We live a block away so thought we'd try this spot as the patio always seemed busy this summer. There were 4 of us. Wine list comes on an ipad - annoying for us, but just be warned. They were out of the lobster mac 'n' cheese and told us only after we ordered. Overpriced for the quality of the food. Lobster roll was too salty, dry, had pieces of shell in it and the bun was overstuffed. Ravioli was swimming in oil. Fish of the day was overcooked. Service was excellent, and the ambiance was nice, seats were comfortable and the support staff were also very good. Go for drinks, avoid dinner.

Lobster Mac and Cheese: not fresh and over cooked lobster with maybe it was Gorgonzola cheese that kills what should have been sweet lobster. Ribs ok but sauce way too sweet. Prices are high at this poser - may be due to proximity to ACC. Does not deserve the volume it sees.

We came here with a voucher for my wife's birthday brunch, and this is a great example of voucher gone RIGHT. Yup, my form of romance is taking my wife out for brunch with a voucher. This is how to reel 'em in, boys. Service here was a touch slow, I'm guessing because it was the last day of the voucher. But, she was very nice & accomodating. Food: Incredible. We had a bread platter to start... I think this is the best bread/pastry I've had in the city. The only rival is Edulis, but that's more plain and this is richer. Our server reco'd the maple burger and steak & eggs. Both were incredible. Nice decor too. We will be back. WOW.

The restaurant was practically empty, yet again, we showed up to an inside table. I asked the waitress to switch us to a window table, and her response was we've already set up this one. With the exception of always get stuck inside, while all the window seats are available, everything else was excellent. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had.

Of the few restaurants near the ACC, this one is excellent. Excellent food and service incl. careful attention to food allergies. Willing to substitute. Do make reservations. Prices not out of line with quality of food. Great staff. Would choose this restaurant again. If going before event, go early and let server know so he/she can ensure you are ready to leave on time. All seating comfortable. Email and phone confirmation of reservation. Large outdoor patio, but not good for those with allergies to heavy traffic pollution.

We had a rather late reservation and the restaurant was rather quiet. E11even has a long wine & cocktail list - selected from an iPad. However, the spritz I ordered wasn't great - way too much ice in it. We ordered the cheese burger, the maple burgers, and the shrimps. They were delicious but a bit overpriced. Location is great, but probably won't go back anytime soon.

We have been several times and always enjoy ourselves...this time; however, we were ignored by the wait staff, our steaks were over done, and cam out cold, our mashed potatoes and asparagus were cold, and then dessert was plunked down in front of us while we were still eating. Overall, it was a colossal waste of $280

We went for dinner before a concert and the service was very accommodating and ensured we got fed quickly to make our show. The food was decent, nothing special but as we were leaving we stopped to use the washroom and it was disgusting. For a restaurant to claim to be fine dinning and charge what they do, they should be more self aware. It left a bad taste in our mouth and I wouldn't rush back.

Sat on the patio, it was loud but expected given the location. Sat at a "high table" meaning we could not fit our legs under the table (chairs should be a tad lower). Initial greeting and seating hostess was lovely, however, the waitress was not. She was slow, she was unresponsive, we felt like we were bothering her - could have been an off night. The food was good and plentiful with the prices you would expect for the area. Ben Johnson was at the table near us - just sayin'

Service was absolutely excellent. Cool assortment of cocktails which you can look at on the ipad they bring to the table. Good food choices - everything from filet to hot dogs. Linguine was delicious as was roast chicken. Tad noisy but to be fair we were there for dinner on a night just when there was a Lady Gaga concert at the ACC, a Beyoncé concert at the Rogers Centre, AND World Cup Soccer on the tv in the bar. Would bet it is generally quieter. Only disappointment was the desert. Broken Banana Pie was all whipped cream with very little banana custard and a chocolate covered graham crust that was so hard, it was almost impossible to get through. Would go again.

All good on this first visit to E11even. Food was good, nice atmosphere ( inside ) and the service was very good and pleasant. The IPad wine & drink list is a neat touch. They boast a substantial wine cellar. The wine we chose was very good, albeit a little on the pricey side as was many of their choices. For an extensive wine offering, they didn't seem to have much in the lower to mid price range and much of what they did have I did not recognize. Wines have gotten so diverse in terms of their origins that not recognizing anything isn't all that uncommon. One wonders though if it is easier to up charge the average of wine charge if the product offering ( and their typical price point ) is less well known. Would probably go back.

Had a pre Jays game dinner at e11even last Tuesday evening. Our server was lovely and very attentive and the food, once it arrived, was very good. We did wait about an hour for our main courses which was disappointing but what I impressed with is that they were aware of the delay and approached me before I felt the need to complain. The manager also approached our table with apologies and bought us drinks as a thanks for our patience. I can't express enough how refreshing this is! Service often falters these days and in a city packed with restaurants with good food, service is a way a restaurant can really distinguish itself. I will definitely go back. A

Brought a coworker that had never been. Went to try the burger week offering and we loved it. Only downside was that we order truffled fries and they never ended up coming and the server didn't check on us before we had to return to work. Server didnt really 'fix' the mistake other than apologizing. my first time there so I know this is not how service normally is there. Too bad it was coworker's first experience though.

My family and I went for dinner there a couple of weeks ago for a birthday dinner and had a lovely time. The service was great, the atmosphere was upscale and felt like a special place for a birthday dinner. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. It is a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for and the all-round dining experience was worth it. That night was a Raptors playoff game and outside of the restaurant the fans were watching the game on the big screen of the ACC. Fans were also watching in the bar area of the restaurant which gave a nice mix of fine dining for us, and the fanfare of the game in the bar away from our table. Overall, a great time and a great night!
