Since 1985 E&E Stakeout Grill has served some of the best steak, Prime Rib, Daily Seafood Specials and more in a casual setting where a warm tone decor and sparkling waterfall greets guests. The lively staff serves up first rate dishes. Using lean tender choice cut from com-fed beef, Chef Erwin prepares entrees skillfully. Daily seafood specials and plenty of fresh fish and shrimp add variety. You may choose you favorite wine from the stellar wine list or enjoy their generous cocktails from their full liquor bar.   • "3 of were celebrating a birthday. Overall, the experience was good. The onion soup with chunks of beef was excellent. I had requested a birthday dessert when I made the reservation and again with the hostess. The check was brought and no dessert. I had to leave the table, check with the server , only to find out she had never been told."

  • "My husband and I live close by and had been wanting to try E&E for a while. We dined here on a late Saturday night. The noise level was quiet and the ambiance was great. I ordered the South Beach martini which was very reasonably priced and delicious. For my meal I ordered the filet mignon tips and my husband had the chicken carbonara. My filet tips were tasty, however they were undercooked. I asked for well done and there were some pieces I could not eat. The carbanara was good but not memorable. The food wasn't outstanding but it was good. Our service was impecible though and we wouldn't be opposed to dining here again."

  • "we had an 8:30 reservation and sat right away. the atmosphere is really good. I had the seafood sampler platter special and my wife had almond crusted shrimp. Both were done nicely. our waitress made a nice wine suggestion (its a secret!) but after that seemed distracted. Takes us an hour to get there from where we live. I would eat there again if in the neighborhood but would not make a special trip."

  • "As a "snowbird" who spends the bulk of the winter in Florida, this restaurant is one of our favorites. Any time we bring friends or family to this restaurant, they are always very pleased. The only glitch with our last visit was probably an open table glitch. We were bringing our visiting daughter here for the early bird on a Monday, and although we preferred reservations for 5:00, open table showed 4:00 as the latest available. Once we arrived and got seated, it was obvious that there were plenty of empty tables available. The next time, I will call the restaurant to confirm availability for a later time. Other than that, perfect. If you want a great meal with very reasonable drinks, plan to visit during the early bird hours."

They have also added something new to the dipping sauce--balsamic vinegar, I think. Jenna was an attentive waitress, noting when we needed refills or plates cleared. We also like to have a drink in the bar before dinner, taking advantage of Happy Hour. Greaet evening as usual!"

  • "While the food was fabulous, our server pretty much spoiled the dinner. While she was not overtly rude, her lack of warmth made it obvious she would rather be doing anything else. After we were seated it took her ten minutes before she came over to our table. She even rolled her eyes at one point. I've been going to E&E for many years and have never been treated so poorly. Maybe she was having an off night, I don't know."

  • "We dine at E&E on a regular basis about once every two weeks--the food is always fresh and the presentation wonderful. As we are observing lent, we have been going there on Fridays for the wonderful fish dishes (this past Friday the scallop special was unbelievable ! I'm a grouper fan, so both my husband & myself were in our glory!) we always started with the escargot. Our waiter Rebekah was very attentive, always with a smile . Well,we head back up north end of this week so we will miss E & E ----till we meet again in November The Mac Phersons"

  • "LOVE E&E!!! We are "locals" so we go at least once a month throughout the year. However, in Feb and March, reservations must be made weeks in advance. That's ok, because the food is excellent! However, the other night, we got there at 5:30 and were out by 6:20!! We were with friends, and we felt so rushed. I would have had another drink, but waitress had us packed up and ready to go! I can see why, because there was a very long line outside, but when we got to the car, we all looked at each other and couldn't believe how rushed our dinner was. The food was excellent!!! The drinks were all so good....no skimping at E&E."

  • "My wife and I had a date night at E & E Stakeout recently and it was enjoyable. Clam Chowder was very good but even though my wife liked the Caesar which followed, I wasn't so keen. To me it was a little dry. My wife had the lobster tail which she really enjoyed and I had the Delmonica Rib Eye which was pretty good although a little overcooked. However, we have eaten here before and it has always been a favourite of ours perhaps this time I just was a bit unlucky. Still we are going back again soon."
