priced. The "live music" (a combo near the entrance) was far too loud, but otherwise the general ambience was very pleasant. Service was attentive, and I heard no complaints about the food (part of 4). For a special-occasion experience, I would recommend Earl's."

  • "We had a wonderful dinner at Earl's. The she-crab soup was delicious. I had the diver scallops entree and my husband had a steak. The portions were not huge. We were full, but not stuffed. The service was understated, yet friendly. We had a nice evening. We would go there again for a special occasion."

  • "If you're looking for excellent food, great drinks, & friendly service, Earl's is the place to go. My husband & I have lunch or dinner in the bar at least twice/month. One of our favorite local gems."
    Dined on 12/23/2013
  • "This ia a great neighborhood restuarant that always has an interesting menu for a stop at the bar for apetizers or an nice eveneing dinner. The Christmas Eve Ambience was very nice and the food was excellent. The service is typically very good, but we did notice a littel less attendivness on Christmas Eve due to a light staff."

  • "This was our first time at Earls. Loved it. This was an anniversary dinner for us. The food was great. Best steak ever. The pineapple coconut can was amazing. Great wait staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience."

  • "This isn't your typical Peddler's Village restaurant, so if you're looking for something a little more modern and a little less tavern with good food and good service, try Earl's."

  • "We dine in this restaurant every time we come to Peddler's Village. The menu is always exciting making it difficult to choose from so many interesting choices. We have never been disappointed with our meals. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "Earl's is a high quality restaurant in every way, a rarity in the middle of nowhere. Service, food and ambience are all top notch."
    Dined on 12/16/2013
  • "The food and ambiance was fantastic. The only negative to our dining experience was our waitress. She seemed extremely flustered and overwhelmed. She would forget about us a lot and didn't get our meals correct. Extremely frustrating for such a night place."
    Dined on 12/15/2013
  • "We have not been there regularly in a couple years. The last time we went was approx. 2 years ago. At that time the menu was scaled down and I was not impressed and therefore hesitant to return. Because of the Christmas season we returned on Friday night. Great move on our part. Food and service was awesome. We will make this part of our regular dining rotation again."
    Dined on 12/13/2013
  • "The lunch is very average. Not a very big selection to choose from on the menu."
    Dined on 12/7/2013
  • "This is not the first I have been to Earl's, there's a reason for that. The food, ambiance and service is always amazing. This weekend started a new menu for Earl's and they have made another winner! I had Steak Tartare, and a perfectly cooked plate of Diver Scallops with Mushroom Risotto. Highly recommend the scallops. Others in our party had Filet that melted in your mouth, and one had the Bouillabaisse that featured a Saffron broth, Scrumptious! Our server, Todd made the evening more special with his unobtrusive, but highly informative presence."
