We were seated at one of the high top tables near the bar on a Saturday night. The noise level was not overwhelming (which was lovely). Great beer, though they could add a few more Irish selections. It was our first time there and we may not have found the best part of the menu. The trout and the shepherd's pie were very middle of the road. The mashed potatoes were excellent.

Excellent service, good drinks and food. It was later at night and went to grab some food rather than a long meal. It is a pub/bar with tables that serve food at the back. Nice decor and the team working there were great. Variety of choices on the menu to suit all tastes. If your looking for a catch up type meal with friends in a nice atmosphere, check out Eamonn's!

  • Reasonable For Midtown

We wanted a reasonably priced place within walking distance of Rockefeller Center. We made an OpenTable reservation for 5:30 pm at Eamonn's. Despite being delayed 30 minutes getting to the restaurant (and failing to call the restaurant) we were still able to get a table after waiting about 15 minutes. The lower level is the bar but upstairs was great (quieter) for our party of seven (including three young children) My fish and chips were good and I'm told the crab cakes and shepherds pie were also good. Everyone at our table said the would order their food again if/when we returned. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I would keep this place in mind if you're looking for a reasonably priced Irish Pub/Restaurant in Midtown.

We really enjoyed lunch at Eamonn's. We got a table upstairs by the window, which was very bright and quiet. Everyone enjoyed their food - from the burger, to a pasta, an omlette and the fish and chips. The servers are very friendly; after a bit of a slow start, the service was very attentive. Given the choices in the neighborhood, this is a great, reasonably priced option!

Had a business lunch there and requested upstairs because it was supposed to be quieter, not necessarily true. I don't think there was a really quiet place for lunch, but it was not intolerable, just had to speak a little louder. Might actually be quieter downstairs in the back. Good service, good choices and the sandwiches were good. Would to there again.

We were in mid-town to see a matinee and we started looking for a place to eat around 5. I work in the city in our office there' so I know enough to stay as far away frm the Times Square area as possible to add "tourist pricing and service". We wanted a place that was comfortable and reasonably priced with decent food. Found Eamonn's on open table, liked the look of the menu and we were not disappointed. Very comfortable ambiance. Busy but not mobbed. Good variety on the menu and everybody liked their meal. Friendly Irish lass did a fine job with the service. Recommended.

I have been before and would recommend it again. As it turned out tne Open Table reservation did not hit their books in time (perhaps it was too close to when I went to the restaurant), and they did not have a table available when I arrived (but for a long wait). So I didn't dine there that day.
