Diner Reviews
  • "The view was breathtaking and the atmosphere was perfect. I can't think of a better place for a marriage proposal."

  • "Our expectations for the Eagle's Nest were high based on other "top of the Hyatt" experiences, but this one falls short. The food was good not great, the service was good not great, and the overall decor is very tired. Add to that fine dining prices and you have a disappointing experience. The scenic view of the city is great, but everything else is average at best."

  • "The shrimp cocktail comes with giant shrimp with cocktail sauce and also grilled shrimp - it was delicious! The mixed greens salad was really special - the cheese and the dressing were wonderful! The salmon was also delicious but the spring vegetables that come with it were skimpy. We also had the "Vegan Tower" which is roasted vegetables, which was very good. We're really not used to paying these kind of prices, but with the gift certificate from our daughters, it was a delightful evening to celebrate our 37th anniversary!"

  • "It was a nice, relaxing evening. I will be back and recommend to other people."

  • "We chose to visit The Eagles Nest on the 4th with hopes of viewing fireworks in downtown Indy. We were not disappointed. The view was amazing. Our eyes feasted on the hundreds of displays from dusk 'til the final bursts faded away in the ball diamond. Our reservation was for 8:45 PM and we made two complete rotations during our meal. The ambiance of TEN was the perfect fit for romance. Special thanks to Renee for snapping our photo and keeping our Arnold-Palmer glasses full! We found our entire experience to be so incredible that we may just make this an annual event."

  • " If you want to impress someone on a date, go to the Eagle's Nest!!!"
    Dined on 7/6/2014
  • "Wonderful view. Great for special occasions. Service good, could have been a little better on drink refills. Food portions could have been a little larger for the price."
    Dined on 7/6/2014
  • "I can't say anything bad happened but other than the view & crab cakes everything was average."

  • "My family was in Indianapolis for a convention and my husband and I decided to go out for a nice dinner. The view was spectacular, our waiter was terrific, the food was delicious. My husband is a vegetarian and we were very happy that there were plenty of choices for him, including 2 entrees. We plan to go back whenever we are in Indianapolis."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and the experience was memorable! From the food to the service to the view were all phenomenal. Romantic spot to focus on each other and enjoy fine cuisine at a special location. Thank you Eagle's Nest!"

  • "The Eagle's Nest is a must for a romantic, intimate dinner. The rotating restaurant affords a unique view of Indianapolis as it turns 360 degrees every hour. The ambiance was fantastic, and the food was delicious!!. Our waiter,Jared was very personable and prompt. we like the fact that we were not rushed during our meal......This was our second visit... the first visit we arrive late as the restaurant was winding down. We were able to enjoy a drink and appetizer as we gazed at the view of Indianapolis at night."
    Dined on 7/3/2014
  • "As above...great service absolutely! Sea scallops over cooked severely!"
    Dined on 7/4/2014
  • "Awesome view of the city of Indianapolis. The rotational setting didn't make us nautious, and the food was sensational. Our waiter was willing to put their peach cobbler up against my wife's. Though it was good, it didn't take the cake. Nonetheless, we will return because we enjoyed every bit of the experience."

  • "This was our first time dining there, so we were not sure what to expect. We did enjoy the scenic view. The selection wasn't huge but they seemed to try to have something for everyone. There is a substitution fee if you want to switch something. So that made it slightly ore difficult to decide on an entree, as you had to see if it was paired with something you liked/wanted to eat. Our server was very nice and very attentive, a good blend of professional and friendly. My only complaint is that the side that came with my entree was VERY overcooked (as though they gave me something that had been forgotten in the oven or left under the hot lamp). The rest of my food was very tasty. So our anniversary was not completely ruined."

  • "This was a great place to go with someone special, We both had salmon & it was very tasty. I had a Cloud Ten cocktail that was wonderful. I am looking forward to going again & taking friends."

  • "My husband and I have been trying new restaurants and The Eagle's Nest was our pick for this week-end. We were not disappointed. He had the Duck and it was fabulous! I started out with Quail on Saffron rice. . .it was sooo spicy! But the waiter didn't hesitate to offer to bring me something else. I opted for the Halibut and was NOT disappointed! It was so good it melted in your mouth. The service was impeccable and the view was awesome! We lingered over our dinner and then had coffee and dessert which was yummy! Yes it is pricey but worth it! Don't let the business casual dress code turn you off. It was not at all stuffy and we had a great time. We will be going back. Thank you Eagle's Nest."

  • "Dinner was great, romantic setting and awesome view!"

