we had lunch at E & O this week. They had a great sushi menu, but for those who want traditional lunch food, a very good selection as well. Everyone at our table was satisfied with food. The rich brioche type buns were my favorite. I had the fish sandwich and sister had burgers. Both were very good.

We went for lunch 3 of us & ordered three very distinctive dishes. One person ordered the cheese pizza which they thought was delicious one person ordered the tuna sushi and raved about the wonderful compliment of flavors flavors. I myself ordered the chicken wings which was a starter but I had that for my main course the food was delicious we then ordered the red velvet cake with vanilla ice cream outstanding highly recommend the restaurant would be good for all occasions and there's something on the menu all would love

We (my girlfriend and I) chose E & O to celebrate a birthday celebration after having attended a private group gathering at E & O about a year earlier. Unfortunately the experiences were nothing alike. While the food during our first visit was nothing short of amazing, our second trip left much to be desired. We all were in agreement that our appetizer (bone morrow tacos) tasted bland and lacked flavor. We wrote it off as a bad choice on our part, however, all of our entrees followed suit. The service was average, but the dinner and atmosphere was nothing like our first trip. We all left extremely disappointed in our decision. For the price, we just expected things to be better all around.

We hadn't been to Randhurst since the renovations were complete. We were blown away by how different it looked. But our minds were blown when we tasted our first course at E&O. We sat outside and listened to a great 3 piece band. Our first dish was the kale and roasted brussels sprout warm salad. I have never tasted anything so delicious. We ordered a few more small plates and finished with the prawns. This felt like a downtown restaurant. One thing was better than the next. We will most definitely go back.

The food, ambiance and service were all really great except that we had 2 people in our party who had significant dietary restrictions and we requested certain foods to be prepared a certain way. The server assured us that they could accommodate our requests however when the food arrived, the items that we could not eat were present. we waited a while for our food so we didn't send it back. Just order what's on the menu, no special requests.

E&O is a suburban gem - like being in city of Chicago - eclectic and fun without the hassles. Modern play on both Asian and other cuisines. Highly recommended. One can see the influence of Paul Lee from the hostesses to the servers - whatever it takes to make the customer enjoy the experience.

E & O Restaurant is definitely worth a try if you haven't gone there. The food is unique, Asian influence and delicious. The signature rolls are extremely tasty. We did not experience the sushi, but one of the people in our party said it was scrumptious. I noticed many of the customers were having the signature rolls. We also were adventurous and tried an unusual dish with smoked humus and cauliflower through the recommendation of the server. It was very good. The wine list had an interesting variety to offer and the ones we selected were very pleasant. Service was very, the server very personable and knowledgeableWe will visit E & O again and recommend it to others..

This is the second time going to this restaurant and the experience was a 4 out of a 5 overall. E&O is located at Randhurst Mall (which is changing for the better) and has a city/upscale feel but located in the suburbs. The things we ordered were different with good flavors coupled with different textures.. recommend crispy kale, bone marrow tacos, and dynamite salmon sushi.

It has been a while since I have been to a a very good fusion restaurant. This restaurant offered a wide variety of Asian dishes fused with Continental flavors and style. The restaurant decor is on point in expressing the message that harmonizes earth and ocean concepts that serves as the foundation or embodiment of their menu offerings.

Our second time to E&O and it was just as good as the first. This time we sat outside where there is live music in the summer. We had excellent entrees - sushi and the linguine with corn cream sauce, and for dessert, red velvet cake and pineapple cake. Waiter was great and the music was absolutely wonderful - they started playing at 6:30. If you want it quieter, I recommend not sitting right by the band. We will definitely be back!

I love the idea of E&O but sometimes the reality doesn't live up to the hype. The servers were great, but I've learned to watch out for the menu descriptions. Some dishes are very bland despite the highfalutin menu descriptions. Yes, the food arrives at different times not all together but I usually take that into account when I order. Yes, there are some wonderful items on the menu. Consistency would be welcome. And if the dish is plain which is fine by some mid-western tastes, just call it as is. I love the Tuna Poke but the Jumbo Prawns were regular sized white shrimp on white rice with white sauce...tasteless and boring. I'll go back but read the menu carefully and ask questions before ordering.

We were celebrating my mother's birthday and our lunch couldn't have been better. Our server was so helpful - suggesting just the right menu options for the two of us. Our food was delicious! E&O is located in the newly developed Randhurst mall area and is perfect for relaxed dining. The food is creative and outstanding - we are still talking about all the delicious items three days later! There is an amazing range of food selections - sushi to cheese covered fries, the best crab cake (loaded pretty much all the way though with real crab) thin crust pizzas and an amazing kale and brussel sprout salad with shrimp (even those who would turn up their nose at kale and brussel sprouts love this salad!). Service was very attentive and knowledgeable with excellent food recommendations. Enjoy!

I took my husband out the day he got promoted to celebrate. We had the popcorn shrimp, short ribs and burger. The short ribs had no flavor whatsoever. I think I've made better food in my crockpot. My husband isn't one to send food back so he ate it because was simply starving after work. My burger had two tiny patties on a way too big bun. It tasted great but I think this place might be trying too hard. I won't be going back.

We arrived early and sat at the bar. This allowed us to both watch the sushi being made, and grab a drink before our meal. The bartender was artful, and fun. Watching how much he interacted with the customers, the sushi maetros and others was a joy. The food was all quite good... from the spicy tuna roll, to the octopus ink pasta, to the steak. Dessert portions are a bit small for the price. But, the dessert was yummy. My biggest disappointment was... we had written in the reservation, told the host and our waiter that we were there to celebrate dad's wedding next weekend. There was no acknowledgment of this (no candle in the dessert or anything). Other than that, it was truly an enjoyable spot.

Very nice outdoor seating, great music- not so good if you are trying to have a conversation. Best to order a bunch of appetizers and sushi, rather than a traditional dinner. Food was good with delicate flavors and very fresh. Some portions were quite small - 3 medium size scallops for $15.00- a bit steep. Good choices for alcohol.
