Diner Reviews
  • "Good pub food, beer & wine. Lots of TVs to watch games & events. Great service."

  • "We were a group of 4 for a 6 pm early dinner. The beer was good. The food was ok. I had the chicken pot pie and it tasted just fair. I expected it to be much better. Overall, I think I would stick to the burgers next time. "

  • "Sit doewn restaurants in this neighboorhood that is ot pretentious or touristy are not as easy to come by. This place hit the spot. We were seated quickly. The burgers were good. The staff was friendly. I'd go again for lunch."

  • "We wanted a reasonably priced place within walking distance of Rockefeller Center. We made an OpenTable reservation for 5:30 pm at Eamonn's. Despite being delayed 30 minutes getting to the restaurant (and failing to call the restaurant) we were still able to get a table after waiting about 15 minutes. The lower level is the bar but upstairs was great (quieter) for our party of seven (including three young children) My fish and chips were good and I'm told the crab cakes and shepherds pie were also good. Everyone at our table said the would order their food again if/when we returned. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I would keep this place in mind if you're looking for a reasonably priced Irish Pub/Restaurant in Midtown."

  • "Recently went with a large group - 8 people. Salad overdressed, chicken dry and overcooked. Small portions. Went home and snacked. Beer was cold, but that is not enough for me to return."

  • "Last minute search for a dinner spot found us at Eamonn's and we loved it. Waiter was awesome. Table was comfortable down in the back of the room. Everyone loved their meal. Would go back again! Only con is the bar is rather loud."

  • "I went here for a casual business lunch. Their veggie burger is great and I'm super picky with them. This is a great local spot if you want good pub food. Recommend sitting upstairs versus downstairs if going for lunch, way brighter room."

  • "We really enjoyed lunch at Eamonn's. We got a table upstairs by the window, which was very bright and quiet. Everyone enjoyed their food - from the burger, to a pasta, an omlette and the fish and chips. The servers are very friendly; after a bit of a slow start, the service was very attentive. Given the choices in the neighborhood, this is a great, reasonably priced option!"

  • "This spot is a nice Irish bar, clean, good menu (lots of non Irish Options too) .. great spot to meet after work for some food and a few drinks"

  • "The food and the drinks were amazing. The waitress we had was TERRIBLE to the point of being outright rude. We ordered a round of shots, she acted put out by us, left them all at the end of the table, and then made us pass them out. We had a large group and they were very accommodating! The food was awesome!"

  • "Had a business lunch there and requested upstairs because it was supposed to be quieter, not necessarily true. I don't think there was a really quiet place for lunch, but it was not intolerable, just had to speak a little louder. Might actually be quieter downstairs in the back. Good service, good choices and the sandwiches were good. Would to there again."

  • "Eamonn's was wonderful. All of my friends and I enjoyed our experience there. There were no problems with our reservation. The waitresses were very nice and patient. The food was fantastic with good-sized portions. Plus, the food came out pretty quick which was a plus. Will definitely come back in the future."

  • "We were in mid-town to see a matinee and we started looking for a place to eat around 5. I work in the city in our office there' so I know enough to stay as far away frm the Times Square area as possible to add "tourist pricing and service". We wanted a place that was comfortable and reasonably priced with decent food. Found Eamonn's on open table, liked the look of the menu and we were not disappointed. Very comfortable ambiance. Busy but not mobbed. Good variety on the menu and everybody liked their meal. Friendly Irish lass did a fine job with the service. Recommended."

  • "I have been before and would recommend it again. As it turned out tne Open Table reservation did not hit their books in time (perhaps it was too close to when I went to the restaurant), and they did not have a table available when I arrived (but for a long wait). So I didn't dine there that day."

  • "We enjoyed a pleasant evening in the upstairs restaurant. The service was efficient and friendly, the food was typical pub fare and our party of 5 enjoyed our chosen meals."
    Dined on 11/29/2011
  • "Upstairs dining room is candle-lit with large windows on the street. Our group of 6 was given a round table next to the window which was perfect. Our waitress was terrific. Friendly, attentive and everything came out just as we ordered it. We were not rushed, it was a Saturday evening which is much quieter there. All 6 were happy which is a rarity in our group!!!"

  • "we are fortunately to get a seat close to window, so it was quite . the food is fair, the waitress did not look happy.we booked a 11:30am brunch from opentable, but my friend arrived only to find the door was locked, the resturant was closed! until I called them, they said they open on 12:00, but they were kind enough to open the door to let my friend in . so overall it was a moderate expreience"

  • "Eamonn's is a favorite "before theater" dinner spot for us. Close to Grand Central and an easy walk to the theater distrct. The menu is varied, for light or full meals. We love Eamonn's chicken pie, light crust; huge chunks of white meat chicken. We always feel welcomed there and leave satified."

  • "Nothing much to say about this restaurant. Food was reasonably priced but nothing to write home about. Okay for a sandwich but forget the main courses. It was obvious that the food was precooked reheated when served. I would not recommend this restaurant."