  • "I took my boyfriend here because we got a groupon for 1/2 off. The food was delicious. I got the prime rib and mashed potatoes, and my boyfriend got the filet mignon and baked potato. The prime rib was the best prime rib I have ever had. We were a little disappointed with the shrimp cocktail appetizer. For $18 we expected more than 4 shrimp. However, it was really good, and my boyfriend loved the cocktail sauce. I would absolutely go back for some special event (it is way too expensive to visit more than occasionally) and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a really nice night out on the town or to celebrate a really special event. The view really was incredible."

  • "A fun place to eat for a special occasion. The food was good and service was fine."
    Dined on 6/24/2014
  • "Was great ...service was awesome!!! My teenagers really enjoyed the view...food was really good ...but not foodie good ...great steaks and salmon just like u would expect at a hotel upscale restaurant ... Again though...service was perfect from the hostess through the wait staff ..and at the end of the day ...that's what really made our dinner so enjoyable a on a special occasion !!!"

  • "Had not been to this restaurant for a number of years. The staff was very attentive and professional and provided excellent service. The prime rib was superb and the finishing peach cobbler dessert was to die for. Will definitely return in the future."
    Dined on 6/22/2014
  • "This restaurant has the special opportunity to host a view like no other in the city. I would not say that the food is spectacular, but they do have a wide selection on their menu."

  • "I have lived in Indy all my life but this was my first time eating at the Eagle's Nest. The view was great, food was wonderful and the whole experience made our celebration really special."
    Dined on 6/21/2014
  • "We went to the Eagle's Nest for a quiet anniversary dinner, and it was surely the right choice. It was a nice night, so the view was terrific. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable, and recommended just the right choices. The food was prepared to perfection and was outstanding. Even the deserts, which we could barely manage, were a real treat. We are sorry we have overlooked this hidden gem in the sky, but will be back again for another great romantic dinner with a view!"
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "The Eagle's Nest was great! The food was delicious, however, the $18 crab cakes came with 2 crab cakes.... We had 3 people at our table and the server didn't mention there would only be 2 crab cakes when we ordered. Other than that, the filet mignon was perfect and the service staff was very attentive. My water was never empty and everyone was polite. I would definitely recommend it to someone who has never been, because it's a great experience."

  • "It was a ok place for a date, service was a little to in your business 24/7, I mean I'd take a sip of water and there was someone behind me filling it up, also felt like the servers were pushing things on to the bill, and food is ok very fatty meat"
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "Expected higher quality and better service. Filet was fatty and overcooked. Bread was hard. Waitress left us for way too long before checking in."
    Dined on 6/18/2014
  • "I came to the Eagle's Nest with a friend for my 30th Birthday, and we both loved it! The views were beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and the service was great! I will recommend this to any and everyone for a special event!"

  • "My wife and I enjoyed a nice evening at the Eagle's Nest celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. the staff was cordial, attentive and very gracious in tending to our needs. I think we will be going back more often when we want just a special evening out and an excellent view of the Indianapolis skyline."
    Dined on 6/14/2014
  • "Food was decent. I felt paying to park was outrageous for the price you pay to dine. Service was excellent."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "Scenery from the rooftop was interesting. Service was a little slow but maybe because the food & waiter we had was GREAT!"
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "Food was mostly bland. The filet was tough, the Caesar salad was not fresh, and the mashed potatoes were dry. The view is an incredible look over downtown Indy and surrounding areas. Ambiance is the main attraction to this restaurant. If you want something out of the ordinary in Indy this is the place to go. However, if you are wanting good steak...go to Texas Roadhouse. The meat is the same if not better for 1/4 of the price."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "Great food and view! We would highly recommend and cant wait to go back"
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "We had a wonderful dinner at the Eagle's nest. Its a great place to nice quiet cozy celebration. The main attraction of the place is the 360 degree view of Indianapolis. It felt like I was on a space ship. The food was very good and not too pricey for a fancy place like this. The service was very good as well. Our waitress was very kind and had a good knowledge about the menu and whats good on it. Overall, its an awesome place to have a romantic dinner. It is best to get your bookings at 8PM (During summer) and stay there till 10-10:30."
    Dined on 6/5/2014
  • "Wish there was more food! The shrimp cocktail only had two shrimp in it. That is not enough shrimp for the high price of $17. The special was very delicious but the other entrees had very little food on the plate."
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "My wife and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We chose to go to the Eagle's Nest and were glad we did. They had great food and a wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed sipping our wine and taking in the views of the city."

  • "Obviously a great place for the view of the city. Food overall was good but skirt steak very tough. Wait staff kind but not attentive for several minutes before checkout. Overall, very pleased."

  • "We had out of state guests for a birthday dinner. They were so impressed with the whole "picture". Service was fantastic as always. Food was deliciously great as always. Truly a winner!"
