The food was good, as always.....we did ask for a quiet corner booth. It was in the very back right hand corner, and was very noisy. I guess all of the conversations bounced off the walls in the corners. I believe the most quiet booths are towards the front just behind the bar, because I have eaten there before, so, for future reference when someone asks for a 'quiet' table, that is a better choice.

It was just okay. Didn't live up to the hype. The steak temperature was okay. We both ordered 8 oz. cut filets cooked medium. My husband's was maybe a little too done, but not bad enough to complain and ask them to cook another one. We believe the problem was the meat itself. The filet (specifically texture) was not of sufficient quality for a $40 cut. Lobster rissoto tasted as though it came from a box and was very underdone. The texture was obviously off. Lobster bisque was good. Shrimp scampi was pretty good. Chopped salad was very good. Creme Brulee was excellent. Server was very attentive and helpful. Wine list was great in that it included a diverse selection, as well as a broad price range.

Wonderful restaurant! Food was plentiful, service was outstanding. Salads were tremendous and delicious. Order the mac-n-cheese with stewed tomatoes- we are counting the days to go back and get that! Steaks and seafood galore. No reason to go into the city for a nice dinner when we have Earls in the 'burbs!!

Saturday night. Great location with easy parking. Attractive rooms. Jazz trio playing in background is an appealing feature, but not particularly audible where we were seated. Good crowd. Food was OK. Service was indifferent but OK. Overall poor value for the money for anyone who eats out regularly and is a foodie.

Incredible from the moment you step in: the smooth decor is contemporary and unique, the hostesses outstanding and friendly, the rooms are crisp and the ambience somewhat formal but definitely not stuffy. The food is incredible: the beef items we ordered were tender and rich. The fish was perfectly cooked. All portions were healthy. We will certainly return. There's too much on the menu left to enjoy and the staff and atmosphere are excellent.

  • This meal was a disaster!
    OpenTable Diner Since 2007VIP
    Dined on 5/22/2008
This meal was a disaster! We ordered lunches - we were charged for dinners! I asked to make sure the chef did not use red pepper in my dish which had a vodka cream sauce. I was served a meal with a white cream sauce and the waitress told me it was because the red pepper was taken out. Sorry, but that does not change the color of a tomato-based sauce (ie, vodka cream sauce). Never received bread with our meal. Complained to a gentlemen (that I believe was the owner) and they offered to send us home with bread - NO THANKS - DISASTER of a MEAL!!! We used to eat there on a weekly basis. Started a diet three months ago and this was a celebratory lunch. It will be a long time before I return. They offered a free cup of coffee-THANKS!!

My NY Strip Steak was outstanding (done perfectly) and the Caesar salad was also top notch. The potatoes were only warm. My wife had the duck and it was under done and she did not finish it. Service and ambiance were both excellent. This was our second time dining @ Earl's Prime and while this time was not quite as good as the first we will definitely return for a future meal.

The first course was very good. I had the chopped salad, and my wife had some featured appetizer. Both were very good - the only problem was the server cleared our dishes immediately after we finished our first course and exchanged those dishes with the main course. There could not have been more then 10 seconds between courses, and we were 20 minutes early for our reserved time so I don't understand what the rush was for... unless it was a case of poor timing? I asked for a glass of cabernet to enjoy with the main course and had to wait until 75% of my meal was eaten before it arrived. Speaking of wine - their wine list by the bottle is excellent. Then why's their wine by the glass is so limited and mediocre. This was our last visit.

The food at Earl's is incredible and is always prepared to your likening and beautifully presented with a pretty flower on your entree plate. The chopped salad is enormous as are most of their dishes and definitely big enough for me to bring back the leftover for a second yummy meal. We have been there several times and the food is consistantly excellent, the service (and we have had many different waiters) is outstanding with friendly efficient waiters and we never have to wait for our table. It is always ready when we get there and even the hostesses are friendly when greeting you as you come into the restaurant. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends and they are as hooked on Earls as I am. Excellent restaurant

I recently attended a special occasion luncheon in their upstairs room and even with a group of 50 the food was prepared beautifully and appropriately hot &/or cold. Very pricey for dinner. Nice to sit at the lovely bar for lunch on the weekends. Even the "house" wines are wonderful. We enjoyed a lovely Cosentino and reminisced about our trip to the winery in Napa Valley.
